Jessica and Virgina were absolutely fantastic and have turned my apartment into a home. After the work they completed, I love entertaining, showing off where I live, and just being home. As a general contractor working in NYC it's always a pleasure working with people who know their business, who know what to order, who know what will fit and work in a particular application. Jessica and Virginia are an amazingly talented team. They have wonderful, fresh ideas and are extremely creative. They know how to maximize the use of all space, which is crucial in NYC apartments. Most importantly, they are client-focused and customer service-oriented! You don't see a lot of that these days. They don't impose their ideas, but use their knowledge and know-how to achieve the client's dreams, all while sticking to the budget and deadlines. Our project was a gut renovation of a 2 BR, 2 BA apartment with many challenges and they could handle any curve ball that came our way in a calm, productive manner. I was most impressed at how well they interfaced with our contractor and other vendors, and always found workable solutions to ever problem we needed to resolve. And, the end results speak for themselves. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Virginia and Jessica were incredible to work with. I was looking for designers that I could trust, that I enjoyed spending time with, and who were available and responsive to all my questions. I thought that process was so fun because they listened to me and they knew what they were doing. They seem very respected in their field and knew all the places to take me to see furniture etc. They were completely professional every step of the way. I have recommended them to all of my friends who come over and love how they have decorated my home!

We met Virginia and Jessica from 810 design group because they were part of the team that did our entire apartment renovation 7 years prior to our purchasing the apartment and one of the contractors informed us that they started their own business. Our project included every room in the apartment. We were moving to NYC from central London so had an eclectic mix of furnishings but not cohesive. They pulled together fresh lovely fabric, exceptional wall paper, completely redid the floor plan fitting in a grand piano and custom furniture, that they designed and had made. Their eye for detail included unique trims, paint colour, creative use of space and it was entirely pleasant. We had pieces of furniture that were non negotiable and they incorporated them into the design. The furnishings they selected were solid and really pulled the apartment together. The piece de resistance was visiting the Niermann Weeks show room, selecting this 'wow factor' chandelier then Jessica convincing the show room manager to sell that piece to us and in 30 minutes her contractor had taken it down from the show room and it was up in our living room. It would have taken any other designer months to get that. My other favourite phone call was from Virginia when we were in Hawaii on vacation recommending we paint our kitchen chocolate brown (instead of white). We gulped but went with her bold choice and every time I walk into the kitchen I have to smile, it looks so good. They also painted our formal living room mantle piece navy blue - unexpected but it works.

We wanted to transform the typical white cold new condo space into a warm, cosy, functional and full of characters space of retreat that we could truly feel at home. The partners are extremely sweet to work with from the get-go. They're very professional, creative, resourceful and yet flexible, putting the client's likes and interests at the heart of their design work. We were very engaged throughout the project, and felt both at ease and empowered same time as we've been presented with detailed design plan, drawings, budget tracking/design progress sheet and an open mind to incorporate our specific design ideas and tastes. They are very responsive to help address any of our issues or concerns not only in the project phrase, and still are now 5 year later to help take care any of the repairs and issues that pop up long after the project is finished. Would highly recommend ID 810 and partners whole heartily!

We recently joined up for the first time with Jessica and Virginia on a single family townhouse remodel in Hoboken, NJ. The project consisted of moving the kitchen from the ground floor to the parlor floor, adding a full bath on the parlor floor where a closet once stood, opening up and creating new passageways, installing crown, chair rail, and picture moldings throughout the home, installing all new mechanical systems, adding central air, new on demand hot water, upgrading the electrical service to the home, pouring a new ground floor concrete floor slab, creating a full bath, a guest bedroom, a man retreat all on the ground floor, moulding restoration, detailed paintwork, plasterwork, new stairs, and much more. This was a very challenging project since the owners lived in the home during the 6 month renovation. Due to the expertise and onsite assistance from id 810 design we never lost a day waiting for design decisions or special order materials and fixtures. We never had to ask the owner where anything went or what color to paint anything. Not only did the design of the project come out perfectly but working with the design team worked perfectly. We are now working on a few more projects with id 810 and look forward to working on many more, I highly recommend Jessica and Virginia when looking for a totally professional design team. Not only do they know how to design beautiful spaces, they also know how to work with contractors and suppliers.
