I cannot say enough good things about the work Sean Beardsley and his company, Beardsley and Sons, did on our home's exterior renovation. This was a massive project that took four months, and at every turn Sean and his crew were on top of it, skilled, knowledgable and honest. Sean knows his business and is the most communicative and forthcoming contractor my wife and I have ever worked with. He's a good guy who tells it like it is. In fact, his estimate for us is EXACTLY what the final cost turned out to be. And the project was completed only a couple weeks later than his predicted end date. When is the last time a contractor didn't stick you with "surprise" costs or disappear for a few weeks on another project to double the time your renovation was expected to take? I was in constant contact with Sean-- every text I sent, he responded to almost immediately. All of my dumb questions, he answered with patience and clarity. He had great, creative problem solving ideas that made the house look better and more up-to-date. His crew was so disciplined and respectful that we actually got compliments from all our neighbors about how kind and responsible they were! And the finished product? Absolutely awesome. We get stopped in the driveway by people walking by who pay us the most incredible compliments on the new look of our house. People on our block have already reached out to get the contact information for Sean and his company. Our project was a gigantic overhaul of our home that took the exterior down to the studs. So the initial estimate was large. And a little scary. But Sean worked with us to chisel it down as much as possible-- and promised that the cost was the cost, he wouldn't stun us with unexpected increases. Like I said, he was true to his word. I'd much rather know up front the real number, then get smacked week after week with shocking charges I didn't see coming. Every week, I reliably got an email from Sean with an updated receipt of the work that had been done as well as the cost. It made the whole experience so simple and easy. So I highly recommend meeting Sean and using Beardsley and Sons Construction, Inc. for your next project. Sean has a saying: "When we're done working together, I want you to want to send me a Christmas card." And yeah, he'll be getting a Christmas card this year.

Sean and his crew are the best! We have been working with them for over a decade now and happy each time we complete a project. They are reliable, punctual and VERY clean. No matter how big or small the project is, they will get it done professionally.

Sean stands out amongst his peers! Very responsible and always available for discussion. Most of his crew has been with him for years. I have never heard a "no" from him....always "let's see what we can do!"

Our master bath remodel was the second project that Sean has done for us. Extremely high-end work.. He is extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. His crew is able to do just about anything and are extremely helpful and accommodating. I would absolutely use him again.

Sean B is your go-to guy. You want it? He can do it. If he cannot do it, he will tell you. Ask 3 questions of the person you hire. 1) Do they have the experience and resources? aka hard-working humans who are skilled and dedicated; 2) Are they reliable and quality-focused to do the project to your satisfaction? and 3) Do they charge a fair rate? The contractor you choose has to be patient with their clients and be able to handle the surprises and add-ons that happen with projects. Sean is on-site daily to direct and do quality checks. He communicates well and confronts any issues that may come up. Sean and his team do a great job. They go the extra mile to always get it right. Sean has done several projects both inside and out in our home. He built a great outdoor space for us, has remodeled bathrooms, redone closets with space saving drawers and built a fantastic game room for my family. He is now in the process of upgrading all of our inside doors. Nobody better with the attention to detail. I recommend them highly!!

In the past few years we have used Sean Beardsley and his team on two major home remodeling projects. The first was a total cosmetic redo of living room, dining room, bedrooms and halls, including new plastered ceilings, new floors, new baseboards, crown molding and door molding and new paint. Sean also designed and built a custom built-in bookcase and fireplace mantle. The most recent project was a total kitchen and laundry room remodel, including new electrical panel and wiring, new custom cabinets and counter top, new floors, new pantry and all new appliances and sink. Both projects came in on schedule and on budget, and the end products exceeded our expectations. Sean and his professional team were a pleasure to work with! Sean's craftsmen and his subcontractors were all punctual, worked efficiently every day and cleaned up the work sites at the end of each day. I contacted Beardsley and Sons about adding a front deck and upgrading the back deck. With Sean's advice I have a beautiful banister and Trex deck. Couldn't be happier. As in the previous project the crew was wonderful and cleaned up daily. Would highly recommend Sean and crew.

Beardsley and Sons built a large deck at the back of my mountain cabin with special heavy duty, wide staircase and wide outer railing (which the bears climb over at will.) This area, right off the back door, opened up an additional 200 square feet of living space for guests. Next, Beardsley designed and built a lovely, massive river rock wood burning fireplace surround and stone sitting hearth, topped by a 12 inch deep, hand carved maple mantlepiece. Finally, Beardsley spent six short months demoing and remodeling a small 50's bungalow in Redondo Beach. This modern craftsmen now sports three huge skylights, a huge island kitchen, updated tiling, granite countertops in kitchen and bathroom, high ceilings and a new detached two-car garage with easy-accessed upper storage. Beardsley's knowledgable suggestions throughout helped produce a neighborhood showpiece and added significantly to the value of this property.

We hired Beardsley and Sons construction for our master bath/bedroom remodel. Sean and his team were great! He kept things simple, offered great advice, and completed the project on time and on budget. There were a couple unexpected situations as is the case with any remodel project, but Sean came up with great simple solutions. The quality of their work is top notch. Crew arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of each work day. I would highly recommend their team for your project.
