Klaus and his team turned our house into a dream home we waited 17 years for! When we bought the house, I knew kitchen would be renovated someday. We moved in, got married, had 2 kids and managed busy jobs. Before we knew it 17 years flew by. While painful at times longing for that upgrade, on the positive side, we had plenty time to live and break just about everything in it with a growing family to know just what we wanted by the end. We had time to think, imagine, consult, re-think features, functions and form over the period where styles and trends came and went. When my husband retired and time had finally come, he went on the hunt to find the most important person/company for this entire project. We knew we wanted someone who was not only meticulously dedicated to the highest quality but help us design in 3D, re-imagine a completely different dining room, educate us on the selection choices of materials and colors, recommend trends and options, all the while being true to his/her word with integrity in every way. Klaus and his son Chris were all that and more. From day 1 of our meeting to the day they packed up their trucks and drove away, there was not a one single unpleasant word exchanged between us. Is that even possible??? But lucky for us it's true. Our project included gutting the kitchen, moving walls, breaking exterior wall for a larger window, relocating gas and plumbing and installing new everything including custom made cabinets and appliances. And that's only half of it. We added a one of-a-kind wall design in the dining room, a functioning bench, custom dining tables, and built-in wall unit of storage, counter top and glass-door hutch unit all the while replacing the flooring throughout the entire house. So, not a small project. To know that this was accomplished with the level of quality, care and attention to detail exceeded our expectations of the highest standards. They are prompt, responsive, knowledgeable, utmost experts... uncompromisingly dedicated to their word and quality. But beyond mastery in their craft, they are genuinely the warmest people. We researched remodeling companies for a long time before we chose Klaus and Chris to redo our kitchen. They did a great job and despite a few missteps, they redid the things that were mis communicated. Klaus is a perfectionist and very professional. Our cabinets are beautiful.

KG HomePro built a cabinet on an entire wall in my living room. It took just one day and a half. Not only were they professional and polite but the work was beautifully done. It was better than what i imagined it would be. They take a lot of pride in their work, and after seeing the finished product, I can understand why. I would not only recommend this company to family and friends, but I would hire them again if i needed additional work in my house. My living room has come to life with my new, fabulous wall. I absolutely love my new kitchen! KG exceeded our expectations! Wow! So happy! After researching for months and receiving many proposals, we hired KG HomePro Master Carpenters & Cabinet Makers. After many phone conversations and in person meetings with the owner, Klaus, he presented us with very detail oriented plans and drawings. This gave us the opportunity to visualize our new kitchen and make a few adjustments until it was just perfect. Klaus has built cabinets and designed kitchens so long, he is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful every step of the way. He will share his thoughts and opinions, but makes it very clear that it’s your kitchen and he wants you to have exactly what you want. I can’t think of one thing I wish I would have done differently. We made a great team and I have the perfect kitchen!!! Klaus and his son, Chris, are true master carpenters. The craftsmanship of their work is outstanding and I personally have not seen anything that compares. We love the quality of the wood (look and feel), the dovetailing, the soft close, the cabinet wire and all of the many extras. Klaus provided me with links to pick out the wire and hardware. There were tons of choices and it was just so easy to browse online. The inside of our cabinets are smooth and beautiful too. He was even able to match the stain on our island to our window trim stain. Truly impressive considering our recently added giant picture windows were trimmed out in red oak and he built our island out of cherry. It looks like a beautiful piece of furniture! We are thrilled with our cabinetry project by KG HomePro Master Carpenters and Cabinet Makers! They delivered a beautiful, quality show piece for us at a great price. When we moved from our ranch style home to a 4-story town house, we realized our biggest challenge was lack of storage. We contacted Klaus and discussed our situation. He listened to our ideas and produced sketches that would bring our project to life. Our art pieces, books, china and crystal are perfectly showcased and lit and it is fabulous! We enjoyed working with Klaus and hope to use him again, but there were a few deadline issues along the way. One suggestion would be to build some extra time into your deadline and understand that custom cabinetry takes time. We are extremely satisfied with KG HomePro Master Carpenters and Cabinet Makers and highly recommend them!

KG Home Pro designed, built and installed new cabinets for the remodel of my kitchen and performed all of the plumbing and electrical work. The cabinets are constructed of the highest quality materials and are finished like fine furniture. They reflect painstaking, impeccable craftsmanship. I appreciate the many ingenious details such as soft-close doors, large pull-out drawers in the kitchen island and near the kitchen sink and double-basket drawer. The owner and his son are individuals of the highest integrity who are committed to achieving perfection. They exceeded my expectations. We had a vision for a wall unit to replace 3 stand alone shelves in our dining room. With just a few words and measurements from us, KG Home Pro supplied a drawing that was exactly what we were looking for. Several weeks later the design was installed with lights and an outlet. It is a stunning and beautiful addition to our dining room set that was very closely matched in finish to our existing table and chair set. The mirrors in the back of the glass door shelves bring an open feeling to the room. The installation, including a separate wall switch to operate the lights in the unit was completed in one day.

After interviewing several guys, I was lucky to find Klaus Grote, a German Craftsman and Cabinet maker. He visited, we discussed the project which was to build an L shaped desk with hanging cabinet and separate file drawers. I theorized what I would want, from the surfaces to the lighting, keyboard mount, monitor mounts, maximizing the small space, everything. He measured, measured some more, and measured again. He then a week or so later sent me detailed computer aided design (CAD) which was really amazing as it put into 3d scaled pictures of both the room and the furniture what a thousand words couldn't have described. After we made a couple of minor adjustments to the drawings, he built it off site, kept me informed on the schedule, and installed it this week. I am thrilled. Its more than exactly what I hoped for. The result is nothing short of amazing, and the pricing is perfect. No BS, no shortcuts, no substitutions no add ons. This guy is a true European craftsman. If you are considering a project, kitchen, office, whatever.. you will do yourself a favor to visit with Klaus, who lives and has his shop in Magnolia. My wife and i had never undertaken a remodeling project before, so we were very nervous about selecting the right contractor and even moving forward after we had. We bid the job out to five separate companies. All of their bids were pretty ambiguous and it was hard to compare apples to apples. For whatever reason we got the idea to look up master carpenters in the area. KG popped up. After researching online, we decided to call them out. Upon meeting Klaus and hearing about his experience and committment to quality, we requested a quote. His quote came back very detailed and very specific. Because of how creative Klaus is and because the work he performs is all hand crafted, we were able to make additional changes and modifications to our plans prior him producing our cabinets. When demolition day came, my wife and i were very nervous. Again, this being our first home improvement project and not knowing what to expect. Looking back, it was so silly of us to be concerned. Klaus and his son handed the project with the utmost professionalism. We even felt so confident and comfortable with them that we would leave during the day and let them keep working and lock up when they were done. Needless to say, the work we had done (laundry room cabinets & sink, converted half bath pedestal sink to cabinet & granite counter, in-wall media cabinet and in wall media room wet bar) is outstanding. The craftsmanship is of the utmost quality. The new cabinets put my Kent Moore cabinets installed by the builder to shame. We've had several people over since project completion and everyone comments on the quality and beauty of the finished product. We are very satisifed. So much so, we feel like we have found our carpenter for all of our future home projects.
