We just wrapped up a 5-month 1400-sq ft gut renovation of our Sutton Place coop in Manhattan. While our architect and general contractor managed most of the sub-contracting work, we worked with Anthony Perez on all things kitchen, countertop, windowsill and bath tiles.
First impression about Anthony is that he is extremely responsive, professional and easy to work with. As we get to know him more throughout the project, we appreciated the fact that he is willing to work within our budget and negotiated very nicely within the financial framework to help us achieve the desired esthetics and utility. We have changed our mind on countertop material a number of times and Anthony worked tirelessly with us, on pairing the stone with cabinets, factoring the cost, taking into considertation other color elements and texture in the surrounding areas to come up with the right recommendations. When Anthony had to source certain materials (for example frost glass) on his own without us in the shop, he would send detailed pictures, creatively describe the characteristics and quality of the material. It is also worthy to note that Anthony is a strong advocate for clients, an important aspect in the event of things not going your way.
All these contribute to the great reliability of working with Anthony.
Anthony has a strong sense of design element and many years of experience. We relied on him for advice on items big or small, even outside of the kitchen project scope. He is always willing to help.
All renovations are processes to build characters, but we have been very fortunate to have relied on Anthony for an important part of ours. His vast experience, exceptional work ethics, most pleasant personality has made a wonderful client experience for us, and hopefully for readers like you in the future.
