Touzet Studio

Touzet Studio is an award-winning architecture and interior design firm founded in Miami in 2004 by Carlos Prio-Touzet and Jacqueline Gonzalez Touzet, two Cuban American architects who grew up in this city and have spent twenty years building work that belongs to it. Led by the 2024 AIA Miami Sustainable Architect of the Year and recognized as AIA Miami Firm of the Year, we specialize in luxury residential architecture, custom home design, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse across Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, and South Florida. We design both architecture and interiors, one integrated vision from concept through every material detail. We take on a limited number of projects each year. Every commission is a unique collaboration: a courtyard house in Coral Gables that traces its typology back to colonial Havana, an oceanfront residence on Miami Beach designed for the climate that is coming, a historic Pancoast-era home preserved and expanded with a contemporary addition. No two projects look alike as no two clients have the same obsession, and we go all the way into each one. Our work has been recognized with the AIA Florida Historic Preservation Award (Barbara Baer Capitman Award), AIA Miami Design Awards, and the Hispanic Heritage Architecture Award. Notable projects include the Nike Flagship Store and Apple Store on Lincoln Road, Grove Central (2025 ULI Project of the Year Finalist), and private residences on Miami Beach's Billionaires Row which includes a Pancoast-era home that resold at a Miami Beach inland lot record.
