After much hesitation and angst in making the investment to build a pool, we finally decided to pool the trigger in the summer of 2022 at the tail end of Covid. Being slightly overwhelmed with different designs and construction methods involved in the pool build process, we looked to friends who had previously had pools built for guidance. One thing became clear quickly is that we fell in love with designs and layouts that a few of our friends had. The one thing they had in common is that all of them used Total Pool & Patio. in a time where it seems customer service is lacking and overall pride in craftmanship has waned, it was refreshing to see that there is still a company that is committed to these values. From the moment I met Tom and his team, I knew we had made the right choice. Tom's passion and excitement for Pool building is unparallel. This same passion is also shared by his whole team. Total Pool & Patio treats every pool like their own, from the build process to servicing. We wanted a pool, but our yard was built more for downhill skiing, so the question came, "Do we move?", but we absolutely love our house. Everyone who came over, stood in our yard and said..."There is no way you are getting a pool in that yard." Enter Total Pools into the chat...From the very start Tom was amazing; he walked us through everything, gave options, and made us feel totally comfortable. He genuinely cared about addressing our concerns, meeting our requests, timelines and answering all our questions (there were many, many, of those!) His design was impeccable and was perfectly matched to our vison, only 100X better! From the start of the project I could tell they were the right company for us. His crews were amazing, on time, professional, clean and master craftsman's. Shoutout to Dave Roller, Walter, Rene and Paul! This was truly just the beginning, it was not just a pool install, it was a total property transformation....our kids now have a yard, a place for their playset and an entire open area that was previously unusable woods. Tom and Andrea kept us up to date throughout, their son Tommy was heavily involved (love the family aspect too) and just as amazing to work with. We could not be happier with this company, the pool and our new yard...we 1,000% recommend. We are never moving!

Total Pool and Spa built a custom pool and spa in my backyard. I interviewed many different companies before deciding to hire Total Pool and Spa and they were the only ones that understood i wanted more than just a pool, we wanted outdoor living space. Our backyard was a challenge and Tom and his crew were always professional and were very flexible to changes made to the original designs as the work progressed. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly custom pool or spa.

We thought we had a complicated site - rock ledge, hill side, trees and a space limitation but Tom saw through it all! He made many trips in the rain, snow and sunshine walking our property and thinking about how he was going to design something that we would love. He shared so many of his visions and gave us many option to choose from and why we should choose certain ones such as the LED lights that can be controlled from your phone. And the fire balls, a must have! He was exactly right and is such an expert! Our pool is used more than just for function but for it's beauty. He created an infinity edge which looks like the pool is a continuation of the lake. It is beautiful! Tom is passionated about his work going above and beyond and treats you like your pool is the best one he has done. We love our pool and our experience working with Total Pool and Spa!

Like most homeowners who make the decision to install a pool, I knew little about the process, material, costs and what to expect. Our choice was based on feedback we received from other clients .. all consistently positive, high quality, creative and passionate. When I first met the owner, Tom Santella, I wasn't sure. Tom explained every aspect of the process, in great detail and with passion. At first I thought he was just trying to make the sale. But I learned over time, it's the way he is. He loves his craft, is creative, visionary, smart and has an eye for design. He and his crews are professional, knowledgeable, neat, creative and respectful. Every aspect of the project was carefully planned and executed. I was impressed with the quality of his workers and sub-cons. All high quality, experienced and interested in building great pools. Tom is a family man, his wife and sons are all part of the business, all knowing their craft, experts at what they do. I recommend Total Pool & Spa. We could not be happier with the pool that Total Pool & Spa built for us. The owner, Tom, is a pleasure to work with. He is as passionate about our pool as we are. We worked collaboratively through the design process. Besides being a pool builder, he is an artist that brought great ideas. He is able to look at a site and imagine what it could become. Our site had some constraints (property and septic setbacks). He brought ideas that other builders did not that ultimately allowed us to have the pool that we wanted. The building process went smoothly. Any time that there has been an issue, Tom addresses it quickly and to resolution. Now that our pool is complete, their great level of service has continued to the ongoing maintenance of our pool. We highly recommend Total Pool & Spa to anyone considering a pool.

Total Pool & Spa designed and built a beautiful, elegant and fun pool in our back yard. The entire process - from design phase to winterizing and covering - was a pleasure. Tom Santella has a gift for design and an ability to look at your yard (space) with a vision that is amazing. I hired Total Pool and Spa to build a pool and spa in my backyard. Their deep experience in pool and spa building enabled them to work with a challenging site with respect to property lines, septic and ledge. Their vision and artistry in designing and building the pool is second to none. The result is a free-form lagoon pool (approx 42 x 20) and spa built into the ledge. The ledge was left exposed leaving an unbelievable visual affect. The raised, custom spa holds nine, has a therapeutic deep well and spills into the pool. The two-level stone patio is gorgeous (1300 sq ft), complete with custom fire pit. All features: pool, spa and fire pit are completely automated with an inside touch screen and outside hand held device. The entire project was clearly articulated from the outset. The project was started in September to allow us to be in the pool by May. The owner of the company was on-site every day to ensure the project was successful, and answer all my questions. This also facilitated some modifications that I made during the process. All paperwork for the entire project was clear and timely. The owner also served as an adviser and provided excellent referrals for other contractors I needed to complete other facets of the overall back yard project, but were not in his scope. This was a huge help. Aside from the rare combination of pool building expertise and artistry, potential customers should select Total because they simply love what they do for a living. The owner simply says he wants to deliver the product and experience in a way that makes the customer smile. I'm smiling!

Built a pool house for Total Pool and Spa. They ran the job site very well. All layout and excavation was done by them, with no problems. Tom Santella was there every day to make sure everything ran smoothly. The finished product was amazing, due to their design, would definitely recommend them for any pool project.
