Much like the decorator himself, John Murphy's interiors are fresh, personal and never formulaic. Often borrowing from his own collection of found treasures, John's affinity for the past creates a warm, evocative atmosphere throughout his ever present, modern and distinctly American interiors. John has called the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard his home for over twenty years. In 2010, John and his business partner Helen Koch moved into a 1920's shingled building on the edge of Edgartown's village and threw open the old barn doors to Tracker Home Decor. The full service design team occupies the loft, and the retail shop bustles below. John's range of work is as varied as the client's he serves and projects often take him up and down the east coast and beyond. John continues to grow his business through his unwavering commitment to his clients' happiness, his passion for beautiful design and a healthy work ethic.
