Bayless Architecture

My husband and I decided we wanted to build an in-law unit in Santa Cruz. We hired Todd to be our architect. Todd had so many great ideas for the in-law. We talked about using part of the existing home, Todd came up with a much better solution, one that saved us money and it was more isolated for privacy. He also helped us have high functionality/flow with our design. We get so many compliments from our guests! Additionally he made the permit process in Santa Cruz County seem easy. He was always responsive, on time, professional and honest about the entire process. Highly recommend Todd as your Architect!

His is passionate about design and architecture which he brings into his style and works. His ability to adapt to existing design and architecture is excellent, and his been deeply involved in architecture design and code review.

I have worked with Todd as a structural consultant on multiple projects over the last 10 years and have enjoyed the process every time. His designs take into account the clients wishes while also keeping in mind constructability. I really appreciate the level of detail that goes into his plans, as it makes my job much easier. He is able to collaborate with the design consultants and contractors to come up with solutions that works for everyone. Successful projects are lead by great architects and Todd is a great architect.

Todd did a masterful job of designing our dream home in El Dorado Hills. He listened to our needs and concerns and designed a home that works beautifully and makes the most of our unique views of the region. We were impressed with his attention to detail and the way he worked with all the other design consultants. Our friends love our home and recently hired Todd to design their new home.

I have worked with Todd from Bayless Architecture on 2 ADU projects and would highly recommend him. He is fast with his work, very attentive, and does the research about city regulations. Working with him made getting my plans approved through the City a breeze with minimal corrections. A++
