Vignettes

We started a huge project with Vignettes. in July of 2022. A project this size could have taken a year, but they managed to get it done in six months. Janet take’s enormous pride in her work and it shows. She and Kaitlan cared about the project at every step as if it was their own home. We could never have completed our renovation without Vignettes. If we tried, it would take a lifetime and we wouldn’t even like it. Janet and Kaitlan’s bold choices were amazing. We trusted them at every turn and the project turned out amazing. Our house is 6 bedrooms, 3700 sf on a 9000 sf lot. In all we completed: Interior -New hardwood flooring throughout the home. Some rooms have real fancy with diagonal boards. (Janet insisted on it even though the installer thought it was too hard and didn't want to do it). It turned out fabulous. -Repainting the walls and window trim (a bold and beautiful choice). -Wallpaper in select rooms. -Design and installation of new steel double front door. -Refinishing of built in bookshelves and bar. -Design and installation of new staircase (Janet designed the staircase herself). -Master bathroom window coverings. -Art installation and accessories for every room. -New custom furnishings for every room that included design, fabric selection, pillows, cushions, etc. Exterior: -Courtyard landscaping -Backyard landscaping -Backyard automated sunshades -Backyard furniture with custom fabrics recovered, cushions, and pillows

Vignettes did an amazing job with the design for my new beach house. It was so easy to work with Janet, she has many years of experience, an amazing creative mind and excellent taste . Janet and Kaitlan make a wonderful team. They both listen to what you like and work really hard to be able to show you a mix of what you already like and what their ideas are so this made it easy for me to know what I want. They are both super diligent, they always were quick to respond to every question, concern, and request that I had. We recently had Janet of Vignettes do a remodel of our kitchen, living room, family room, bathroom and converting our extra bedroom into a gym/office which was needed much more then we knew. Janet was a true professional. Her communication from the very start made us feel extremely secure that we were going to love the finished product. This was not a small project which included demolishing walls and digging a 4-foot ditch in our family room for plumbing. You might understand our fears. Janet consistently reviewed with us timelines, oversite of the various construction while providing decorating options and ideas. Her choices in colors, fabrics, tile were spot on to what I had explained of my vision. Her understanding of colors and choosing lighter tones opened and enlarged our rooms more than I could have imagined. All of the various vendors were managed, and any issues were dealt with immediately. Considering the scope of the project we truly had only a few issues all really minor, which again goes to her planning I appreciated the oversite of the project by Janet and I knew whatever I brought to her attention would be addressed immediately. I had heard so many horror stories on supply chain issues, from family & friends. I appreciate the attention and foresight that Janet put in. She ordered items early and followed up so that everything was delivered timely. We experienced no supply chain delays which was amazing. We would highly recommend Janet and her team for any remodel. She is responsive, friendly and has the ability to see the end results even when you are wondering how it all will all come together. We now have the home we dreamt of and are so extremely happy with everything. Loving the compliments on our remodel by all of our family and friends, thank you again Janet!

Janet was great to work with. She was very responsive to our wants and needs on our project, and always followed through during each phase. She was always on time for appointments, and responded to all of our messages. She never lost sight of the fact that she was designing the rooms for us, and not herself. She took care to work within our budget, and was able to utilize some pieces of furniture we already had, and work them into her design. Janet was somehow able to channel me and my wife’s differing tastes, and deliver a finished living and dining room that we both loved. We highly recommend her.

Janet helped me with my master bathroom in my mountain cabin home. My husband and I have only rave reviews for this extraordinary woman. We thought the process would be very tedious and time consuming. We came down for the day and had the entire remodeling products selected and ordered by the end of the day!! Drawing of enlarged shower, flooring material, new tiles, beautiful new vanity, new mirror shower glass door shield, and new color for walls. We are so excited for the vision Janet had for the bathroom , with all the natural style influences she used to bring outdoor beauty in. Janet Fasheh is an exceptional professional interior designer and treated my house as it was her home. We used her for redecoration of Man Cave, Kitchen Area and Entry Hall. Janet was highly professional. She supervised all the work and delegated projects for the entire house to extremely talented professionals. Janet was more than a "Designer". Janet remained in contact with us during the entire project...from the early morning hours to late at night if there were items that needed to be addressed. Her selections were "on point" and allowed us to pick our flooring, paint, granite, lighting, kitchen cabinets and staircase with ease. She did not disappoint. I hired Janet from vignettes for a total remodel of our house in Dana Point. I knew I could not do it myself. She really has all the knowledge of what is in now and how to work it. She picked out everything for a new kitchen and bath and colors for every room. She did the flooring and tile choices. What was great for me was that she gave us three different color and design options so I had the final choice from those. She knew our budget and worked to help us keep it. The end result was beautiful and more than I could have hoped for. Everyone who enters the house raves about how beautiful it is. It really is a gorgeous home now !

Janet is the perfect designer, as she made the design and ascetics all about me. Janet listened, she encouraged when I needed it, she respected personal choices, she always offered a variety of price points to meet budgets, and her taste is magazine quality. Janet helped me redesign my front and back yard. She gave us a lot of great ideas. I just love our new patio furniture and the layout. Now are front yard flows perfectly with our back yard. I would definitely recommend Janet for both your inside and outside decorating/design projects.

I would recommend Vignettes Interior Design to any--and everyone considering remodeling their home! Let me start with this: I have always been a DIY'er. So when my boyfriend and I decided to remodel & redecorate, we were confident we could do it alone. We painted a few rooms and bought some new furniture, but inevitably life got in the way and our efforts were put on hold. Under serendipitous circumstances Janet came into our lives and our home -- her vision was instant and infectious. Janet and Danielle are very realistic about home improvements; they understand and empathize with the financial and personal stress it can put on a household. They suggested a range of options for improvements we could make -- from the most expensive, to the most economical. So, we moved forward with one space, our living room. Not only was the project completed on time and on budget, but the results were better than I could have ever imagined! Since then, my boyfriend and I have had Janet and Danielle upgrade the rest of our home and backyard. No project is too big or too small for their team -- they've designed & executed an entire outdoor structure for us, complete with a waterfall, koi pond, bridge, stone gas fireplace, wooden pergola and outdoor lighting. But, they've also helped us with something as non-invasive as updating our wall dressings to maintain a "flow" throughout the house, and helping us choose what color linens we should feature in our new bathroom. Bottom line: leave it to the pros. With Janet & Danielle's help, we never had to micro-manage a contractor (or even find a contractor), argue a bill, or use a tape measure. My boyfriend and I were able to live in our home during all construction, eat, sleep and work uninterrupted. In hindsight, I can't even imagine the stress, time, and money that would have gone into attempting remodeling myself -- and it definitely wouldn't have turned out NEARLY as incredible!
