The quartz countertops were initially installed beautifully, and I was very happy with them. Unfortunately, about three weeks later, a crack appeared along the seam of one section. I wasn’t even in the kitchen when it happened. I contacted the company, sent a photo, and they sent someone out to look at it. The repair technician wasn’t happy with his repair and gave me two options: have an expert try again, which would take about four weeks, or replace the affected section. I chose replacement and was told the order would be placed and I would be contacted. Unfortunately, communication after that was very frustrating. I repeatedly had to follow up over the next month and was given different updates about whether the replacement had been ordered. Eventually, I was told the company had consulted industry experts and decided they would not replace it at no cost. Their opinion was that the crack was heat-related, apparently because there was a cooker about four feet away and an electric kettle about 18 inches away. Given that this is a kitchen, I found that explanation difficult to accept. They offered to cover the cost of the slab if I paid the labor, which eventually came to $460. I didn’t feel I had much choice and agreed. The section was replaced about a week later, although the color of the new quartz does not match the original exactly. The initial installation was good. My disappointment is with the handling of the problem afterward—the lack of communication, the changing information, and ultimately being asked to pay $460 for a crack that appeared only three weeks after installation. The customer service experience was very disappointing.

My experiences with Weaver Stone Company have been overwhelmingly positive. The team they have built is effective and a joy to be around and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality fabricator in Colorado. They do care for your house as you would for yourself.
