My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

TERRIBLE service! Jesus the owner is extremely unprofessional. He says one time frame and never delivers on time. The initial design we discussed was a world apart from what he installed. He had to take off and put back on panels numerous time. He is extremely unresponsive. He demands payment but then lacks the common courtesy to show up on the agreed date/time. Then when you try to get in contact with him, he ignores your calls and texts. He has a million and one excuses for why something isn’t done on the timeframe agreed. I started the process of building my closet in February 2022. He told us 45 days, it is now May and I am still chasing him to finish it. He gives my designer the run around continuously. Mind you, this is not a small project or amount of money (40k). He is rude, unprofessional, and in my opinion a SCAM as he does not deliver what he promises and agreed to. He put the wrong colors in the drawers interior. He placed a piece in the middle of the closet (up-top) that looks like it was bought at Ikea. he placed baskets in the island which, one, I never asked for, and two are completely off my color scheme. Unfortunately I paid him a large chunk of the project so I am stuck with him. Please save yourselves the headache and annoyance of doing business with this person/company. This was supposed to be a fun and memorable experience for me as I am building my dream closet, yet its turned in to a complete nightmare. Do not make the same mistake as me! I see myself having to file a lawsuit and a complaint with the BBB if he does not complete my project. Again, DO NOT do business with this company! They are a SCAM for lack of a better word!

The Millwork Lab has done some occasional quality projects but Jesus and team are unprofessional and unreliable to work with. I hired Jesus to build a home office for me, but he was so unreliable and unresponsive and ultimately just backed out of the job. If you look at the other 5 star reviews, they are given by friends and family members. if you have any choice of vendors in Miami then stay away from Millwork.

I will like to apologize again to you for not been able to provide the services you were looking for with the time frame you had in mind. I hope you can understand that building your office in 7 days was not an option for our company, specially when we have different commercial and residential projects at this moment.
I think is better to be honest and tell a customer when they should find a different option/company that can give them the service or product that they are looking for, rather than committing to something they will not fulfill. This is the reason I didn't accept your project.
We warranty quality and service once we commit to a project.

I will also like to point out that to be a client of The Millwork Lab you need a
Signed Contract between Customer and our company
Signed Shop Drawings by customer with detail measurements and installation instructions
Signed Estimate by customer
50% Deposit
NONE OF THE ABOVE HAPPENED. I made clear we were not able to provide the service you were looking for
But to say you hire our company, or that you were a client of ours is just not true.
