UrbanTerra is the rare landscaping company that genuinely cares for their craft and manages to work with the environment rather than against it. We were looking for a company that would be respectful of our trees and willing to creatively embark on a project that is more "nature" than "stones". Steve met our expectations and delivered excellent service throughout. From design to landscaping of all kinds, they are highly skilled, effective, and easy to work with. Simply put, Urban Terra is simply an amazing company to work with. This is our second time using them for our interlock projects and the results speak for themselves. We are incredibly happy with the work performed by this company and provide the highest recommendation. The planning and execution of our project was overseen by Steve (the owner) and his great crew. We felt very comfortable going over designs, making suggestions, and also inquiring about things as the work was going on! Steve and his team were always willing to answer questions and be helpful in any way they could. They also showed a lot of respect for their surroundings (i.e. my neighbours) and ensured the job was done efficiently and with no clean up afterwards. The job was also completed on time, on budget, in a very professional manner, and we would use them again in an instant. We can’t say enough about Steve and his team. We’ve contracted Steve for several projects and each comes off flawless. This summer Steve and crew redid our front walkway, installed large interlock planter boxes, complete with plants and lighting. They were on time, on scope and on budget - what more can you want! Urban Terra were amazing to work with! They were professional and knowledgeable regarding our current project (and plans for future projects). They were punctual and most of all reliable - which is so important in this industry! They appreciate the clients time as equally important as their own. When a company tells you they are coming a certain day and time, you should be able to trust that. Many times you can't! With Urban Terra, they arrived when they said they would and if there was any issue (for example weather), they always kept us in the loop; no guessing about whether the contractor was going to show up! Steve, owner of Urbanterra, designed and built our frontyard and driveway. Working with Steve was a true pleasure. He listened carefully to our ideas and came back to us with a computer-generated design that was both creative and beautiful. Being able to actually "see" what the finished product would look like was extremely helpful. We met on numerous occasions to discuss options and he was very accommodating and never rushed us. When it came time to build, he and his crew focussed entirely on our project. They arrived each and every morning at the same time and worked hard all day long.
