Texas Best Fence & Patio

I contacted Texas Best Fence & Patio because I saw their website and all the reviews. Once I saw the photos of their work I was pretty certain I wanted to hire them. Andrea came out to do an estimate and she answered all my questions and didn't push anything or try to oversell me. Actually, she was pretty honest about what would look best at what height. After getting the estimate, I talked it over with my wife and knew this is the best quality fence out there so we agreed to move forward. I used their financing through Wells Fargo which was a breeze to set up and I got 18 months interest free which is a great value! On the day of the installation, Ishmael & Eduardo showed up bright and early and GOT TO WORK! They demoed my old fence, poured the footings for the new posts and put up nearly all the boards in 1 DAY! They only had to come back on the 2nd day to finish the front part and do the top cap. They are INCREDIBLY efficient and PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL! I AM THRILLED with the result! I have the best fence in the neighborhood BY FAR and it will last me years and years because of the materials they use. This is honestly the most happy I've been with any work done at my house since I've owned it. You get the A+ team, and they know how to build great fences! I can't recommend Texas Best Fence & Patio enough, they exceeded my expectations!

We hired Angela and Texas Best Fence and Patio to replace our fence. Their craftsmanship is unmatched. The talent they have is simply the best. Several of our neighbors saw the quality and hired them as well. We hired them again to replace our electric gate with a custom design. Again, exceeded our expectations! Angela has an eye for design. She helped us design the gate, custom shutters and a window box to elevate the exterior our home. BEAUTIFUL! We are currently working with her to design an outdoor kitchen and pool arbor. Don't hesitate one minute to hire this amazing company and their team!

We had a wonderful experience with Texas Best Fence & Patio! From start to finish, Greg ensured that the process was positive and seamless. We are very happy with the work completed and were impressed with each crew that helped in the process. We will recommend this company in the future!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience using Texas Best Fence & Patio and I believe that it was almost entirely due to the personnel we worked with. Our project manager, Dustin Evans, was unhelpful and rude throughout the whole process. From the very beginning he acted like a simple repair job was not worth his company’s time. Regardless, we contacted them to repair our gate that would not close and now it looks worse than it did before the repair. The first time they did the job they put on sister rails that looked unprofessional and did not extend across the entire gate at the bottom, the stain didn’t match our fence, and the hinge that “repaired” the gate didn’t actually get it to close properly. The workers tried to call Dustin to ask questions about the project but couldn’t get ahold of him. When we contacted Dustin about it, he acted as if we were just overexaggerating and said he would get to it when they had time but they were now busy with other jobs. He also told us that the gate would never close properly so we should be happy with what we got. He also said that they would not be fixing the sister rail that was initially installed and we could just be satisfied with how it looked. Someone did come back one morning totally unannounced to re-stain the fence and tighten the hinge. They used the correct stain but they were clearly in a hurry because it was missing in parts and runny. The hinge fell off the gate entirely less than a week after the job was completed and I had to fix it myself. Our fence would have been better off if we had never contacted them to do this job in the first place. Update: The president reached out to me after posting my original review and agreed to fix the original work in exchange for an update to his review score. He walked the property with me, made a list of our concerns, and made sure the job was done the right way. Updated review from 1 to 4 stars.

REVIEW UPDATE: After blasting angry, frustrated reviews all over the internet and reaching out to the owners of the company myself (**TAKE NOTE THAT I APPROACHED THEM, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND**) I was handed off to a very personable gentleman, Colby, that did make a great effort to appease me. I'll happily buy him a beer for being friendly, but in the end we experienced more rounds of bad intercompany communication. Their work 'crew' arrived in an unmarked vehicle, unprepared and uninformed. He make multiple rounds of coming back on multiple days. To state the obvious: this is an inconvenience. Our renter was told by the worker what the final plan was to complete the job. That list of items is still not completed. The list of items that was communicated to me, however, has been completed. I'm done wasting my time on this project. While friendly did help it, by no means, left me a desiring to go through this again. Colby, I owe you a drink. Thanks for your continued effort, if only your whole crew worked so hard at customer service.

They did a great job on the actual patio structure. Looks great and well designed, and the put it up in a timely fashion. The concrete on the other hand - it did not get poured for about 3 weeks after the date I was told it would go in. Also, they ended up putting down the wrong pattern - we had selected the natural stone pattern, but the yorkstone pattern went down instead. We ended up liking the yorkstone more, thankfully. Also, the concrete crew did not clean up so had to clean the back windows to get off all the "glaze finish" and also all of our patio furniture to get rid of the splats of concrete. All in all, I would hire them to put in a patio structure, maybe look elsewhere for the stone?

They did a great job and were very timely!! When they came back to restain an area of fence we did not have them replace, I asked them if they could expedite the process, as I was about to put my daughter down for a nap. They really did do a great job and very quickly. Thanks so much!!
