We were so happy to find Will and The Landing Company. Will helped us with the design phase of our main floor kitchen/dining/sitting room reno for our Craftsman style home. Really appreciated how he saw the unique character and beauty of our home and helped us to move towards the more contemporary look we were seeking. Planning and creating ideas with Will was fun and exciting- we loved the 3D images he provided with us that really helped us to visualize the potential options. Will brought us options we would never have considered on our own and helped us feel more confident about a process that can sometimes be overwhelming. The Landing Company offered us a full suite of services from drawings, to close supervision of contractors, to finished construction. They were gracious enough to allow us to stop at the drawings phase. They met with us on multiple occasions, fully understood our nuanced renovation vision, and provided us with lots of options to consider. We ended up with custom, permit-quality drawings, as well as 3-D renderings for our renovation. They were professional and attentive at all times.

He sought to understand our style preferences and then transformed these into design concepts that were creative and artistic. Will prepared our working documents - drawings, specifications and budget items and was instrumental in leading us to our contractor and cabinetry company, both of which have been excellent. He attended our ‘vetting meetings’ and translated our ‘lay’ language to ‘industry terms’ as needed. Our project is nearing completion now and it is exciting to see the realization of his imaginative design in our home. Will and his team invited my building company to collaborate with the client on their unique "Farmhouse Refresh" renovation project. Will's planning method and design experience was a huge part of the overall success of the project. The clients were able to easily weigh different options and make informed decisions concerning design and costs, and I found Will's weekly onsite progress meetings a great value over the course of the project, clarifying details or discussing how to approach the various nuances that are usually part of renovating in general and of a 100+ yr old farmhouse in particular. We hired The Landing Company to design and support us through a complete renovation of an old farmhouse. The project included gutting 100% of the house to the studs, rearranging the layout of the house, adding three dormers and an addition. There was no part of the home was not altered. All new electrical, HVAC, plumbing, insulation, drywall, etc. The results have been astounding. Will was able to guide us through a very complex project and support us through the unexpected curves that inevitably crop up in this type of project. Will is also a very kind and caring individual which brought great moral support when, at times, the project seemed overwhelming. He even found a use for some 1880's era wood that was reclaimed from the home, which was an important aspect of the project for us.
