Valerie McDermott has helped me decorate my entire house! She helped me pick colors for walls that work well with my theme colors of red, white and blue. She has taken me shopping for fabric and design for draperies, which turned out beautifully. She drew up a master bathroom floor plan where nothing existed before and it works very well. Her expert advise shows in every room in my home. She has the resources of people at her fingertips that get the job done quickly and beautifully. I love my home and thank Valerie for the endless hours of design technology she provided.

For years, I have worked with Valerie, owner of Glenoaks Interiors. She has always been very professional, creative, knowledgable and friendly. In the past, she helped me with relatively small design jobs in my various homes. This year, I decided to put my rental townhouse up for sale. It had not been significantly updated in nearly 20 years. Although the "bones" of the place were good, practically every surface needed to be replaced, including every square foot of flooring. It also needed new paint throughout, new countertops in the kitchen and baths, custom tile work, window treatments, lighting and more. In other words, a complete redo. Valerie was more than up for the job. She understood my design style and took it to the next level, making intelligent, creative and cohesive design choices. She preselected samples for my review, which kept me from being overwhelmed! The selections were perfect. With enthusiasm, patience and amazing organization, she saw the project through from concept through completion The result? A really welcoming and stylish townhouse that was created on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier. I love working with Valerie and would not dream of working with anyone else.

Valerie has helped us on several different remodeling projects.. She really listens to what you want and gives excellent suggestions. Her ideas for our kitchen remodel gave us a kitchen that looks great and is much more efficient. She helped us select all the colors when we painted our house.
