Kelly helped me piece together individual rooms one at a time starting with our deck, then the kitchen/great room and finished by remodeling two bathrooms. We started with a virtual meeting where we reviewed my goals for the different rooms and my general style esthetic. She then presented an e-design that showed me the space in 3D with various selections for me to choose from. Once I made selections, Kelly provided specific links through which I could purchase the pieces I previously selected. Once we got to the bathroom remodeling she even coordinated with my contractor to help them when they had questions. She took what could have been so complicated and daunting, and turned it into a fun and easy project. Can’t wait to do the next room!!

Kelly of The Design Bar Interiors came to our home back in March 2021. She stayed for several hours to view the space, measure, discuss our vision, and priortize our home renovation goals. In the end, Kelly provided expert guidance on a furniture layout plan in two rooms that each offered unique architectural challenges. We were also so grateful because she helped us select a neutral paint color (which could adjust to be warmer or cooler, since our design was not quite defined at the moment.) The paint color helped us get started on the right foot, providing the perfect canvas against our newly refurbished floors. Kelly is professional, relaxed, and has excellent design asthetic which made the process very fun! Furthermore, she was not swayed by trends; rather, she listened to our long-term goals and helped us achieve the first steps in planning!

The design bar came out to our home, and absolutely crushed. We are restoring a 100 year old colonial property and we wanted things to feel classic but modern the recommendations and layouts helped us tremendously!

We hired Kelly to help us design and source specific furnishings for three rooms of our newly purchased home; living and dining room, in addition to our master bedroom. Kelly’s streamlined end-to-end process supported in making our vision for each area become a reality! She takes the time to truly understand her client’s needs. We wanted a functional but stylish atmosphere in each of these spaces that reflects our current life; in the midst of raising three smaller children and cohabiting with my parents! Both the living and dining room are spaces frequently used by us and our guests, we often get feedback on our fireplace and the color choice! It is an inviting and cozy space. Kelly seems to have an eye for meticulous detail. We truly appreciated how Kelly uniquely included a special request (specific furniture piece) for my parents in our living room, with no hesitation! She takes pride in her work by asking purposeful questions and delivers final product/service with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. Kelly helped us design, decorate and stage a newly built , 5 bedroom, 3 level vacation home with multiple outdoor spaces including a pool, in Ocean City, NJ with results that far exceeded our expectations. She has an astute eye for color, style, comfort and functionality, yet was very budget conscious and always open to our input. I recently renovated my condo to prep for sale and utilized The Design Bar for appliance recommendations to maximize the space, design ideas that were spot on with current trends, color palettes that revitalized the interior, and staging ideas for showings.
