I have used Rock Renovations for so many different projects in my home that I’ve honestly lost count, and I think that probably says a lot about how much I trust them.
Some of the work has focused on making my home more accessible and helping it work better for me. Rock Renovations has built a ramp, changed bathroom fixtures, repositioned the banisters going down my stairs, and improved lighting in areas where I simply needed better visibility. They also built a new landing and stairs with railings in my garage. What I appreciate is that none of these projects were treated as “just a small job.” They listened to why I needed the changes and thought about how I actually move through and live in my home.
They’ve also modified my laundry room and replaced the upstairs baseboards after water damage. I originally renovated the upstairs of my home in 2020, and now I’m working with Rock Renovations to reimagine how the downstairs could function and feel completely different. We are exploring some genuinely exciting ideas, including an art studio, a sunken living room, and a wet bathroom. Nothing has been decided yet, but I love the process of being able to throw ideas onto the table and then have real conversations about design, construction, feasibility, and how the spaces could actually work together.
At the same time, we’re discussing a transformation of my primary bedroom, including adding French doors and creating a seating area that opens onto my upper deck. This is where I really appreciate Rock’s approach to home renovation and design. A conversation that starts with me saying, “Wouldn’t it be great if…” quickly becomes a thoughtful discussion about structural engineering, electrical load, outdoor-rated doors, what may be behind the walls, and what needs to be considered to do the renovation properly. There are always a hundred things I haven’t thought about, and they have.
