I believe the best kitchens and bathrooms are more than beautiful spaces—they are the backdrop for everyday life. As an award-winning designer with more than 24 years of experience, I specialize in creating thoughtfully designed kitchens, bathrooms, and custom living spaces that blend functionality, comfort, and timeless style. As Co-Owner and Principal Kitchen & Bath Designer of Hermitage Kitchen Gallery, I have the privilege of helping homeowners transform some of the most important rooms in their homes. Whether it's a complete renovation, new construction project, or custom cabinetry design, my goal is to create spaces that reflect each client's unique lifestyle while making the design and construction process enjoyable and stress-free. My design philosophy is simple: great design should be beautiful, practical, and tailored to both the way you live and the investment you want to make. I enjoy working in a variety of styles—from classic and traditional to clean-lined contemporary—and believe every project deserves a customized approach. Over the years, I have been honored to receive industry recognition for my work, but the greatest reward has been earning the trust of my clients. Terri helped from the beginning on our project. We had multiple meetings with her including a home visit. She listened to our ideas and came up with exactly the products and materials we were looking for. Terri was instrumental in the design. She created detailed plans down to electrical placement, height of fixtures, air return changes and even direction of doors. She also helped solve placement with plumbing as this was a complete gut and remodel. Terri created plans that made the job easy for our contractors. They were clear and concise and easy to send electronically. She even helped with getting the best price for our orders through Hermitage Lighting. She coordinated everything from HLG and connected us with other personnel there when necessary. Terri is great to work with. She is friendly, caring and really listens to the clients to create exactly what they want. I had a great experience with Terri and everyone at Hermitage Lighting Gallery.

We used Terri Sears at Hermitage for a turnkey kitchen renovation and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She created a new footprint for our kitchen that exceeded our expectations. The new space is light and airy and, most importantly, functional. In a time of supply chain disasters due to COVID, Terri kept our project on budget and on time and delivered on all of our "must haves". She listens to her clients and works with you until the design is perfect. Our renovation brought us a stunning kitchen with better flow, more light, a fabulous pantry, and an island that is perfect for hosting parties. We highly recommend Terri and will definitely use her services again.

Terri Sears designed our condo to provide maximum function and comfort as we downsized to our “retirement” home in the city. Terri guided us through an extensive remodeling journey. She gave us unique as well as practical choices for design and materials. Terri was always available whenever we had questions or concerns during the remodel. She and her team were very hands on and worked closely with our contractor to make sure the installation went well. All their deadlines were met even though it sometimes meant extra time on the job and the results exceeded our expectations. My husband and I love our new home! We appreciate the kindness, expertise and integrity Terri brought to the process.

Remodeling both our guest and master bathrooms with Terri was a fantastic experience! She was very conscious of our budget and timeline, helping us to make choices that fit within both. Through Terri's guidance, we always felt as thought we knew our options without feeling overwhelmed by them. Once the work started, we didn't have to worry about anything, knowing everything was being taken care of by Terri. The work was completed within budget and the expected timeline. We are so happy with the results! Our guest bathroom appears and feels much bigger and more welcoming even though we kept the same footprint. We wanted a spa like feel in our master bathroom and Terri definitely achieved that, with little details that wouldn't have thought of yet really make a difference. We absolutely love feeling like we're going to a spa every morning, making for a more relaxing start to our day.

It was a pleasure working with Terri and her team to design and install a kitchen, butlers pantry, laundry and library at our new custom built home out in the country. In particular, her excellent design skill and suggestions to improve our architect's initial work has resulted in a very efficient kitchen. Many guests have commented on how easy it is for two or three people to work simultaneously. The library design and layout is particularly stunning. Her install team was efficient, professional and courteous throughout the nearly month long install. We also love the Mouser cabinets she selected. They are of the utmost quality. I would highly recommend Terri and her team to anyone looking for excellent design, craftsmanship and professionalism - something hard to find these days.

I could go on and on about how wonderful Terri is and how pleasant she made our kitchen renovation process! Her years of working knowledge about the design and construction process instilled confidence from the very beginning. She listened to our wants and needs for the space and incorporated them into the design plan, adding in her own ideas to make it the perfect kitchen for us. Terri and her team at Hermitage have been wonderful to work with on our kitchen renovation. Starting with the design, Terri's insights have been valuable in providing a more open and up-to-date look and feel (without the expense of removal of a load-bearing wall). Terri is a magical unicorn of a human. She was an incredible design partner, curious and committed to finding materials, colors, and layouts that were true to my personal style. She was so easy to work with and offered so many great creative and inspiring design elements into the space. It's been almost a year since the project has been complete and I love my kitchen just as much as I did the day it was finished. The balance of the olive green lowers with the walnut island is serene and grounded. Look no further for a designer...Terri's the jam!
