Creative Building Concepts

My husband and I selected Creative Building Concepts to do a remodel on our 20+ year old home in Lower Paxton Township. The home, which boasts a lot of custom woodwork, had a poorly designed kitchen layout with builder grade materials. There were several different flooring transitions while the entry from the garage was dark and narrow. Two different types of granite, a small kitchen island and underutilized space in the laundry and powder rooms were a thorn in my side. My kitchen was no longer a place I enjoyed being and the laundry room had become a catch-all for everything that didn't have a place. I'm a known skeptic when it comes to contractors as I have had a few unhappy experiences in the past. To say I was anxious about this job would be an understatement. I knew it would be several months until it was complete, and our home life would be disrupted in ways we couldn't even imagine. Much to my surprise, this process -- which spanned several months -- was executed with the utmost care and concern for me and my family. This team spent many long hours in our home and truly became family by the end of the project. From the design phase to the selection process to the finishing work, this project was executed with precision, and I could not be happier with the finished product. It's just exceptional and gives me exactly what I was looking for -- functionality combined with beautifully crafted cabinets, one continuous flooring option, and plenty of space for storage!

This project won two awards: the 2018 Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Society Construction Project Award and the Kitchen of the Month Award from Carter Lumber. We worked mainly with Ross, Ben and Nate on this project, as well as some of their excellent contractors. Ruth from Carter Lumber was great. This was our first renovation with the crew. We appreciated the fact that although we both had different ideas of what the project was going in, we worked well together to merge our ideas into a beautiful outcome. Special kudos to Nate the all around go to guy, and to Patrick and his carpentry.

Creative Building Concepts, Carlisle PA, completed our total master bathroom renovation in April 2018, giving us a lovely spa-like retreat. In vetting contractors, we were so impressed with the professional and artistic presentation of co-owner Ross Garner that we hired the firm immediately. We especially were pleased that the company was willing to collaborate with our decorator and several of her contacts to fulfill our special requests. Creative Building Concepts provided a skilled, dependable, courteous crew that worked seamlessly under the supervision of an on-site foreman, who was dedicated to the successful completion of our project.
