About Us

Rod Pasibe is a Charleston-based photographer specializing in architectural, real estate, landscape and commercial photography. Newport653 has been in business since 1998, with roots in graphic design and product photography in Silicon Valley. Before moving to Charleston, the studio was located in Southeastern Arizona and serviced the design and photography needs of all major tourism, Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development organizations. Newport653 can capture the essence of any space with attention to detail of light, composition and artistic angles. Creativity, quick turnaround and exceptional client service is what you can expect from Rod and his business partner and wife, Tara Pasibe.

As Landscape Architects, the Pasibe’s hired us to design a backyard renovation for their home. We found them to be wonderful clients and people. Rod and Tara shot my daughter's wedding after she had researched numerous photographers. Their keen eye and work in wedding photography is frankly unsurpassed. Relatively speaking, they are new to the world of Architecture and Interior Architecture photography. I am so pleased they have entered that arena to offer the same stunning imagery they are able to create. Rod and Tara are close friends. It is one thing to be able to photograph beautiful spaces which they do very well. It is a far better photographer who can make the viewer feel the space. Commented: Windows - are the window grilles inside the glass or in the exterior?Per the architect: It’s both....simulated divided lite. Grill inside and out and interior spacer between panes of glass.
