I have been working with Suzette for over 3 years and our on-going design projects are always met with enthusiasm, great ideas and amazing attention to detail. Suzette has had a hand in almost every room of our home including a fully done basement with custom bar, wine room and theater area. From floor to ceiling, Suzette's design knowledge, fresh ideas and experience is evident in each room. Suzette Donleavey helped me to re design my 1900 sq ft town house. She chose flooring, light fixtures, cabinets, countertops, fireplace design and furniture. I have been told by multiple people including realtors that because of the exquisite job Suzette did designing my home that the value has increased well over $200,000 compared to all other units. Although she worked with my very limited budget, she made my home look like a model unit !

It's hard to know where to begin on listing her many qualities which are numerous. Suffice to say she has remained at all times constant, professional, committed and passionate. Suzette is creative, imaginative and passionate about ensuring her client's satisfaction. She did our entire home starting with the architect through the builder and all of the trades over a three year period. Many of the pictures on this site are Suzette's work on our home. When I leased 2,600sf of bare space for my law office the only person I called was Suzette. She did everything from room layout to furniture, rugs, light fixtures and color schemes. New law clients routinely tell me how comfortable and relaxed they are in my office. So many have asked who did the design work that I had to get a stack of Well Designed Interiors business cards and put them on the reception desk. Probably time to get some more.

We were opening an entire wedding catering venue and didn't want it to look like a catering hall. Suzette took on the massive job of creating a classic, elegant look that included commercial grade banquet furniture mixed with antique furniture, multiple designs of carpet, 5 commercial bathrooms, outdoor ceremony area and multiple side projects. From the moment I first saw the drawings I felt this was going to be a special place and with each stage of the construction and execution it became clear it would exceed expectations. Touring brides and grooms is a key part of booking our venue and to this day we receive the most extraordinary comments on the colors, wood, carpet and furnishings. Suzette has the "eye" to see the perfect room whether it's your dining room seating 8 or a banquet hall that seats 220.

Suzette is an incredible designer who has an amazing talent to create a beautiful home. We worked with Suzette through the entire two year construction process and she really kept us on track with the builder of our entirely custom home. She created a lighting plan and had fixtures ready, helped with details of our built- ins and other custom features such as trim, ceiling moldings, bathroom design and tile and flooring. All of that was invaluable in keeping the project moving. She made lovely pallet presentations of fabric and color to help us with decorating choices and creating flow through out the house. She has amazing taste and decorated the entire home including all furnishing, wall coverings, window treatments, flooring, hardware and accessories. She was always professional and fair. We felt she was completely devoted to the project. Her amazing work in our home has been featured in many magazine and book publications.

I have had the honor and privilege in working and knowing Suzette for many years now. We met on a mutual clients project and have worked on several since, along with becoming good friends. When I first think of Suzette, it is tough for me to decide what words comes to mind, it is her heart, kindness, teamwork, spirit, commitment, passion, humility, humble nature or just talents? Honestly, it is all the above, because they all shine through simultaneously. She is a pleasure to work and collaborate with on a project. Her work speaks for itself, which is tasteful, elegant, understated, well thought out and executed and finally functional. She truly puts her heart and talents into every project and client she touches. I admire her as a person and enjoy always working on projects together with her.
