We’ve worked with Peter, Emmanuel, and the Thrive team over the last two summers, and they have done some incredible work transforming our property. Our yard is steep and challenging and the projects have required extensive site preparation. The resulting masoned retaining walls, a walking path, and a flagstone staircase really tied everything together. Their hardscaping work has been extremely well done, but what has impressed us most is their ability to problem-solve. The terrain and access around our house have forced them to get creative at times, and they have consistently found thoughtful, practical ways to get the work done without compromising the finished product. The improvements have completely elevated our landscape and feel like they belong with the property rather than simply being added onto it. We’ve been very happy with the quality of their work and would absolutely recommend Peter, Emmanuel, and the Thrive team for challenging landscape and hardscape projects. We were really pleased with Peter and his team. Our project included building a couple of stone slab paths, including steps, arranging moss rocks around an existing bed and irrigation work. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Thrive was always professional, timely and quick to respond to questions. Emanuel and Hector were charged with revamping our irrigation system that another landscape company had planned poorly, and it will work so much better for our plants moving forward. I will be using Thrive for our maintenance landscaping as well as future projects. I’m feeling fortunate that we found them!

Peter and his team at Thrive Landscapes are incredible. Peter worked with us to design large-boulder landscaping to replace failing retaining structures that better fits our foothills setting. It was amazing to watch his installation team deftly & precisely install these half- to one-ton boulders. In addition, Peter and his team designed and installed a stone staircase, fire resistant deck & stairs to replace our old wood deck, a beautiful firepit concept that integrates with the rest of the landscaping, and a sand-finished concrete driveway (poured by his subcontractor). Needless to say, this was a large, multi-month project. Peter maintained great communication and took time to check and exchange ideas with us throughout. His installation team is hard-working, polite, careful, and always willing to discuss options and ideas. Peter and his team at Thrive have been a delight to work with and we strongly recommend them if you're looking for high-quality landscape design and installation.

We remodeled most of our home, and then xeriscaped the steeply sloping front yard as phase 2 of our project. Peter at Thrive was by far the most creative, responsive, and cost-effective contractor we worked with during the entire project. We received three bids for our landscape; Peter gave the best, most clearly itemized proposal and stuck to it very closely. There were almost no surprises. Peter was also low bid, but recommended and delivered retaining walls that far exceeded even the original designer's expectations. We got incredible, unique stone walls for less than other companies had bid out concrete block or timber. Peter priced all change orders very fairly, and his teams were always diligent and on time. Our xeriscaped yard was finished ahead of schedule and beyond expectations. Seriously, Peter turned our humble bungalow into a spa-like resort.
