Thai Garden Design

Ordered 2.5 cubic metres of garden soil. Truck arrived and dumped a huge pile of clay. It has been a week since and my messages to them are being ignored.

Bad attitude to customers. Ignoring commitments made. Failure to follow through on agreements. Repeated failure to meet deadlines. Rude and threatening behavior on the part of supervisory personnel.

We hired Thai Garden Design to design the layout for a 2 rai piece of land we had just bought. The initial design they sent took them 13 days and was a bit underwhelming. Something I likely could have done myself in a day. Maybe I'd set my expectations too high, not sure. Revisions then took another 21 days over the Christmas period. Finally, the tree and plant recommendations took another 10 days. We were going to hire them to do the actual work but going by their pace to get arguably the smallest job done, we decided to go with a different company.

First Class Service! As a US citizen I was concerned about a contractor who only spoke Thai. Not a problem for these guys, European/Thai management meant we had no problem communicating from the initial meeting, thru the design phase and up to completion. We even threw in a few curve balls by changing the specification during the build stage an reshaping/enlarging the pool but TGD took care of everything, pumps, filters and all landscaping.
