We enlisted Vera to help with renovation and furnishing our new house which was about 19 years old. Working with Vera was fantastic, she is very much a professional and excellent with designing structural changes and working with us to make sure that we understood what she had designed. Her suggestions for colors for tiles and cabinets were very good. She was able to find excellent furniture and fixtures that flowed well to upgrade the house to match our new floors and colors. She has excellent contractors she works with and they were very responsive to do all of the work in a quick manner. This close relationship was invaluable in moving things along. Vera was very hands on during this process to keep them on schedule and excellent in communicating with us and between us and the contractors to facilitate the project. Vera has a very keen eye and sense of style that was very helpful for us. She also was able to find dealers that were closing their stores to allow us to purchase excellent chairs at 50% off. We would have never found these on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with Vera and highly recommend her for your interior design support.

Vera was contracted to provide full service interior design work for a new condominium in a 55+ community. The focus was on living room, dining room, loft, and library areas. Working with Vera was extraordinarily easy, efficient and professional. She met every expectation I had throughout the process. She very quickly understood my needs and most importantly, my tastes in design. She invited me to join her on a trip to the Philadelphia Design Center which was delightful as well as time-saving. Her attention to detail and communication skills are superior. It is rare in today’s environment to work with someone for 5 months and not be frustrated or disappointed—but I was neither at any point in the process. I could not recommend her enough!

Vera was a godsend. Her design expertise helped us make our new bedroom a place of peace and serenity.. She was diligent in getting the project done and accomplished much in a short period of time. Her coordination of vendors and processes was just what we needed. Her choice of colors and fabrics far exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend Vera for her design knowledge and her manner of conveying her ideas in a manner that non-design oriented folks can understand and appreciate. New Construction Finished Basement Designhaus helped us finish our basement once we moved into new construction last year. Vera came up with the perfect floorplan that incorporated all the ways we wanted to use the basement. She designed a unique space that included a seating area, service bar, office, a full bathroom, and several storage areas. She helped us find high quality materials and provided all the floor plans we needed. Unique finishing touches like the live edge shelves mounted over vertical glass tile in our service bar are my favorite part.

We have been working with Vera for over ten years on various room renovation and design projects and highly recommend her services. Most recently, Vera helped us remodel our kitchen and replace flooring on our first floor. Not only did she bring us a wide range of ideas regarding design, she also accompanied us to show rooms and visited our home multiple times to coordinate with us and our general contractor. Vera has very refined taste but is also a great listener and worked hard to find selections matching our lifestyle. We would not have been able to complete this project without her and we wouldn’t consider any future renovations or design projects without consulting her.

I cannot say enough good things about Vera Bahou of Designhaus Interiors. I contacted Vera because I needed to update my master bathroom. It was very apparent to me, when I met with Vera, that she was exactly the person that should design my bathroom. Vera took my old tired bathroom and transformed it into a luxurious bathroom. Working with Vera is most definitely a pleasure. She made the whole process of picking out the fixtures, tiles, wallpaper, cabinetry, counter-top, lighting and window treatments easy and fun. Vera has exceptional taste and it is reflected in her work. She coordinated the contractors and visited my home when each contractor was performing their work. She was always available for both the contractors and myself. Vera is very talented and I look forward to working with her on future projects in my home.

Vera and I worked together on the custom rugs for her 55 and older residence project. It was such a pleasure to work with a true professional! Vera helped me understand her clients' needs and their budget, and she was deeply involved in all facets of the rug design. It was a thrill to go to the clients' home for the installation and to see how beautifully the rugs coordinated with all aspects of the interior. Vera can certainly pull together a space so that there's a wonderful flow from one room to the other.
