Long overdue to write a nice review! This bathroom was part of a bigger project. I was impressed with efficiency of planning and the work. Other than the COVID shutdown of 2020, it went seamlessly and result was beautiful!

I hired BH Contracting to install a proper footing and support under a remodeled section of our home that needed retrofitting. Once we had a firm schedule, the work was done very quickly and in a professional manner. Brad's crew are very capable and friendly, and communication is always very good.

We found BH Contracting through Angie's List. Brad met with us multiple times to plan our projects. He really listens and understood underlying themes that were important to us. The first project was a 32' wall of windows. We have a mid century modern home. There were architectural lines that were important for us to keep. Other contractors had tried to push us to change these to ease the process. Brad did not. We also wanted as large of a slider possible without changing the structure. Brad and team kept to the spirit of the house and helped us find a solution to our opening that we are really happy with. The project included stopped in glass windows, moving and casing posts to keep the simple design of our home, and a 10' slider that feels big while keeping within our budget and did not require a steel header. We are very happy with the end product. The second project was a concrete patio. Brad worked with us to spec the project. Again he was attentive to the details we communicated and helped us through a few things that popped along the way. The patio is about 15x30' plus a walk way. There are 2 15' wide floating steps that descend from one side. It is a great way to extend our living space through our window wall. It is a great combination of form and function. In both projects we were impressed with the team. We have had projects in the past that when the GC left the scene the team had complaints to share. This was not the case at all. The entire crew talks highly of each other and it stood out to us. The window wall and the patio from it meant there were workers right out of our living space. We always felt comfortable in our home with them around. Our son loved watching and the crew engaged with him in a great way. There is a culture within the team that is very healthy. They are craftsman and thoughtful and it really made for a good experience. Both projects also moved along efficiently. When little things came up they were addressed quickly. There was no end of project lingering that we have had with so many other projects. It was good. We have already recommended them to some of our friends and hope to do more projects with them in the future. We found the experience as well as the end product to be great.

BH always does quality work and they are always my first choice for a project in the home. I have hired them a number of times and will continue to do so. This time, it was for some major remodeling including an addition to the house and a new four season sunroom, along with a few changes around the rest of the house. The addition is totally seamless, nobody can tell that it was an addition until we tell them. The sunroom is an amazing one of a kind feature offering a year round grilling experience and a feeling of being outside without the bugs or rain. Everything else they have done has been fantastic and far outshines the original quality of the house, which was new construction in 2008. Brad and his crew have great ideas and work really hard to get everything exactly how you want. We ran into issues with changed regulations, but Brad worked with the city to come up with a solution that was even better than we originally planned. We had the addition all designed ahead of time, but the architect Brad brought in had some ideas that made the final solution far better. Brad's team were able to match existing trim work with custom builds that look like they are part of a matched set. Everything they touched ended up either how I had imagined or better.
