Over the last few years, after building our home, we have worked with Laura on several projects. She is patient and considerate. Laura is very accommodating and spends a good deal of time researching you as a client. I will say, there have instances where she has pushed our limits, and it has worked out beautifully. Laura helped us completely refurnish our living room with pieces we would have never thought of on our own. And when shopping for our dining table we purchased a completely different table than what we were looking for and it's perfect. She isn't afraid to suggest ideas you may not have considered. Most of all, she doesn't push the priciest items on you, but practical pieces that make sense. We already miss her since the moved from our area but has been available to us in several different ways.

Laura is a conscientious professional who works with ease and always makes you feel part of the creative end of the decision making. She listens to your ideas and incorporates them when choosing furniture, fabric , wallpaper and accessories. She makes decorating a pleasure and not a chore. Laura Boyd has an exquisite style and is nothing short of offering breath-taking design for your home. During the pandemic, I needed help putting the final touches to the nursery room. Despite living in different cities and limited by lockdown, Laura was able and willing to help overcome every obstacle and meet my deadline in completing the nursery. Laura was easy. professional and fun to work with. She thoroughly presented the best options for the nursery. My daughter's nursery is my favorite room in my house.

I had the privilege of working with Laura Boyd while renovating our beach house at Kiawah Island, SC. Friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, she was a delight to work with. She listened to my needs and made excellent suggestions. From the first, she “got me!,” and understood the look that I wanted but couldn’t figure out how to achieve. She gave me practical advice on fabric choices and taught me to be more bold in some of my design decisions. I came to trust her judgment and was never disappointed in her work. Our relationship began before restrictions because of Covid, but she made it effortless to continue our work for months in quarantine, by phone, email, and Zoom calls. The end result...rooms that look beautiful, fresh, new, unique! Everyone comments on how my house feels like a home. And I tell them...”Laura Boyd is the BEST!” I cannot praise her work or her work ethic enough. I will continue to work with her as I plan future projects at our home.
