My wife and I recently completed a full kitchen remodel with Preferred Kitchen and Bath (PK&B). As a commercial construction manager, I have high standards for project execution, and Julie Wu and her team met them. Design & Planning: We began with PK&B's Conceptual Design Service. For a $200 fee (which was credited back to our contract deposit), Julie provided a 3D rendering that perfectly captured our vision. Their showroom is excellent; being able to see and touch the materials firsthand ensured there were no surprises regarding the final look. Execution & Communication: PK&B handled the entire permitting process and stayed exactly on their 12-week construction schedule. The subcontractors were professional and respectful of our home. We especially appreciated Suzy Sparks, who provided weekly updates so we always knew what to expect for the following week. Integrity & Problem Solving: In the construction industry, challenges and mistakes are inevitable and how a contractor handles them speaks volumes about their integrity. We experienced two examples of this: Unforeseen Issues: During demolition, we discovered a pre-existing leak in an upstairs shower drain. We also requested that PK&B fix some pre-existing water damaged flooring in an adjacent room. In both cases, they acted quickly and the change orders were very fair and reasonably priced. Post-Construction Support: After completion, we noticed a mistake in the backsplash installation. I was very impressed with the speed at which PK&B coordinated the subcontractor’s return to resolve the issue, and it was completed to our total satisfaction. Value Add: While we knew appliances were not part of the initial proposal, Julie provided us with her builder’s discount at a local showroom, resulting in significant savings. The Verdict: PK&B balances design vision with disciplined project management and, most importantly, they stand behind their work. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and highly recommend them.

We had an outstanding remodeling experience at Preferred Kitchen and Bath from start to finish. We did a major kitchen remodel which included significant structural modifications and two complete bathroom remodels. Our designer Suzy was outstanding in guiding through the six-month project. Our general contractor Dereck had great communication skills and made sure tasks were being accomplished every weekday as well as occasional weekends. At the end of the day our home was always left as neat and tidy as anyone could expect. The quality of the work by all of the subcontractors was truly incredible. When occasional minor hiccups occurred, they were handled immediately and professionally. I would recommend Preferred Kitchen and Bath to anyone considering a remodeling project. We hired Preferred Kitchens and Baths to turn a storage closet into a full service home bar at the back of our dining room. Suzy came up with an amazing plan and it turned out beautiful!! The project went smoothly and was finished in the proposed timeframe. The cabinetry, quartz waterfall peninsula, appliances and hanging glass display shelves are top notch. The wine display niche is a fun added touch! Jose and his team were clean and courteous, simply wonderful to work with. Suzy said this was the first time she had designed a bar of this scale for a home and she nailed it!

We used Preferred to remodel our kitchen, family room, office, primary bath, and powder room. We could not be happier with the finished product! Julie's designs were exactly what we wanted and her construction crews were great to work with. We received a weekly schedule of who would be working at our house each day and if there were any changes we were notified right away. We never had one day where the crew did not show up! Our downstairs was finished right on time and our upstairs was finished 2 weeks early. I have absolutely no qualms recommending Preferred Kitchen and Bath. They did what they promised, on-time, and made a stressful remodel a lot easier!

Our custom built house just hit the 50-year mark with little to no updates on the bathrooms. I was looking for someone daring and adventurous that was willing to take on a project much bigger than most. I wanted walls moved, bedrooms extended, the laundry room moved, and the closet and the bathroom to flip places. I had looked high and low for just such a person, presenting to them a picture of my ideal bathroom that I had found on the Preferred Kitchen and Bath (PKB) website. I didn’t even think to call the PKB because they are down in South Orange County and I live in North Orange County. After about 10 failed attempts to align my vision of the project with other contractors, I got desperate and called PKB, hoping and praying that the designer who’d done the bathroom I wanted would travel a bit. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the designer, Lea, of the bathroom that I really loved, lived close to my home and was willing to come have a look. The second Lea looked at the job I could seriously see the wheels spinning inside her head, not to mention the excitement she expressed at the challenge of the job. It was exactly what I was looking for but more money. I’m here to tell you, it was worth every penny. I had told Lea that I hoped that I’d look back and say, “I can’t believe that is all it cost.” Lea replied with a very confident, “You will!” AND SHE WAS RIGHT!!!! Wow! The work they did was just amazing. Lea is so organized that the job is done very efficiently. There was only one day that no one came to the house to work over the two months that the project took to accomplish. And the workers were very respectful of our property, if something got damaged they repaired it immediately, they didn’t leave their trash laying around, and the quality of the work they did is impeccable. This in addition to the quality of the products they installed and the details that they took care of is what makes me feel like I couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Lea has great taste. We loved working with her so much we also had her do our two other bathrooms and again had an amazing experience with her and her team. We were not looking forward to when we have to remodel our 22 year old kitchen but now I feel confident, that when the time comes, we know exactly where we will go!!!

We were happy with our experience with Preferred Kitchen & Bath from the start to finish of our master bath remodel. Julie has a great eye for design and function, and she gave great ideas while being respectful for our personal taste and style. The team is well-coordinated and thanks to Suzy, we were informed at each step of the process and were able to get responses to our questions quickly. When issues came up (which were mostly minor), Suzy was either already aware of it or eager to get it addressed right away. The team worked hard to keep to the timeline that was set forth. We were especially happy with Joe who did our tile - he is a true craftsman and made our tiles look seamlessly beautiful. We bought a 30 year old custom built home with a beautiful ocean view, but it was in dire need of an update. The original design had the kitchen closed off from the rest of the home with walls blocking the ocean views. The powder room looked more like a dark closet and the master bathroom was dated. Adding to the challenge, the flooring in the main hallways was Flagstone! My wife and I interviewed many capable contractors, however, we found they just lacked the vision of what we wanted to accomplish. Enter Preferred Kitchen and Bath. Julie Wu, the owner, has exceptional vision and taste. She was extraordinarily creative and helpful throughout the process of the design of the kitchen, dining room, family room, library, powder room and master bathroom. When you start on a major project like this, it can be intimidating and having an experienced, thoughtful guide was just what we needed and what we got when we selected Julie and her team. Our job involved some structural elements, removing shear walls and installing a couple of glulam beams. We could not have been more pleased and impressed with the construction crew. Every remodel will have complications, and Jose and his team were always able to find a way to resolve any issues that surfaced. We were REALLY pleased with the craftsmanship and professionalism of the construction team. The cabinet installer, Alex, is truly excellent. We made a couple of last-minute adjustments on the cabinet installation, and he was able to make it look seamless. When you’re contemplating a remodel, make sure you are teaming up with a reputable company and true partner in your project. That is exactly what we got when we chose Preferred Kitchen and Bath. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of the project and are VERY grateful to Julie and her team who transformed our home into a true showcase.

We completed our DREAM kitchen remodel at the end of March and I can't believe we've taken this long to write a glowing review! My husband and I have done two successful, partial kitchen remodels in the past working directly with a contractor. This was our first experience working with a company that designs and manages the remodel project from start to finish. It was worth EVERY PENNY. There are an insane amount of decisions that go into a kitchen remodel and then executing the design is equally mind-boggling. Lea Biermann was our designer and constant guide throughout the entire process. We can't thank her enough for listening to all of our ideas, truly understanding our vision, and making it all possible. We are hearing all sorts of horror stories these days on remodels and timelines. Lea kept the project on time with constant communication on what to expect during construction. We also can't say enough great things about the construction crew. Great artisans and builders that also listened and collaborated with us throughout the process. We can't wait to do more projects with Lea and Preferred Kitchen and Bath.

Several years ago we used Julie and Preferred Kitchen and Bath to completely redo our very outdated kitchen. Without changing the overall floor plan Julie and her team made a few subtle rearrangements of appliances and installed custom cabinets which transformed the kitchen into a beautiful fully functioning space and a gorgeous focal point in our home. The final outcome was incredible. So, with no hesitation, in late 2020 we contacted Julie and Preferred Kitchen to remodel our three bathrooms, with Master and Guest bathrooms upstairs and a Guest downstairs. With Julie's excellent design ideas and recommendations we chose and ordered all of the fixtures, sinks, tile, flooring, shower doors, toilets, etc. in the latter part of 2020 well ahead of the actual remodel start date of January 2021. We decided to eliminate the bathtubs and have only showers. Julie designed several features such as a Pony wall in the upstairs Guest bathroom and replaced the door separating the vanity and the shower/toilet areas with a pocket (hidden sliding) door in the Master bathroom. These modifications made the bathrooms look more open, elegant, and inviting. All three showers have raised shower heads, niches, seats, and full length dual movement clear glass doors which make every bathroom look much more spacious. Julie, Suzy, and Jose, along with various master craftsmen, and subcontractors were extremely professional, showed respect when entering our home, always on time, courteous, cleaned up everyday, and completed all three bathrooms within a day or two of the projected schedule. Every team member in the company seems to follow a work philosophy which states “there are never any problems, only solutions !” This philosophy was very evident as we moved along with the remodel. At times we decided we needed another canned light here, an additional outlet there, or change the position of the shower head height, etc. Every request was taken care of without issue. That is truly customer service at its finest. With all three bathrooms completed we could not be happier. What were once ‘cookie cutter” bathrooms are now beautiful spa-like environments. Julie is an amazing designer and her team is top notch.. When we have any new remodeling projects we will call Julie and her team without hesitation. Julie and her team handled our kitchen remodel from start to finish. The cabinetry is fantastic and very high quality. Julie has a great eye for design and will help make choices wherever you need advice, but gives you the freedom to choose your own components if you wish. Every one of the professionals invoiced in the work were fantastic at their particular skills. We could not have asked for better execution from each of these skilled craftsmen and are thrilled with our new kitchen.

My wife and I completed a bathroom and laundry remodel right before the pandemic hit. Unfortunately the company we decided to move forward with was hit and miss. The general contractor was responsive and communicative. However, some of the employees were fantastic while others left a lot to be desired and just did poor and sloppy work. Looking to remodel our master bathroom we had a good idea of what we were looking for in a company. Patricia came out to perform the most detailed measuring job of any of the companies we interviewed and received bids from. Julie worked with us on the design and provided us with a new perspective and design that we had not thought of. We especially liked having a schedule and knowing what to expect each week. Suzy sent us an email every Friday to let us know what was going to take place the following week. Derek, the general contractor, was great and overall all of the Preferred employees that came to work on our bathroom were excellent. A special shout out to Marcos who was responsible for all of the electrical, texturing, duct work, as well as providing all of the finishing touches on the bathroom before the final inspection. My wife and I are extremely happy with the result and we plan on reaching out to Julie when we decide to start our kitchen remodel.

We had Lea Biermann with Preferred Kitchen and Bath out to remodel our kitchen, fireplace, replace downstairs flooring and powder room in 2019. We loved our new spaces so much that we had them back this year to renovate all of our remaining bathrooms and our linen closet area. Lea knocked this project out of the park! Every last detail is just stunning! The quality of materials they use and standard of workmanship is always an A+. Lea is incredibly talented, organized and the absolute best to work with. Preferred Kitchen and Bath was AMAZING!!!!! Lea was referred to us from good friends who just had their home remodeled by them. There is no doubt that they are the BEST! We had so much fun designing my dream kitchen. We gutted the entire downstairs and even had a wall removed, which gave us the most amazing new kitchen space. We enjoyed the process so much, that half way into our job we hired them to do all the flooring, 2 bathrooms and a hallway upstairs. Lea is so talented and easy to work with. She has great ideas and also respects your design style along the way. Her contractor Jose was awesome and his team was always beyond respectful of our space and time. Everyday was an adventure and now that our project is complete, we makes jokes that we miss the team being here all the time, lol! Our kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and fireplace area came out beautiful. We even came up with a unique way to remove our ugly wood banister and create a desk/workspace area that flows right into the kitchen. Every step was fun and exciting, even when hiccups popped up, Lea & Jose were quick to engage and find a fast solution. I have already referred them out to 3 different families and cant wait to see their magic.

When we decided to completely remodeled the kitchen and do some other work on a house we just bought, we were told by many to be ready for a lengthy, tedious, very stressful process which will eat up all of our free time. From the initial contact that we made with Julie, all the way through the process, they maintained their high performance and the pace to deliver on time and on budget. Julie is an awesome designer and leads her team in a well orchestrated manner. Jose and his crew are very knowledgeable, well coordinated, and a pleasure to work with. We just completed a three bathroom remodel with Preferred Kitchen and Bath ( large master bath and two small baths). The entire process went very smoothly. We first scheduled an appointment and someone came out to take pictures of the bathrooms. Then we met with Julie, the designer, to get ideas for the remodel . She offered many excellent suggestions and helped us decide what we wanted to do. Once we signed the contract and got on the schedule, we met with Julie to select tile, cabinets, fixtures, etc. Again, she was extremely helpful in guiding us to making decisions. The contractor- Derek- and his entire team were terrific. All of the workers were hard - working, professional, polite, reliable, and skilled. I can’t say enough positive things about them .They took the time to do their jobs properly and correctly, and they didn’t waste time or need to redo tasks. The bathrooms turned out beautifully. We are delighted. They look clean, modern, and they are more open .

Preferred Kitchen and Bath just completed a major remodel of our kitchen, which involved removing two interior walls to open up our kitchen to the dining room and family room. We love our new kitchen and our open floor plan. We worked with Julie our Designer and Derek our General Contractor. Julie is an excellent designer, she listens to what you want and provides great design advice. She knows what will work and what is not such a good idea, which is really important when making decisions in your kitchen. She also has excellent taste and will let you know if something will clash or not look right when you are making decisions on counter tops, back splashes, and cabinets. Our finished kitchen looks beautiful and what is just as important has been really a pleasure to use, we find it so much easier to function with all the additional room and location of our appliances. The project went smoothly once it got started, we had to delay a couple of times due to a back injury then a slab leak, Preferred worked with us to stay on track and finish on time even with these delays. Suzy their Project Manager was great at keeping us informed each week as to what was going to happen every day so we could adjust our schedule around accordingly. All of their subs were great too Jose, Alex, Damian and Joe and Richard. they were courteous, on time and cleaned up each day before leaving. We really had absolutely no complaints during the whole remodel which took 6 weeks. What I really liked about working with Preferred is they are a one stop shop, you get your design, your products to choose from their beautiful design show room, and the build, it makes it so much more efficient and such a smooth process to have it all handled by one company. If you are looking for a great design/build kitchen and bath company, I highly recommend Preferred Kitchen & Bath! My husband and I were forced to remodel our kitchen because we had several pinhole leaks that destroyed our cabinets and flooring. I am very picky and indecisive and researched for months and months trying to decide which company to go with. I got bids from several kitchen designers, contractors and design build companies. Hands down Julie Wu and PK&B was the best! I first saw her designs on Houzz and was very impressed with her website and the reviews there. She has a lovely showroom in Lake Forest with cabinet, knob, counter and backsplash samples and tons of online photos of before/after projects. If you want efficiency and personalized attention – PK&B is the company for you. Rather than having to deal with a designer, sales person, contractor, renderer etc, I could just deal with one person who was completely responsible and focused on my project. I need a lot of hand holding and visuals and Julie sat with me for many sessions and came to my house to measure and look at materials (without asking for any money) in order to make sure I was happy with every detail of the design and computerized rendering. Julie is an expert designer with a great eye and ideas. Other companies have levels of bureaucracy and built in costs but Julie was very fair with her pricing and I never felt like I was being nickeled and dimed. She is not the least expensive, but she is not the most expensive either, and you get a lot of great intangibles that make it worth it. One company was going to charge me to add a load bearing post that was completely unnecessary! I completely trust Julie. She was incredibly patient with me especially when I got stressed out and couldn’t make a decision. She drove around with me to look at finish materials and was never pushy. Bottom line she wants her clients to be happy and the buck stops with her since she is the owner. She has a great sense of humor too! Once you agree on a design and the cabinets are ordered- she will get your project done quickly and efficiently following a detailed schedule. She will make sure every item is completed and Jose, Suzy and the team (Alex, Hugo, Pablo, Alejandro) are all very nice, accommodating and easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend Julie and Preferred Kitchen & Bath and can’t wait to use them for another project!! ”

First off, WE LOVE our remodel!!!! As soon as we walked into the show room of Preferred Kitchen and Bath, we knew we found the company to help us with our remodel. The show room is beautiful and has many displays and it is not over whelming. Julie walked us through and explained how they run a project and showed us the many different designs they had done on a large big screen TV. Julie is a very qualified designer and understands space requirements, which made us feel like our ideas were on the right track and along with her new ideas. We thought the whole team was professional, Julie, Patricia, Suzy, Jose and all the craftsman. We were impressed with the knowledge of the workers and their effort to clean up every day. A key part of the success of the team at PKB is the communication and organization between everyone. The whole process from the first meeting to the completed remodel was very professional and completed as promise. We would recommend Julie and her company. BEST decision ever!!! When we hired Preferred Kitchen & Bath we had no idea what a gem we had found. Right from the start we could see a clear difference. Patricia came out to measure, and when I say measure, she measure everything! She was super accurate and detailed in her work. We interviewed 5 other contractors/companies and only 1 other person actually measured anything and it was quick. When we came into the showroom at PK&B, Lea created a design based off the measurements and it was stunning! We knew right away by the attention to detail and service that we wanted to hire them. While other companies want you to hire them first before they do any design work, PK&B sets themselves apart by providing that service upfront! The entire team was fantastic to work with too. Derek at Germain Construction was top notch and the rest of the subs were so immaculate in their trade and easy to work with. Everything went as planned, which doesn’t always happen and the total time from start to finish for the kids bathroom and kitchen was around 6 weeks. We are extremely happy with the work, the service, and the experience. We can’t wait to hire them for the next project. They have become like family to us throughout the past month.

Other members of the dream team, Suzy,Patricia,and Derek were such a pleasure to work with. This was our first remodeling experience and we weren’t sure what to expect. Preferred Kitchen & Bath (PK&B) certainly delivered on our project -- and we love our new kitchen! Early in the construction process we dubbed Lea Biermann, PK&B designer and project manager, and PK&B contractor partner Jose Caballero/Caball Corp our “Dream Team” -- they never disappointed us. Lea truly listened to our input and concerns, and her design exceeded our expectations. The result is amazing. In addition to being beautiful, our kitchen renovation benefits immensely from improved overall traffic with attention to efficiency with two of us working simultaneously in the kitchen, better appliances layout, greater storage with enhanced ease-of-use, and more counterspace and island entertainment space all in the same overall footprint. The open concept kitchen design also affords a look of more spaciousness of the entire main living level of our small home. As the overseeing project manager for our remodel, Lea was communicative and responsive … and assertively monitored and drove our project’s successful execution. And besides providing exceptional work for the duration of our renovation, Jose and his crews saved the day more than once as we ran into unforeseen issues. For example, during initial demolition they found the start of numerous tiny leaks in the copper water lines. Jose responded immediately to our decision to “do it right” by arranging for the replacement and re-piping of the water lines throughout the entire house. When old rotten cast iron drain pipes were found beneath the kitchen, they were promptly replaced. This additional work, beyond the scope of our original project/contract, was tackled quickly and professionally --additional building permits and inspections included-- minimizing the impact to our original construction schedule and at a reasonable incremental cost to our project’s budget. All the work completed by PK&B, their contractors and installers, and Jose and his crews were respectfully conducted with timeliness, quality, and appropriate pride in workmanship. From initial design through demolition and installation, they ran a very organized project with specific crews for each part of the remodel. Our Designer, Lea Biermann created a sleek look with exceptional cabinet space and improved traffic flow for our San Clemente beach home. The light, airy design has a soft neutral color scheme which accommodates any colorful accents. The counter top windows improved our view and the kitchen is now a sparkling, light filled room. Lea, not only created an inviting space which ties into the living and dining areas but was very helpful proposing design elements as lighting, shelving, built- in buffet in the dining area and updates to our fireplace, hearth and mantel. The design and construction teams worked perfectly together and our remodel was on time in a quick six weeks and on budget! We just finished a total kitchen and bathroom remodel with Lea Biermann and her crew I would give them 10 stars if I could! I had heard such awful stories from friends and neighbors about their renovations that we were nervous to use any of their referrals. I did my research and trusted the reviews on Preferred K&B and we could not be happier. Lea is incredibly talented and easy to work with. She helped with the design and put it all together so seamlessly that we had to do very little. Everything they did and everyone she sent into my home was professional and courteous. Derek, Alex, Richard, and Eduardo I give all ten stars as well. They went out of their way to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and couldn't have been easier to work with. They were on time and budget which unheard of these days. We have a few more bathrooms to do and I will not hesitate to call Lea and her crew when we are ready. Even the inspector made a comment with impressed he was with how it all turned out. It is absolutely beautiful! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen and bathroom.

I only being without my laundry room for 1 week. They held off pulling the washer and dryer until the last day then reinstalled immediately following the floor install. Her show room had all the products so I could see everything together. She created a schedule and the work was done on time. All the workers were friendly and considerate. Communication was handled smoothly with calls, text and a few e mails. These were really minimal because the plan / schedule was set and everything was done according. I love my new first floor. A BIG thank you to Julie and her team at Preferred!!!!

Not impressed. I went to the showroom unannounced and was greeted quickly and made an appointment for measuring. He came out did his measurements and said a designer would be in touch. That date went by nothing. A few days later the office called and made an appointment with the designer. Julie was all over the map, could not hold the mouse still so we really did not get a good idea of what she was trying to create. I took my notes home and waited..... Well the quote never showed and a week later they called me back stating the email address was wrong. I gave it to her at the appointment and explained the characters were. She blew it. When the quote arrived a day later it was obviously boiler plate, the figures did not match and were from the wrong project and did not include what we specifically talked about and were on the "plans" that I had photos of. Then they NEVER followed up its been 3 weeks since. crickets. I saw a different designer from another company and they were just as confused as I was. Needless to say I highbred someone else.

We highly recommend designer Lea Biermann at Preferred Kitchen and Bath! She exceeded our expectations! She has done 3 projects for us –the first, 4-5 years ago was a full kitchen remodel, the 2nd Fall 2018 a full master bath remodel and just recently the guest bath remodel. For the first project with the kitchen remodel, I shopped several places before I decided on PK&B. When I met Lea I knew instantly we could work well together. She is not only extremely creative, knowledgeable, an outstanding project manager, patient, she is very personable and a delight to work with. She loves what she does and it shows. She offered excellent suggestions that I incorporated into my plan and which I love. While I had a vision for my projects, I did need assist and welcomed her suggestions. On all 3 projects she stayed on budget and on time…one even completed earlier than planned. Lea will shop with you for selection of granite, cabinets, tile, appliances, fixtures etc., providing as much or as little assist as you may need. They have a great showroom in Lake Forest. The companies PKB recommends for fixtures, sinks, appliances etc. are very good and they have a great working relationship with Preferred Kitchen & Bath and offer competitive pricing. On day one, Lea provides a detailed day-by-day project schedule advising who will be coming and what time each day. Each project schedule was followed exactly and on time. This made it so helpful for me so I could plan my schedule. The suppliers/contractors were all very experienced, ontime, and most professional. They would clean up each day making the remodel as convenient for customer as possible. They are polite, efficient, detailed and do great work. They were always open to questions, changes. Lea is the project lead and I could call her for anything and she always got right back to me. I put off doing my kitchen remodel for years, not wanting to deal with the mess and hassle , but PKB made the entire process seamless and to my surprise made the entire process enjoyable! I would never think of using anyone else for future kitchen or bath remodels. I highly recommend Lea Biermann and PKB without hesitation! You will not be disappointed! Great value for the money! "Amazing Company"! My kitchen is spectacular. Julie, Suzy, Derek and all the contractors were professional, courteous and talented. We had a major kitchen renovation with 2 interior walls removed, 1 exterior wall pushed out and a very difficult floor plan to work with, I spend a year interviewing top companies and referrals. When I met Julie I realized that we could work together and collaborate. Julie uplifted all my design ideas to create a show stopper kitchen. It was important that I hired a stable company that came in on their bid. Everything was completely planned out so there were no surprises.. All inspections were passed with no changes. The moment I stepped into the beautiful showroom of Preferred Kitchen & Bath I knew that it’s the style I was looking for. The huge computer screen in the showroom was even more impressive. Only one week after Dwight collected all the data of our house, Julie showed me a complete plan and visualization of our future kitchen on that screen. I was very impressed by her creativity and design style. Julie and her team did a fantastic job to transform our kitchen and guest bathroom to a whole new level. They kept everything under control and the transition among different functional teams was very smooth during the process. Every team did a great job in their specialized field, Derek, Alex, Richard, Jose, Eduardo, etc. each crew showed their professionalism and attention to details and quality of work. Julie has a strong sense of color and style. She is able to see subtle differences in color variations and being able to put colors together so that they compliment each other nicely. She helped me select the color of our wall pain. It turned out to be a clean and fresh look and compliment perfectly with our floor and cabinets. She took me shopping and finished selecting all the materials in couple of hours. I was very impressed by her ability of getting things done very efficiently. My husband and I purchased a simi old small house that need work a friend of mine's told me about EOL Construction witch from there I came across Mr.Eli Lavie he was the perfect guy for my budget I explained to him what all I needed done and he than explained to me how long the work will take and showed me different layouts on how it will look when the work is done I than picked out what I wanted and he told me he will even throw in a little more extra touch up's I say about a week through the project Eil made sure to call to keep us updated on the work and how everything was coming along he even took the time out to leave a message if I wasn't able work was greatly appreciated and will have him to do more work if ever needed

Preferred Kitchens and Bath,designer Lea Biermann, gave us the dream kitchen we’ve wanted and made the whole process a delightful experience. With Lea’s design expertise we completely changed the kitchen layout by taking out a dividing dining room wall and adding and adding a larger ocean viewing window. We found General contractor Jose Caballero and everyone of his crew to be expert in their trades, efficient and very neat and clean. Our project was done on time and the known part of the scope done within budget. As with any project once you open walls and deal with city planning the unknowns appear. Jose and Engineer Chris were quick to respond and accurately portrayed the scope change, and the budget and schedule impact. We are very happy with the results of this project and highly recommend Lea, Jose and Preferred Kitchens and Bath.

Lea and her team from Preferred Kitchen & Bathroom recently completed a total remodel of our home. The remodel was necessitated by a home flood so we were trying to complete the design and execution phase as quickly as possible. The result exceeded our highest expectations. The design time invested by Lea, and the quality of the final installation, has given us our dream home. Lea listened carefully to our needs and daily routine and then incorporated them into her final designs with spectacular results. She was conscious of or timing and budget at every stage and was very happy to work with us to meet both. Her prior experience and design skills added a lot of great features to both rooms that we had not thought of, and her great project management skills made it all happen. Our home has been transformed and the entire job went without a hitch, was within budget and was completed within our very demanding timeline. We recently completed our kitchen remodel with Preferred Kitchen & Bath and worked with Lea. From the 1st meeting to the completion, the process was very smooth and far exceeded our expectations going into the project. Lea had great design insight, was easy to work with and went the extra mile, including going with me to pick out samples and give her input (which I definitely needed). Her team of contractors were very professional, on time and made sure the job was done right, even if adjustments needed to be made. Nov. 2017. Preferred Kitchen & Bath just completed our Kitchen and Fireplace re-model and we absolute love it! We just had our Master Bath remodeled by Preferred Kitchen and Bath. We started by asking our friends for referrals, checking on the internet for contractors and visiting retail stores, but only got more confused. We heard horror stories about contractors not showing up and a project taking months longer than the scheduled time, plus my husband and I could never agree on what we liked. We needed professional help, someone to listen to what we wanted and have the vision to make it happen. With Preferred Kitchen and Bath we worked with Julie. She created a design, and we worked together until we were satisfied with the result. One of the nicest things about working with Julie is she is both a designer and a project manager. We got a schedule with names, phone numbers, time and dates of all the workers that would be spending the next 5 weeks at our home. They were all professional and wonderful to work with. Julie went with us to help pick out our shower tile, flooring and counter tile. All went beautifully together with our new bath cabinet. She was there when I panicked about what kind of faucets to get, polished nickel or brushed nickel. She was there when I couldn’t decide on my sconces. When it came time to decide on paint, which was included in the price, I just let Julie decide, and like everything else it was beautiful. We decided to have the contractor paint our master bedroom, hallway, and skylight the same color and put 4 inch molding to match the bathroom. The price was a little more than we had planned, but to have most of the decisions made by Julie and the having the project run like clockwork, in the end…it’s only money and we not only have our sanity but a beautiful bathroom to boot.

Wow! who would have thought an impulsive "Let's just drive by" would lead us to Preferred Kitchen and Bath and Linda and ultimately turn our kitchen disaster into a dream kitchen? In the middle of one of OC's worst rainstorms we had a pipe burst and seep down to and under the first floor kitchen area. After delays from our insurance carrier we decided to search for our own contractor. We saw a small ad for Preferred Kitchen and Bath in the local Home Magazine which had just arrived in the mail and said let's drive by. We were greeted by a beautiful showroom, gracious and helpful staff and within days, Linda, our designer arrived at the house rolling up her sleeves to help us maneuver this challenge. I had just had surgery, rain had come in through our windows and neither one of us wanted to invest in a new kitchen at this point in our lives. Linda immediately put us at ease and guided us every step of the way. We always knew what to expect when. She kept us focused and organized. I admit to many meltdowns along the way because in addition to recovering from surgery I fell and fractured my elbow. I was ready to put the For Sale sign out. But there was Linda again to keep the waters calm and the project moving ahead. I am an HGTV fanatic with a HOUZZ plan book that doesn't quit. We thought we knew what we wanted and Linda helped pull it all together. She is a design wonder and master organizer. It was literally like having a friend do all the work for us. Not having to schedule each crew and figure out time lines was such a blessing. We hadn't remodeled in many years and forgot how challenging those tasks and details can be. Linda took all that stress off our plates and I am so grateful for that as well as the professionalism each and every person that came to work displayed. Many many sincere thanks to Linda and all of the guys that worked to create a dream kitchen for us.

My wife and I had a great experience using Julie and her team on our Kitchen Remodel. Julie is not only an excellent contractor , but she also provides great design support. She helped with the layout, colors, finishes, fixtures and appliances. Her team of contractors were very professional and always worked to insure we were happy as the project progressed. We had our kitchen and downstairs powder room remodeled by Preferred Kitchen and Bath. Once we made the decision to go ahead with the project it took six weeks for the cabinets to arrive. We were then provided with a schedule that showed the days that the workers would be there and what they would be working on which was very helpful. All the workers were polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves, and showed up on time. It took about 5 weeks for the project to be done and we were amazed at the transformation. Julie helped us select the counter tops and the tiles and she did an amazing job. The transformation was unbelievable. Our kitchen is not only gorgeous but it looks twice as big as it did before the remodel. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this company.

When it came time to update and enlarge my kitchen I went onto Houzz.com to help me find a local company to work with. I found some gorgeous kitchens done by Preferred Kitchen and Bath. The reviews were great, so I definitely wanted to talk to them. After meeting with Lea Biermann, the decision to go with Preferred Kitchen and Bath was an easy one. Lea was such a joy! From our first meeting on, working with Lea was like sitting down and designing a kitchen with my sister (if my sister was a world class kitchen designer!). She had such wonderful ideas –and, the perfect vision for my new space! She created such a gorgeous kitchen for me. If I was on the verge of making a mistake with my design choices, Lea would tactfully “guide” me in the right direction. Shopping with Lea for the countertop and backsplash material was fun and productive. The cost and schedule for my project were basically right on track from the start. Lea was great at communicating all aspects of the project (Schedule, cost, etc.). If I had a question, it was easy to get in touch with Lea quickly. I could not be happier with the quality level of the work and products supplied by Preferred. Alex led the installation team. They were all very polite, organized, meticulous and detail oriented. We looked in to other designers/remodelers and went with Preferred because they seemed a good fit for us--no high pressure sales tactics, no ridiculous designer price tags. Linda, our designer, listened to our vision, our needs, and our budget, and tailored the project around those things. This was our very first remodel ever, and so we went into it a bit apprehensive of what was coming (we had heard the nightmare stories). So it was key to have Linda at the helm, guiding us through each and every step along the way, from dreaming up our perfect kitchen and master bath on their 3D computer program, to the first day of demo, to picking out slabs for countertops, all the way to the finish line...she gave me a schedule and answered every newbie question I had. And it was great to have a designer's opinion on the million little decisions that must be made: fixtures, lighting, paint color, etc. She gave us some really great suggestions on layout and design that I would never have thought of on my own. Our project was quite extensive, so there is no way I could have accomplished this without her. Whenever we hit a hiccup during the project, Linda was always there to find a solution and help us work through it. We are beyond pleased with the final results and have Preferred Kitchen and Bath to thank. Really, it doesn't feel like some big anonymous entity; everyone on staff is super friendly and even the contractors they use feel like family. Special shout out to Tony (best electrician ever) and Alex (best cabinet installer ever). Richard and his crew, who installed our appliances, was also amazing; so friendly and professional. I can’t say enough about Preferred Kitchen and Bath. They exceeded our expectations! We loved working with the owner Julie and her assistant Suzy. Julie is a wonderful designer, and very patient with questions. She has great style, gives honest opinions and has great ideas for space planning. Suzy is excellent at scheduling the crews and responded to all of my emails right away. Both Julie and Suzy provided excellent customer service and are really nice people! The crews that Julie works with are amazing! Every single person she sent to my home was friendly and talented in their trade. My Omega cabinets look incredible and we could not be happier with the entire project. Everyone says remodeling a kitchen is a nightmare, but truly it was a dream to work with Preferred Kitchen. While considering our kitchen remodel, floor replacement, and entry way upgrade, we talked with many people that had similar work done. Although most were happy with the eventual outcome, not a single one would recommend their contractor. After our experience with Preferred Kitchen and Bath, we are not only pleased with our remodel but also happy with the entire process. We highly recommend them for design (Julie), project management (Suzy), and craftsmanship (Jose, Patrick, Alex, Damian, Eduardo, Richard, and their assistants). - Julie was there every step of the way during design, material selection, compatibility, and ensuring a good overall look. She brings ideas to light without being pushy but drew the line on a couple occasions when she felt we were making a bad choice. The end result, including help with paint selection, looks fantastic. - Weeks before project start, Suzy provided a detailed schedule with contact information. When a separate window contractor was late, she made the needed adjustments in a way that minimized our inconvenience. She kept us informed of any changes. All work was completed by original target date. - The skill and hard work of everyone involved on-site was equally matched by their friendliness, communication about unexpected issues and options, and willingness to listen to any concerns. Amazing results, professional, meticulous, and on time. So glad we chose Preferred Kitchen and Bath. Remodeling a kitchen while you’re still living in your home could lead to a lot of anxiety and stress, especially when you have an active family to feed. After some procrastination and 6 months living without an oven, we finally decided it was time to move forward with our remodel. After some research and meeting with a few various companies that provided services to do kitchen remodels, we decided on Preferred Kitchen and Bath. From the beginning, I knew that we made the right choice. Lea listened carefully to what our needs were and gave us various options when designing. She also kept us apprised on any design that may cost more or less than another. We spent a great deal of time going back and forth to ensure that the language in the contract was something that we both were comfortable with. I appreciated her patience with this. A few weeks before the kitchen cabinets arrived, Lea put together a reasonable timeline of about 5 weeks. This timeline included redoing the flooring in the entire first floor of our home. We chose the materials and the project began. All of the people that we worked with were incredible. Derek’s team who did the electrical and plumbing were efficient and swift. Eduardo, who did the tile and flooring, was methodical and meticulous. His work is incredible. Alex, who installed the cabinets and base boards, did a beautiful job. Damian, the counter installer, also did a great job. Richard, the appliance installer, was awesome and when we had a small issue, he arrived quickly and fixed it immediately. Finally, Lea, the project manager and designer, was awesome. She was patient and made sure that all of the teams stayed on the timeline and if there were any adjustments to the timeline, she let us know immediately. As far as the budget, we pretty much stayed on budget for the project. Lea was always willing to give us various alternatives to let us decide what made the most sense. For those that work full time and are worried about having to stay home during the remodel, no need to worry about this team. We setup a lock box for the team to let themselves in and out of the house. I left for work and when I came home I saw progress every day. They did their work and always cleaned up before they left for the day. I highly recommend Preferred Kitchen and Bath.

I am celebrating the completion of my 2 bathroom remodels with a BRAVO to Julie and her crew! It was Julie’s eye for design, efficiency and the quality of her cabinetry that prompted me to say yes to the higher bid. I am not at all sorry for having spent the money and time. I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Like a well-choreographed ballet, each principle knew exactly what to do and when. From the plumber, to the electrician, to the tile guy and the finish work, everyone went above and beyond my expectations and I am so very happy with the finished product. It is a company I would only recommend if you are looking for close to perfection!

Julie and her team went beyond our expectations! From day one Julie was incredible. She listened to all my ideas and understood the direction we wanted to go with our overall look. Not only did Julie and her team do an excellent job, they came in on budget and on time! Her team were more like craftsmen. The work was impeccable! They were careful neat and arrived on time!! Julie presented us with a schedule of when each segment of the project was happening, along with the names and contact numbers of every one who would be coming into our home, everything went so smoothly, I could hardly believe it!. This is my 4th house, and 4th remodel, but my first with Julie! I wish I had met her years ago! For this project I interviewed 4 different designers, and Julie won hands down. When it comes time for our master bath reno, I'm only making one call...to Julie and Preferred!

For those of you who don't like long reviews I'll start with this; Yes, I highly recommend Preferred Kitchen and Bath and I would hire them again! Lea Biermann was our designer and she kept our job running like a well-oiled machine. There are really so many decisions to be made, big and small, that you must have someone who really knows their stuff - and Lea does. When she first gave us a timeline for the remodel, I was skeptical. Everyone I had spoken to about their remodel said it went much longer than was estimated. I am happy to say that that was not our experience. Everyone showed up on time, every day. Lea was able to work around any hiccups in the schedule (none the fault of Preferred, by the way) so time wasn't lost on the project. She was easily reachable and responsive throughout our remodel. Lea did a FANTASTIC job scheduling/ juggling all the different trades. We were so glad we chose a design/build firm to take care of all that. The contractors that Preferred Kitchen and Bath used for the various services were excellent at their job - especially Alex (who installed the cabinets and made our hood) and Eduardo (who installed our intricate backsplash). Their attention to detail was very impressive and we really appreciated that. We had many different people in and out of the house and they were all very professional, as well as friendly. The kitchen and laundry room, of course, are absolutely gorgeous!

Our townhome was built in 1989 and had original wiring, a huge unnecessary non-bearing wall that blocked the kitchen/living room view, pitiful storage area, two burner stove and large tile where the living room has beautiful dark hardwood. So lots to redo. We chose Preferred Kitchen because they handle all the work - hired all the peopl3 needed to gut a kitchen. After coming to see our kitchen, Julie (the owner( was able to enlarge cabinets to the ceiling, move the center island, move the refrigerator to another area so we have more counter space, add a microwave to the center island (fantastic) so I now have a double oven again. We chose our cabinets, quartz, handles, accessories, etc. backsplash and she guided through our choices. So anyway, our kitchen too about a month and it IS BEAUTIFUL. UNBELIEVABLE. All her workers were so friendly, kind, always cleaned their mess before they went home and were very professional and oh so good at what they do. I would highly recommended Preferred Kitchen. If I redo a bath, I will not look anywhere else. Plus, I love Julie. She had great recommendations for faucets, additional accessories (like platter cabinet), Did I mention again how beautiful our kitchen now is?

When I decided to remodel my kitchen and master bath, I didn't know where to start. Being a widow, my husband had always handled any work we had done around the house. My brother recommended designer Julie Allen with Preferred Kitchen & Bath. She had remodeled his kitchen a few years ago and he was very pleased with how it had turned out. I was looking to create a beach theme with wood plank porcelain flooring and cape cod cabinets. Julie listened to my ideas and offered her suggestions. She designed a beautiful kitchen and master bath staying within my budget. She guided me thru the whole process, helping me pick out cabinets, counter top, flooring and backsplash. When the project was ready to start, Suzy sent me a schedule so I know what was happening each day, the names of the workers and the times they would arrive. They were all professionals, taking pride in what they were doing. They spoke very highly of Julie and her team. Everything went very smooth and stress-free. The house was always left in order when the workers left. I have another project that I'm working on and I will be calling Julie and her team at PREFERRED KITCHEN & BATH. After meeting with other kitchen designers, we discovered Preferred Kitchen and Bath and went to check out their showroom. We were immediately impressed and made an appointment to meet with Julie. That decision turned out to be one of the best home improvement decisions we’ve ever made. Julie was completely involved in our kitchen remodel from start to finish. She patiently listened to our ideas and tactfully made recommendations to steer us in the right direction. She always took time to explain why she thought something would work or not work and wanted to make sure the redesign fit with the rest of the house. Everything she put together for us, from the use of space to the choice of cabinets, counter tops, lighting, flooring, paint, etc. turned out perfectly. The rest of her team was also amazing. Suzy made sure things moved along as scheduled and was always available if we had questions. She did a fantastic job of overseeing the project and taking care of anything unexpected. Alex, Damian, Derek, Eduardo, Fernando and Richard were all experts in their fields and also a pleasure to work with. We absolutely love our beautiful new kitchen and could not be happier with the way it turned out. We highly recommend working with Preferred Kitchen and Bath and are planning to start another project with Julie in the next few months.

We walked into Preferred Kitchen and Bath and was greeted by Julie Allen. We were considering refacing our kitchen cabinets and redoing 2 bathrooms but after a very educational and interesting conversation with Julie we gave her the opportunity to quote us a price on redesigning our kitchen with new cabinets and design our bathrooms. We had a budget in mind and said she would be mindful of that in her design. Once we saw the fabulous changes and redesign of our small kitchen and bathrooms she had created close to our budget we signed up! Julie is great to work with, she not only has great suggestions and design ideas she "holds your hand" and comes with you to help pick out tile, granite etc. She has great connections for appliances, plumbing, flooring and things you need to complete your vision. Julie's staff of contractors have been with her for many years and are all professional, talented, friendly and always on time. Julie is always available to answer any questions or concerns you have during the entire process. The project was finished on time as promised with out issues. I highly recommend Julie Allen and her team as you get much more than just a general contractor. Julie is a very talented committed designer who is not only passionate about her work but always wants her client to be happy and satisfied.. We love our beautiful kitchen and stunning bathrooms. Julie and her professional staff were wonderful to work with. Julie gave us all the time needed to design and remodel not only our kitchen but other rooms in the house. She has a flare for design and was very conscientious of our budget. Her scheduling was amazing and everything was finished on time. After interviewing two other cabinet contractors to upgrade our kitchen, my husband and I choose Preferred Kitchen and Bath due to the workmanship of the cabinets in the showroom and the cost of the job, i.e., dovetail joints in the drawers versus glued and/or nailed. I would highly recommend going this route versus interviewing and having separate contractors for each piece of the project. You have one (maybe two) people to communicate with, answer questions, and address concerns and problems. After the project was considered finished, there were a couple of glitches that were addressed without question. The finished product is beautiful. Our project was completed in December 2015, and we still can't believe how beautiful our kitchen turned out.

Preferred Kitchen & Bath recently completed a remodel of my kitchen and family room. I cannot say enough great things about them! I contacted five different companies to get estimates, and while Preferred Kitchen & Bath was not the least expensive, I knew that I would not be sorry if I chose them to do the work. I didn't feel that same level of confidence with any of the other companies that provided estimates. That may not sound like much of an endorsement, but anyone who’s lived through any kind of remodel knows how stressful it can be. Preferred Kitchen & Bath took the majority of the stress out of the process, and left me with a stunningly beautiful kitchen and family room. We worked primarily with Suzy Sparks, who is an amazing designer. We really weren't looking for a radical change, just upgraded materials and a lot more functionality. Suzy is a consummate professional whenever we had an issue or concern, she listened carefully and always came up with a great solution that didn’t make us feel as if we were compromising OR that we were being nickel-and-dimed. That in itself kept the stress level low. Suzy also managed the entire project, scheduling all the contractors as efficiently as possible to make sure the project was completed in as short a time as possible. From the beginning, Suzy helped us to be mindful of our budget. She explained the differences between a lower-priced cabinet versus a higher priced cabinet, which had similar durability, but more stain colors to choose from. We went with the lower priced cabinet and are very happy with the end result. We also made a few design changes as we went along, and Suzy’s help was tremendous. For example, we had originally planned to tile the entire section of the family room wall where the fireplace is and place a TV above. We decided to only tile around the fireplace, and Suzy suggested tiling inside the nook shelves (which are very large spaces). This design change did NOT cost more money, and it looks fantastic! Every time I sit in the family room which is pretty much daily, I marvel at how beautiful it all looks! Again, I cannot say enough great things about Suzy Sparks and Preferred Kitchen & Bath. Not only was I NOT sorry I opted to work with them, I have already begun to talk to them about a master bath remodel. I wouldn’t work with anyone but Preferred Kitchen & Bath!

We remodeled two kitchens with Preferred Kitchen & Bath, one in 2013 and one in 2015. Each part of the experiences was positive. From the initial visit with the owner to the consultation with the owner/designer, to the work of the trades people, we found each to be knowledgeable, professional and skilled. Should we remodel our bathrooms, we would be happy to work with Preferred Kitchen & Bath.

Preferred Kitchen and Bath helped us remodel our '80s kitchen. We valued their expertise in design (making our small kitchen more functional) and in sourcing materials (cabinets, granite, appliances). They were ALWAYS on time and ALWAYS did exactly what they said they would do. They listened to our budget constraints and designed our kitchen within those limits. We are VERY happy with how everything turned out.

Preferred Kitchen and Bath did a fantastic job with the design and installation of my kitchen. Suzy, the designer, listened carefully to what I wanted and had many creative ideas. Once the schedule was set, all the contractors were exactly on time. In addition, any small finishing work was done quickly. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and would recommend them, particularly if you want the project completed on schedule.

We decided on Preferred Kitchen & Bath for our kitchen remodel as we liked the idea of them managing the entire project. Lea was awesome as our designer and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Our project was actually more than just a kitchen remodel. In addition to all new cabinetry, countertops, flooring and appliances, Preferred Kitchen and Bath removed a wall between the kitchen and family room creating a large open living space. They relocated the heater/air conditioning to the attic, had tile flooring laid throughout the house except the bedrooms, updated the fireplace with added cabinets on both sides of the fireplace. During the design process, Lea listened to our ideas, was always available and gave us great suggestions as she guided us through the entire project. She made the whole process so much easier for us. We were given a detailed dated schedule before the work started and the project was completed as scheduled. All of the contractors, Desmond (heating and air conditioning), Alex (cabinets / baseboards), Derek (construction / electrical), Eduardo (tile / backsplash) and Damian (countertops) were very professional, on time, easy to talk to and made an effort to be as minimally disruptive as possible. We absolutely love our new kitchen and highly recommend Lea and Preferred Kitchen and Bath.

Julie provided us with an excellent design and implementation plan. Many contractors can offer a cheaper alternative, but without a perfect plan, they can fall short. Our new design provided us with more storage space, yet our kitchen feels bigger and is more spacious. All the workers were highly professional, helpful, and friendly. It was a hassle free, and mess free remodel which finished on time. We are so happy with the outcome and receive many compliments!

I had been stalling for some time on remodeling my kitchen after hearing horror stories from others on the hassle and mess involved as well as projects gone bad. Julie Allen and her crew did a beautiful job of designing and installing our new kitchen. Contemporary design requires precision, and they delivered in every way. At the onset we were provided with a work schedule, and everything happened in accordance with that.....there were no surprises and no delays. From demo to completion, the kitchen was finished in 4 weeks. Currently we are using Preferred Kitchen and Bath on another project upstairs in our home.

We have completed two projects using Preferred, master bath (2012) and Kitchen (2014). We are extremely pleased with both and will use preferred again. Design consulting was terrific and we found that Preferred has a select group of subs that work as a total team on each project. A very comfortable working relationship and also very efficient.

The carpet and flooring on our 1st floor were in terrible shape. My wife and I have been thinking about remodeling our downstair living space for the past 7 years. Each time we got stalled because we couldn't agree on what to do. After seeing the work done by Preferred Kitchen & Bath in our neighbor's house, and the strong recommendation from our neighbor on its timely completion, we decided to give Julie a try. Julie's husband, David, came by to take pictures of the house and walked us through the process. Meeting Julie for the first time was a very comfortable experience for us. She listened to our needs and the different opinions we had and started working on some proposals. We both felt that Julie knew her trade well and had a creative mind. It was decided then that we would hire Julie to achieve what we want in our kitchen, family room and bath. In her showroom, Julie showed us the plan. We had different questions and suggestions and Julie would show us why some ideas would work and some won't by working the design. We could immediately see the effect on the monitor. In the process of several showroom sessions, not only did we complete the design, we also have Julie as our good friend! Julie's crew are the best. They were courteous and professional. My wife and I pay close attention to detail. These guys (electrician, tile installer, plumber, carpenter) are super nice and do the best job possible. As with any remodeling project, some times our wish isn't practical. These guys would patiently explain the issue and find a compromise. We threw a monkey wrench to the project by waiting for our tiles to be shipped from Italy. Julie's crew worked with us to modify the project schedule. In the end, my wife and I are very happy with the result. We achieved the contemporary, relaxed look that we both liked. Julie helped us to bridge our differences. We couldn't be happier with our remodel.

We love our kitchen!!! We contacted Preferred Kitchen and Bath located in Lake Forest to upgrade our existing kitchen in San Clemente. We were not 100% sure what we wanted, especially around removing walls, cabinets, countertops, etc. Julie came to our house to review our current layout, take some basic measurement and then we scheduled a follow up meeting at her office where she worked with us on a design. She was really patient and listened to our questions and was able to interpret them into a wonderful design in our kitchen/living area. We did not just replace cabinets, we did a good amount of construction as well open up walls to create an open floor plan. We met with three different designers and we choose Preferred Kitchen and Bath because of their professional and attention to detail. From our first meeting to the last walkthrough, Julie and her team were excellent to work with through the entire process. Julie provided us with a detailed project plan at the start of the project and met each milestone she set within the plan (even finished early at times). We had a new kitchen in three and half weeks from start to finish!!! The crew arrived each day on time and left the place as clean as you could possibly expect during a remodel and we had a lot of construction done at our site. As I mentioned, her team completed the project on schedule and we are so very happy with their work. I would highly recommend Julie and her team at Preferred Kitchen and Bath to anybody who is planning on upgrading their kitchen. One additional item I have to mention is the compliments I received from various vendors on how great it was to work with Preferred Kitchen and Bath. Julie gave me a list of appliances, faucets and fixtures I needed to purchase, the sizes I needed to buy and when I needed to have them in the house to be ready for the installers. If you work with Julie and her team, you better be ready to do your job as well to keep up with them!!!

We had our kitchen, family room, guest bathroom and laundry room remodeled by Julie and her team at Preferred Kitchen and Bath. They were professional, honest and did an excellent job! Everything turned out better than we dreamed and all of it was done at a fair price. First, we met with Julie at her showroom to go over our ideas. She gave us suggestions and more ideas by showing us some of her previous work on her big screen computer. We were able to touch and feel the various cabinetry and countertops in her beautiful showroom. With her wealth of experience, she had many great suggestions for the layout and design. She then prepared a detailed layout of our new and improved kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. We met a few times at her showroom to finalize the details. After that, we signed a contract that had everything spelled out including prices. The next step was to choose materials and she helped us with that also. Julie has a great sense of design and was very helpful in our decision making process. Julie was great to work with as was her team that installed the cabinets, tile, granite and appliances. Her tile man is a craftsman. Our guest bathroom has a shower and the tile work was impeccable! Everyone showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. If a problem arose, Julie made sure it was corrected. For example, our cabinet doors were supposed to be a dark stain but when they were installed, they appeared very blotchy. She agreed and immediately called the manufacturer’s representative. They had new cabinet doors sent to us and reinstalled. We have and will continue to recommend Preferred Kitchen and Bath to our friends and family!

We were thrilled with the service of Preferred Kitchen & Bath. David, Julie's husband took us through the preliminaries and responded to our many questions with concise knowledge and an experienced eye for detail. Julie was exemplary in the way she took us through design, layout and helping us decide which colors, and materials would blend with our remodeled home. We cannot say enough about the quality of materials and advice. The project stayed within the timeline and all contractors arrived on time. The compliments on our new kitchen continue to flow. We hired Preferred Kitchen and Bath to do a full remodel of our townhouse. Julie from PK&B was extremely helpful through the entire process in working with us during the design phase, materials and hardware selection, and even taking the time to meet with us to help choose interior paint colors. Julie, along with every one that worked at our house, from the contractor, plumber, tile person, cabinet installer, and painters were respectful, courteous, and helpful. They all were part of a great team that did a fabulous job on our remodel. The project was also done right on schedule as promised. The outcome is gorgeous! Just finished our kitchen remodel and its awesome!! Lea worked with us and designed a kitchen based on pictures that I showed her from the website. The whole process went as smooth as possible considering we found a slab leek in week one! They had to adjust the schedule but we only lost 1 week while we took care of the leak. All the guys who worked in the house were nice and made sure to clean up at the end of the day. I would highly recommend them and in fact plan on asking Lea for her help in remodeling our bar. We looked into several different companies but none of them seemed to have the fine attention to detail and design that Julie had. From start to finish she was so easy to work with, was very clear about every fine detail and aspect of the project timeline. Her crew was on time every day and was very cautious about taking care to protect our belongings around the house and keep everything as clean as possible. They did an amazing job and stuck to their specified timeline to complete the job. We loved working with Julie and her company so much that we just recently hired them again to remodel our master bathroom. Our experience with Preferred Kitchen & Bath has been a positive one; I would not hesitate to recommend them. The interior design expertise is present where one would not find that artistic skill at a big-box type store. The planning was thorough and all details were made clear to us. There was a wide selection from which to choose. When it came time for the installation, all workers were 'first-class'. They were skilled, courteous and on time. We love the new kitchen!
