My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Tom, Maria and Lee recently completed a complete update of our stairs, including all railings, balusters, treads, and risers plus some additional trim work on the second floor. Our stairs are prominently on display as soon as you walk through the front door, so it was important that the update achieved the look we wanted to compliment other renovations in our home. Tom and Maria took the time to explain the project, work with us on material and color selections, and schedule around other contractors doing related work in our house. They were always courteous, punctual, and an overall pleasure to work with. Most importantly, Thomas' craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. He was able to work around existing issues due to original construction of our house plus some less than ideal work from the other contractors involved in this project, creating a truly stunning staircase that is now the showpiece of our front entry. We already have plans for future projects working with this fantastic team.

Tom, Maria, and Lee just finished up a project for us and we were really pleased with all aspects of the work. They did several things including full refinishing of existing railings and trim, restaining and finishing, and creating new interior handrails to match. The refinishing was difficult work but it looks great. They were on-time, professional, friendly, and importantly for us, helped keep our house clean and dust free while they worked. We appreciated the up-front contract, and Tom was more than happy to go over all the questions we had before beginning the project. The cost was in line with what other contractors had estimated but they were able to get the project done in a much more reasonable time frame than what others had promised. And of course their work is really impressive. We would certainly recommend them for anyone doing carpentry-based projects; we will certainly call them back for future projects!

If you live in the eastern PA-NJ area and are looking for a craftsman for your stairs, look no further. Thomas combines outstanding craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer service all in one. Craftsmanship and attention to detail: He spent a full day at our 90+ year-old home installing a new railway system of oak and iron, taking his time to ensure each element was perfect. Perfection is harder to do in an older home with "preexisting conditions". Customer service: When we realized that at the top landing one of the two posts we had purchased was the wrong design, he quickly offered to return and install a replacement when it arrived. He did that yesterday, just like he said he would, and never even mentioned charging us for the return trip. The staircase looks stunning and it was a true pleasure working with Thomas. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found him through houzz and would recommend him immediately.

TJ and his colleague performed an excellent job on replacing a stretch of handrail that was threatening to fall apart. They removed the old handrail, installed/stained the new one (the right way), and bagged/organized the old material for me to discard. The end result simply spoke for itself. TJ offered excellent value and quality service. 10/10 will revisit again (for another job!).

Commented: French door leaking on new buildWithout physically being there it would all be a guess. With that said Flashing could be the culprit. But most likely because you are also getting water in the middle you are looking at miss-alignment...
