A big thank you to Ben (Sensitive Information Hidden) and his team, Jonathan,Ben B, Mick, Nick and Beau for a wonderful renovation experience.LPC renovated our main floor which involved removing an interior wall and adding a new window in an exterior wall. A new kitchen was installed and brick fireplace was removed and replaced with a flush mount. Plumbing and electrical were reconfigured throughout it all. Ben kept us well informed, and was always accessible. He patiently answered and clarified any questions that we had. We knew in advance what work would be done that week. He and his team were very detail oriented, and that was evidenced by the excellent quality of the finished project. They often went above and beyond the scope of the project to ensure that a high standard of work was met. They were exceptionally neat, and each night would clean up as though they hadn’t even been there. Any issues/surprises, and there were only two, were dealt with quickly and very professionally. I can’t reiterate enough how very impressed we were with Ben’s professionalism, approachability and flexibility. He and his team are a credit to the construction community and embody the very high standards that should be common practice. We would have them back again with no reservation. Wonderful experience!!!! Had Ben and crew in for a major kitchen reno, which included a load bearing wall removal. LPC handled every aspect quickly and most importantly, correctly. Their attention to detail is astounding. Any problems that they encountered (state of our sub floor) were dealt with efficiently and effectively, with attention to our budget. Lpc's whole crew are friendly, funny and an absolute joy to have in your home. They made living in a construction zone for 8 weeks almost fun!!! I highly recomend LPC for any work you'd need done. From start to finish LPC Construction was fabulous to work with. Ben was excellent at communicating through all aspects of the job from the consultation to start date, during and even after the job was completed. All of the tradespeople that were in the house were very professional, excellent at trouble shooting, and pleasant to have in my home. Ben and his team went above and beyond to keep the job moving forward on schedule, traveling through terrible weather and bringing in extra people when needed. They also listened to my requests and made special custom pieces to fit what we wanted: a secure wooden insert in the wall to attach a shelf by our treadmill and a higher plug for the t.v., a built in "closet" in the guest room, special access hatches in the guest room for access to plumbing, building plywood walls in the laundry room for my shelving and screwing down the custom shelving, and a multi plug outlet where the larger t.v. will be. The attention to detail and to how we wanted to set up the space was greatly appreciated! When the company that did our flooring came in to install the flooring, the craftsmen reinforced my high opinion of the workmanship of Ben and his team. They were so happy to work in a space that had square walls! It made laying the floor much easier for them and it looked beautiful due to the straightness of the walls. Ben and his team are highly professional and do all they can to make sure you are happy with the result of the renovation. I am looking forward to having them back to do our bathroom in a couple of years. p.s. I apologize for the pictures as we haven't fully set up the basement yet, we're waiting on some furniture still. However, we do love the space and are getting use out of it already.

We recently completed a kitchen renovation partnered with Paragon Kitchens and LPC Construction. We could not be happier! Ben and his crew, Sean & Jim were amazing. There was constant ongoing communication, they were always on site when they said they would be and the site was always left in a tidy manner. Just prior to commencing our project, I made changes, I decided a wall needed to be removed…..I was a little worried how that would be received as there was a plan in place. Ben promptly assessed the changes, consulted an Engineer and quickly revised the action plan and made it happen all still within the scheduled time frame. Overall a positive experience and would highly recommend. Thank you LPC

LPC Construction worked with Paragon Kitchens to complete a full kitchen renovation over the Christmas holidays. Ben and his team did everything possible to minimize the stress and disruption on my family through the holidays. Ben and Sean have an excellent eye for details and are proactive and creative in solving problems as they arise. I have worked with several different contractors on various projects over the years and LPC is by far the best. Ben communicates clearly and frequently. His subtrades were excellent. I never had to worry because he is organized, on top of things and has a great attitude. The project took exactly the amount of time that they predicted even with delays due to weather and the Christmas holidays. I will definitely call LPC for my next project.

Ben & his team (Sean & Jono) were amazing to work with & we couldn't recommend them enough. We had a complete kitchen renovation where the kitchen & utility room were stripped right back to the shell then built back up. There were a couple of structural issues due to the age of our home but the team took it in their stride, repairing & adding supports where needed. Our home is an older home & most contractors balk at the thought of the work that would be involved in a project like ours but Ben & his team seemed excited to work on our home. The communication between Ben & ourselves was fantastic with updates daily about progress made. The end result is a beautiful kitchen & utility space. We will definitely be using the team again for future work on our home

We hired LPC Construction to build around our bland corner fireplace, creating a stone tile face with a rustic, thick old wood mantel. What a perfect job they did! Seriously. We enjoy the fireplace and the warmth it brings to our home every day. We are impressed with the precision and care they took to create a pleasing design with the challenging stone tile. They also went above and beyond minimal requirements to make sure the structure is solid and safe. We also hired LPC to paint, install pot lights, remove and install new bathroom fixtures, mirrors, and every project has been done with care, precision, craftsmanship and beauty. They always made sure we were happy with the process, progress and results. We are simply amazed and so refreshingly surprised at the quality of service and skill each member of this team brings to each day of work. We think this is quite rare these days. Highly recommend LPC.

If you have a Heritage home and wish to work with someone who understands old homes and how to work with them sympathetically, then Ben and his crew are for you. Our project was very complex, taking an unfinished uninsulated attic space on the 4th floor and creating a usable mezzanine space while opening up part of it to the 3rd floor below. It required removing a wall and a chimney that went through the space and was technically challenging from an engineering perspective as two balconies - one on the 3rd and one on the 4th floor - were cut into the steeply pitched roof space. Ben has fantastic communication skills, keeps everyone updated on the same page including the architect, trades and myself and works well with all. And their workmanship is excellent. All his crew were a pleasure to have on site.

The quality of the project was exceptional. Ben was always willing to discuss options and accommodate requests and preferences. He was patient with us at all times. He provided heads up about every stage of the project and well-written weekly status reports. He also billed exactly what he said he would bill. His sub-contractors were all well-selected and delivered quality work as well. When unforeseen circumstances arose, he provided clear, costed options. The team exercised the utmost care in all their work, and cleaned after themselves at the end of every day. We enjoyed working with Ben and his team so much that we didn't want them to leave. I was literally going through my head trying to find something else they could do.

I first started working with Ben on a traditional plaster project at the AGO - Grange House. We later worked on several home renovation projects of varying sizes. Throughout the construction Ben and his team were ensuring the Client's interests were met, and proactively building and planning for all the project details understanding that the smallest thing can affect the finished product. They are team players and were a resource for resolving unknown found conditions - they always had the design intent in mind and wouldn't opt for the easiest solution. I often pushed them to ensure the optimal end result for the Client and there was never a push back. The level of communication provided by Ben to the Client and Architect is some of the best I've experienced. I would recommend Ben and his team for your next home renovation.

I had the pleasure of working with The Lime Plaster Company as a millworker on a renovation project in an heritage house in Oakville where Ben Scott (owner) was the general contractor. Several things impressed me about the company. 1. The owner, Ben Scott, managed the project supremely. His communication about any issues that concerned me were timely and clear. Every tradesman knows how valuable (and rare) this is in a general contractor. 2. Ben maintains his presence on the job site, even while managing multiple projects. Further, he has forged a cohesive team that work well together and with any other trades on site. The atmosphere on the project is respectful, friendly, and collegial. Throughout a challenging project, during all my time on site I never observed or experienced a tense moment. 3. Their workmanship is flawless. The nature of my installation required Ben's team to prepare construction materials plumb and level over an 8 foot span and 18 foot height. As a millworker, it was pure joy (and relief) to install after they had finished, compensating perfectly for all the irregularities in a 150 year old house. The rest of their work was also pristine. As a perfectionist, I am impressed with the work of The Lime Plaster Company; and I am confident that anyone who experiences their work, whether as client or colleague, will be thoroughly satisfied. I hired The Lime Plaster Company to bring back my tudor style house to it's original charm. Since it was old material many companies were telling me to stucco over everything. I found that to be the wrong approach for a number of reasons and as such I searched for a historic approach. Ben and his team took the time to understand the project and scope it properly. A few surprises along the way were dealt with quickly and professionally. The ability to match the new work with the existing plaster was amazing and as such it allowed us to leave some old panels that were intact. Sean did the painted and all of the work on the timbers. I have never meet someone so detailed oriented. He ensured everything was perfect which was a nice change than most experiences. I hope to have the Lime Plaster Company do some more work on the house on the South wall which has the same issues. I will say if you want them be prepared to wait. We booked them a year ago for the work this summer. Quality companies are booked up so it validates how good they are.
