We just had the exterior of our home painted by The Village Painter. The team of painters did a superior job and we are extremely pleased with the results. In addition to being excellent painters with great attention to detail, they are extremely dependable and easy to work with. The job was completed on time and on budget! I have hired John Domjen and his crew over the past 14 years for interior and exterior projects in my home. Their work is always perfection. I recently had my living room and dining room repainted. They prep the walls thoroughly. My walls needed extensive cracks and plaster repairs. John is an expert at recommending the proper finish for the project. Everyone who walks into my home is amazed at the transformation and excellent workmanship. They also take great care in cleaning the job site everyday, which means so much when dealing with drywall or plaster. Very considerate of pets. I worked in the interior design field for 8 years and I am very fussy. They are outstanding and a joy to work with.

The Village Painter was a pleasure to work with! After we discussed the parameters of the project, I received a timely and detailed quote via email. They showed up exactly when they were supposed to.Tarps were laid down wherever they worked and I was kept informed of the status of the kitchen painting oroject which included all cabinets and walls. Everything was cleaned up nicely each day and at the conclusion. I would hire them again without reservation!

I called The Village Painter after seeing the truck in our neighborhood. John, the owner, called me back quickly and was able to come over to give us a quote within a day or so. It was for my 84 year old mother's house - which was last painted in the 1970's! There was quite a bit of patching to do in places, in addition to the painting. John couldn't have been any nicer or more professional and gave us a very reasonable quote. When it came time for the actual painting, he had three employees who were wonderful and went above and beyond what I would have expected. I had moved a lot of the things, but they moved all the furniture, some of the smaller boxes I hadn't gotten to yet, and even helped me figure out how to disconnect my mom's TV & cable. (Even more importantly, they hooked it all back up!) Once they had started I asked if they could add another room to the job and John and his crew were very accommodating. They cleaned up and tidied every night and finished in the 3 days John had estimated. John communicated regularly and was great to work with.

The Village Painter and his team are highly skilled professionals who care about their work. I was thrilled with the most recent job in November 2016: The bedroom was left in better condition than I started with and the outcome was outstanding!! They added a crown molding which was breathtaking and the final paint job has wowed the neighbors. John's advice is extremely helpful when I am not sure about some details, such as inside closet color or sheen type. The team painted the outside of our home: siding and trim, which included replacing several trim sides due to woodpecker and water damage. I love coming home every night and seeing a beautiful home. This is not the first job The Village Painter has done for us. The team has now painted every room of our home over the last 15 years and the outside of our home previously as well. Estimates from The Village Painter are fair and are accurate at the end of the job. I heartily recommend The Village Painter for all your paint jobs and related repairs without hesitation!

Our project with the Village Painter went very well. They provided an estimate that turned out to be very accurate. We contracted with them to paint our front entry way, including coat closet, front hallway, living room, dining room, back hallway, stairway to second floor, including banister posts, 2nd floor hallway, including linen closet, and all six panel doors as well as all woodwork, crown moldings and ceilings. This was a big job. John Domjen offered great advice on paint colors as the work began and progressed. The crew was excellent. They were prompt, pleasant and professional. There was attention to detail and they always ensured that the job was done right. Over the weeks the project went very smoothly. I hired John and his staff to repaint most the interior of our house over the winter, and as they did such a fine job, we hired them to do all the trim on the outside of the house. The Village Painter is the most professional, thorough, company I have ever used. They met every expectation and made sure we were content with their work. They are not cheap, but well worth the investment.
