My family has known the Terranera family for over a decade. Some might suggest that it's unadvisable to hire a friend for a remodeling job, but when it came time for our home addition/remodel we wouldn't have considered hiring anyone but the Terraneras. There are many reasons that hiring the Terraneras was an easy decision, but I'll share two. The Terraneras are a family of character. They value honesty and stand by their word. It's a wonderful thing never to have to question the integrity of your contractor. Additionally, the Terraneras are more than simply contractors. They are craftsmen; they are artisans. Every single person who visits our home comments on the beauty of the addition built by the Terraneras. Moreover, when people who work in the building/construction professions visit our home, they frequently comment that they admire the quality of the work done in our addition. Every interaction was professional and high quality. Sergio took all of our requests into consideration and produced a product that exceeded our expectations. They were timely, efficient, and communicated well the upcoming steps in the process. Although they were doing work within the house that we live, they were respectful of our safety, privacy, and were regularly present to respond to our questions or check on the work done by others. After completion, Sergio was available for any issues or questions. I would highly recommend them!

Terranera builders did an addition to our house and a renovation to the master bath. They were very professional, did a great job, and the project went smoothly.

I came into contact with Terranera Family Builders when I was relocating to Johnson City in 2007. They were in the process of building a spec house that caught our interest. After seeing the house and meeting with Sergio and Joe, we agreed to purchase the house, which was at the time about 80% completed. We had several changes we wanted made, and we were pleasantly surprised by their can-do attitude and creativity to incorporate our requirements into the finished house, even where it meant rework from the original design. Their quality of work, attention to detail, and reliability is outstanding. Any and all issues that came up during or after completion were promptly and satisfactorily resolved. I have no hesitations recommending Terranera Family Builders to anyone looking to build a new home, or remodel an existing home.
