We can't say enough good things about Wende Woodworking! Thad had a vision (even when we didn't) and the group of people he put together to complete our project was amazing. His coordination and adaptability on our project were invaluable. So far, Wende Woodworking has done a lot of incredible work for us in a short time frame. They have built a downstairs bar & entertainment area for us, remodeled several bathrooms, and did a major renovation of our kitchen. His crew handled all of the unexpected issues that came up professionally and competently and even when the issues were beyond the scope of the project, he quickly arranged additional contractors to keep the project going. We appreciated his communication regarding timing and scheduling, and the detailed cost projections and invoices were straight forward and timely. The expertise Thad and his crew shared with us made our house feel like a home. We wouldn't hesitate to use Wende Woodworking again!

At first we chose Thad and Wende Woodworking, LLC for our kitchen and family room cabinets because they build quality, fabricate the countertops and install all their cabinets, the complete deal.. As we progressed through the planning process with Thad, we found him to be very easy to work with, had good suggestions and followed up. Now that our installation is complete and we have lived with his cabinets, we have become even more appreciative of the build quality, precision and perfection of installation of his cabinets. Our build and installation had some challenges and the end result was beyond exceptions. Wende Woods is an excellent upper-end cabinet builder who I would gladly recommend..

Thad is the best! He is so creative when coming up with a plan. He is also a good listener and eager to please. Additionally, the quality of the cabinets is excellent as well as the attention to detail during installation. We could not be happier with our cabinets and Wende Woodworking!

I can’t say enough positive things about the work done by Thad and his crew at Wende Woods. The careful attention to detail is second to none and he had wonderful idea about making the best use of bathroom, kitchen and pantry spaces. There might be others who would try to match his expertise; but if you want beautifully designed and built cabinets look no further.

Although our project got pushed back several times and did not get completed as soon as we had originally been told, it was worth the wait! We are extremely pleased with the design, quality of workmanship, and installation of the final product.

Thad and his crew absolutely helped transform my kitchen into a space I never imagined! When beginning this major renovation, my designer friend whom I was working with told me “the only person in this area who will exceed your expectations is Thad Wende of Wende Wood.” That was an understatement! Thad and crew were professional, conscientious and extremely detailed oriented. This project was completed in April of 2021 and I am so apologetic that I have not written this review before now….I have just been enjoying my new kitchen!!!!!

Thad and team did amazing work for our kitchen remodel project. He was great at keeping us updated on timing and project updates. We are very happy with his attention to detail and craftmanship to make some of our more unique spaces outfitted to match the cabinets we ordered. Thad and his crew were wonderful to work with for our kitchen remodel. We utilized them for our cabinets and countertops. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is top of the line. Our project involved a complete redesign of our eat-in kitchen, family room and laundry room. Unlike some other companies, Thad and his team took the time to visit our home, draw up a plan and give us an estimate without asking for any money up front. Compared to other ‘custom’ cabinet manufacturers, Thad was truly custom in that he was willing to build things for us based off of a picture or verbal description. In doing this, we were able to make the best use of the space in our older home. He also offered ideas that ended in an attractive layout because he is not just a woodworker, but has a real eye for design and symmetry. The finish on the cabinets is durable, yet silky smooth and the walnut butcher block topped island is a warm and lovely centerpiece in the kitchen. The deep drawers are sturdy and much more functional than what we had before. All in all, Thad was great to collaborate with and his team paid close attention to detail. We are very happy with the end product and have already recommended him to friends and family who are planning projects.

Thad was very easy to work with and understood the concept we had in mind for our unique project starting with the first meeting.
