Toulmin Design was fantastic at designing my dream kitchen and laundry room. They successfully incorporated our wishes into a modern updated kitchen. We did a considerable amount of research looking for the right design and cabinet for our kitchen remodel. Quality, i.e. solid construction of cabinets, good customer service and a designer who could help us with a useful design were all important. Toulmin fulfilled this prerequisite flawlessly. Our designer Mary Lauda Corwin presented practical and sensible ideas. In addition, her communication with us was superb concerning timelines during the entire installation process. If anything changed or as we had questions along the way she got back with us timely and stayed on top of things from beginner to end. The cabinets we purchased through Toulmin were from Shiloh and every detail, including joints, frame construction, and finish was beautiful and will provide a long time lasting finish. While the appearance of the cabinets was important, installation was equally essential. Toulmin’s installer Norm Miller, took considerable pride in his work and paid attention to every detail to ensure things were level, and all molding and trim work was completed professionally. Countertops and tile work also were professional and only added to the quality work done that preceded the counter top and tile installation. I am not one to be shy if I think work is not being done properly or if there is poor communications “after the sale”; I will freely express myself. Thus, any reading this should know that I do not strive to write favorable reviews unless I think they are genuine. Toulmin came through on all fronts for us. The Toulmin folks, including owner Jay Young made frequent drop bys to view the work along the way to be sure everything was done well, including things that we may not have considered. Toulmin has our recommendation hands down.

Our cabinets and counters have just been installed, so this may be slightly premature as a review for our overall experience, but we enjoyed and were please with our design sessions, our designers, and overall staff interactions. The product installed is beautiful and we are expectantly looking forward to living in the home shortly and utilizing all of our new kitchen space! As a customer I could not recommend Toulmin any higher. You'll be pleased.

From design to checking-in after we've had a chance to settle into the new space, everyone we dealt with at Toulmin was amazing! The job: They gutted and rebuilt our kitchen, tiled most of the first floor, made built-in bookshelves, and created new entryways to make our first floor brighter and more open. Toulmin: Their designer created the blueprints and then Toulmin handled everything. Drew and Michael supervised the job and were always available to answer our questions. Their workers came when they said they would, and were always courteous. Their high level of professionalism was an extremely pleasant surprise. I had high expectations for what I wanted the finished space to look like. Toulmin work and the finished product could not have been any better. In addition, they finished the job on-time and within the agreed-upon budget! I look forward to working with them when we renovate our bathrooms in a couple of years.

We moved into our new home in January of 2016. Toulmin Cabinetry and Design did a fantastic job designing and installing our cabinets in the kitchen, bathrooms, and master closet. We could not be happier with the results. We provided Jay and his team with inspiration pictures and they took our dream and made it a reality. Their attention to detail was amazing. Everything turned out exactly as promised. During the planning stage, questions or concerns were responded to immediately via text, email, or by phone. We love everything they did in our home and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering building or remodeling. We would enjoy working with them again and again.
