We were absolutely delighted with the work that Ted did with us. We added an addition to our house, and his design was beautiful, blending so perfectly with the rest of the house that it looks like part of the original design. His work on the interior is similarly excellent: we have three new rooms that are efficient and beautiful and work well with our active lives. Ted is smart, thoughtful, professional, and timely. We would engage him for projects in the future, without hesitation.

Ted Whitten designed our remodel for a 140 year old home and barn in New England. The design was great. We wanted to keep the historical character of the home but also upgrade everything technologically. Above all, Ted is a fantastic communicator---he is lucid, proactive, and empathetic.

Ted is terrific at marrying styles and ensuring that the final project looks and feels seamless. Prior to renovation, our house was firmly in the 19th and 20th centuries - the original "middle" portion of house house was a barn dating back to the 19th century which had been updated in the middle of the 20th century, and included an addition from the 70's. Ted was able to help us think through the challenges while simultaneously respecting the integrity of the property as well as balance our own needs and wants. We are very happy with the results and are thrilled that thr home is now firmly in the 21st century!

Ted is extremely professional and thorough. I have worked with him on renovation projects on 2 different apartments in Manhattan. Both were well designed and planned and our family was thrilled with the results. Both projects had multiple unanticipated logistical issues come up that Ted handled with efficiency and confidence. Would highly recommend.
