Angela Lewis earned her Bachelors degree in Enviromental Design from the University of Southern Mississippi. She works with both residential and commercial clients and as an Interior Designer she also works closely with contractors and architects. Angela grew up having the opportunity to travel and gain appreciation for art and history. After graduation she pursued a career in the fashion industry but after her marriage in 1990, she helped her husband start his business in financial services and 15 years later, she was able to return to her passion……design. She is now a successful Interior Designer and is sought after for her unique approach to design and having an uncanny way of knowing what her clients envision for their home. She currently resides in Hattiesburg, MS with her husband Steve. They have three children, Alexandria, Stevie Jr and Anna Rose.

I have had the pleasure of working with Angela since the Fall 2024. The project was quite extensive as the home had walls torn out, rooms and extended and bathrooms completely gutted. We needed new flooring and tile throughout. She worked well with the contractor and was always available to meet me in person. I live out of state and her flexibility to meet as well as her willingness to facetime and send videos was crucial. When project was nearing completion, she worked with me to secure furnishing and was onsite for placement. Additionally, she looked for accessories to make the furnished project move in ready. Angela always took my style into consideration and was willing to go back to the drawing board as needed which was not often as she took the time to get to know my personal style. I continue to work with Angela as we put on the final touches. She is a gem.

Angela is amazing! She helped me conquer an elephant sized remodel with ease. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen timely and within my budget. She is very well connected with area suppliers and contractors and made the purchasing/installing process a breeze. She was always available for questions and I felt supported the entire way. I would highly recommend her for all of your designing needs!

Working with Angela was the best decision I’ve made in a long time!! She was absolutely the most help. Dealing with her meant that my kitchen and den reno was her top priority. She had great ideas and suggestions and her team was excellent. They showed up when they said they would and actually worked the whole time they were here! I was so impressed with Angela and you will be also!! She made my life so much easier and I will always be so grateful that I had a friend to refer her!!

Angela was so professional, when I got anxious or crazy about the renovation, she always answered my questions and refocused me on the project. By the end, my home was beautiful. The changes that she recommended to me were made. She listened to my wants and needs and turned the house I was living in - into MY home! She was always very responsive to me during the time of renovation. The team she works with were all very professional, as well, and so kind. She continues to be a great friend and is doing Phase 2 of my renovation. I am very grateful for her committment to me.

We hired Angela Lewis to renovate our living room space. We wanted to transform the area from a dimly lit old room to one that is now cheerful, bright, comfortable and inviting. If you want the best designer, you want Angela Lewis! She is such a talented designer and she helped make our home not only beautiful but comfortable. At so many times, I would be unsure of a decision, but she made suggestions, looked at different possibilities, and listened. She is awesome to work with because of her attention to details (things you won’t see) and her follow through. Her relationships with those in the construction and design industry also brought big benefits to us. Everyone loves Angela! We do…and you will, too!

Angela with inside Out LLC was outstanding to work with! She went above and beyond my expectations and was so easy to work with. She helped me select and arrange appropriate furniture for my vision and my family’s lifestyle. Angela helped me select window treatments, area rugs, fabrics, throw blankets and pillows, lamps and other accent pieces. She also designed some custom furniture pieces and built-ins as well as oversaw their installation. My budget was very tight due to the time that we built our house, but Angela was able to provide many quality pieces at great prices! I really believe that I saved money by working with her. I definitely know that I saved a lot of time by working with her. My only regret is that I did not bring her in to the construction process at the beginning!

Angela Lewis is the absolute best and I highly recommend her! When I met Angela for the first time she was very detailed, listened to what I needed, and very proactive with her follow ups. I do not live in the area so it was important to hire Angela for the renovation project and I can honestly say I felt that everything was in good hands with Angela. Her strengths are her relationships with contractors and vendors, communicating progress, answering all my questions, being available, and always approaching things with a solution. Her positive attitude and just a genuinely kind individual that cares for her clients did it for me! After the renovations I wanted to do some of the decorating, but realized I needed her expertise and she came in and really helped me finalize additional decor details. Her expertise, creative ideas, and simplicity really helped me get to a finished short term rental. She has been there every step of the way and I definitely recommend anyone that is considering to look no further because she is the ONE!

Angela is so amazing to work with! She took the vision we had in our minds and brought it to reality in our major remodeling project. She is so patient when you can’t make up your mind and simplified the daunting task of selecting paint colors, flooring, tile, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, lighting and all the many choices that have to be made. We are so pleased and excited to see Angela’s finishing touches on our home!! We highly recommend her and have enjoyed working together.

We are so happy a friend recommended Angela Lewis to us when we started work on our new home’s interior. Angela spent time with me before we ever started decorating so she could get a feel for the kinds of things I like and the feel we wanted for our home. She never made me feel pressured to follow her vision — instead, she worked hard to make my vision a reality. And she’s fun to shop with, besides! The service is exceptional. Angela gets to know you and works with your ideas …(or if you have no preferences she will design a plan). She is extremely professional… yet very personable. I liked the fact that they (Angela and Alexandria) worked with what you already had, if possible . They also work within your budget. I would definitely use Inside Out again.

Angela has helped us with 3 major projects - master bed/bath remodel, back patio remodel (with additional of kitchen and fireplace), and most recently updated paint/furniture/rugs for our great room. Angela did an extraordinary job remodeling our master bathroom, we absolutely love it!! Her work was superb! She came up with a beautiful and up to date design that fit our needs and space and then she pulled it all together to make it happen in a timely manner. She scheduled and managed her team of contractors flawlessly, made sure our floors were covered as they worked and was here every step of the way to oversee the project!! She made it very painless for us as the homeowners. I would highly recommend she and her daughter Alex to work on any project and guarantee it would be fabulous. Her customer service and care is outstanding, absolutely going the extra mile!! She purchased all of the extra things for me to complete the look such as: shower curtain, rugs, garbage cans etc. and placed them, making the finished project perfect! We loved working with her and would definitely do it again! Angela goes above and beyond with her work and service, a rare trait!

I can without hesitation recommend Angela Lewis. We met Angela via her daughter Alex, who now works with her mother. Having done only one other major remodel project, we knew we needed guidance. We got much more. Angela pursued the vendors and contractors. She didn’t like it when what was promised didn’t happen. Always a lady, Angela stood the gap between my wife and I and our vendors and contractors. She would nudge us to consider new ideas and celebrated with us when things turned out well and beyond well. She was genuinely disappointed when the inevitable problems occurred. She worked hard to plan each stage. This is our first time to use a professional interior decorator. Angela certainly gave us more than we anticipated and did it with integrity from start to finish. Knowing her and becoming her friend adds value to our lives. We look forward to continuing our friendship and to invite her to help with some future projects.

Angela helped me update my family room She was great with getting all the people needed for painting, replacing mantle and electrician. Also she helped me find the perfect furniture and accessories that made my room complete. I will be getting more work later this year and Angela is certainly going to help me with this project. Our family had used Ms. Lewis and her expertise before, but this was the first time that my husband I had hired her for a project on our home. Ms. Lewis is fantastic!! She is extremely knowledgeable about products and ideas and the latest trends in the industry. She also helped to connect us with professionals in the area to complete our project and coordinated dates and times. This is extremely helpful as my husband and I both work and basically we could turn the project over to her to set up workers and be available to allow entrance into our home so that our life/work was disrupted as little as possible. Ms. Lewis is extremely easy and a joy to work with! Our project involved matching some additional cabinetry to the original cabinetry in the home and she nailed it! Our project was finished on time and is beautiful. We would highly recommend her to anyone whether your project is large or small. Our project was small but we know of others who have used her for extremely large projects. If you need help with your home we highly recommend hiring Angela!!

Angela’s advice and experience was invaluable as she interfaced with the builder of my small animal veterinary hospital and his subcontractors throughout all facets of the design process. Her knowledge of current design trends, her experience and her eye for detail was spot on. The end result: we have a beautiful and unique, rustic but modern, state of the art animal hospital that is pleasing for people and less stressful for our pet patients. And it was built and designed on a fairly tight budget. Whether choosing paint colors, interior or exterior finishes, lighting or countertops or flooring, Angela was decisive and her guidance was just what I needed. She held my hand when I felt overwhelmed. She helped me handle difficult subcontractors to advocate for the design that I had my heart set on. The end product is functional and fabulous for both people and pets. Passers by have stopped in to ask about our exterior paint colors and stone products! Our exterior design has been replicated by our builder in other new establishments in our community. Angela went above and beyond - I highly recommend her for her professionalism, design experience and excellent taste.

I hired Angela Lewis to help me refurnish and update my living room. I am extremely pleased with everything she did. She listened to what I wanted to accomplish and remembered things I did not realize she was taking in. She also helped with some Christmas decorating that turned out beautifully. I have other projects in mind and Angela is the only person I will consider hiring.

Recently I had to move my office location on short notice. After hearing about Angela's good reputation, I gave her a call and she was able to work with our tight schedule. Angela worked within our budget and had qualified contractors able to assist us when needed (e.g., plumbers, electricians, etc.). I highly recommend using Angela for your decorating projects!

We highly recommend Angela for your remodel. This summer Angela helped us remodel our kitchen. She made it so easy on us... from helping pick out paint colors for walls, trim, and cabinets, to helping with countertops, sinks, and faucets. Angela made the process seamless by coordinating all the work being done and styled our kitchen to match the decor in the rest of our house! We loved the final product and its all because of Angela! We just finished building a home on the water in Ocean Springs, and boy am I thankful I found Angela!!! She picked out fabrics and designed all of my window treatment (which turned out gorgeous!) including Roman shades and drapes with gold French rods. She also did matching pillow shams and 4 custom cushions for some built-in benches in the bedrooms. The quality of the window treatments and cushions is amazing! She spent hours shopping for cute nautical and beachy items for my bookshelves etc, throw pillows, outdoor pillows, rugs etc. And she found great deals on everything which was great for my budget. She hung my art work, and she refinished three large pieces of my furniture— which completely transformed them! She used chalk paint and gold metal leafing which took them to the next level!! She figures out very quickly what your taste is...and I honestly don’t think there was one thing she picked out for me that I didn’t like! I can’t say enough great things about her! So happy my home is done, but sort of sad she isn’t around! She’s so fun and sweet to work with!! :)

I highly recommend Uniquely Angela! My husband and I hired Angela to help us update our 90s style kitchen this past November, 2017. My husband and I had ideas of what we wanted but were unsure of how to go about putting all those fractured ideas into a complete design. She listened carefully to our preferences in color, style and materials. Angela respected our tastes and ideas but used her wonderful eye for design and detail to put together a plan that perfectly interpreted the vision we had for our kitchen. She used her own talent in changing our very golden oak cabinets to a warm antique coffee tone. Angela always showed a high degree of professionalism and welcomed any questions we might have. Texts or phone calls were always returned promptly. She recommended and coordinated times for other professionals such as, carpenters, counter top and flooring specialists to come in to our home for estimates and would always follow up after any work was done to make sure we were satisfied with the results. Angela did an incredible job on our house remodel! She is so easy to work with and was involved in every aspect of the design from lighting, flooring, wall color, faucets, etc. She exceeded our expectations in all she did...even standing in the rain as we picked a paint color for the exterior! After the remodel she helped organize and decorate every room! The Christmas decorations she did for us are gorgeous! Angela helped decorate my teen daughters room. She did a great job and my daughter loves it! She was very careful with watching the price of items. She was as willing to listen and work within my teen daughters likes, which was a big bonus to me, since my teen didn't always share the same taste as her mother. I will definitely use her again!

I had a vision that had gone wrong with paint color and furniture choices. So a friend recommended Angela, and she brought our vision back to life. She transformed a spare bedroom into a little boys outdoor retreat for my toddler. I also like her flexibility in shopping from high end to low end, instead of being employed by a particular store. I loved working with Angela! I had one week to get a 5000 square foot home painted and new carpet installed. Angela made it all happen so smoothly! She had the paint/carpet samples ready for me to pick from when I came in town. She had painters lined up and ready to go too! After we moved in she continued her magic! She took all the "stuff" I had for my built in shelves and arranged them like art work!! She has helped in many other ways too like picture hanging and she's a master at repurposing furniture!
