Maureen is absolutely exceptional — we could not have found a better designer for our renovation. We worked with her on two bathrooms (guest and primary) as well as our primary bedroom, with all construction happening while we were away traveling, and the experience could not have been smoother. We loved partnering with Maureen on the design. She made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free, helping us bring our vision to life while elevating it in ways we couldn’t have done on our own. For every decision, whether it was shower tiles or cabinetry wood, she presented us with a thoughtfully curated set of options, saving us from hours of researching online and in-store. We are absolutely thrilled with Maureen and her work! It's not pure coincidence that Maureen has "Bravo" as a part of her name. This woman is a humble genius in her craft. I was immediately drawn to her work when I reviewed her portfolio. Often times, designers have the same "look" for multiple projects. Not Maureen - I could tell she chose finishes based on her client's preferences. Our late 1970s home was in dire need of new floors, interior doors, and an updated stair banister. Maureen suggested an initial walkthrough to ensure she would be a good fit. From the moment she showed up, I enjoyed being in her presence. The brief suggestions she made were in line with my ideas, and I knew I had to work with her. Maureen was mindful of our budget. She would always ask my opinion prior to sourcing design choices, even after I communicated that I had full trust in her. It was true collaboration. Maureen consistently stayed on top of timelines and would keep me updated in a timely manner. We enjoyed working with Maureen so much that we decided to add on a master bath remodel. I now get to wake up every morning in the beauty of our new home. I'm certain that this vision would not happen if it weren't for Maureen's talent. For me, having someone design your home isn't just about their skill and creativity, it also includes how they made you feel through the process. I am a local designer, and support other professionals in this field as a part time job. I have worked with various experts in this field, but none of them with Maureen’s caliber. She is creative, unique in her ideas, practical, and diligent with communication and details. On every project I have assisted with, I learn something new. We worked with Maureen this past year during our 9 month remodel. Maureen advised us with our kitchen - layout, functionality, decor, fixtures, lighting, etc. Beyond that she also helped us with flooring, painting of the inside and outside of our house, bathroom decor including tiles, fixtures, lighting, etc. She was an excellent resource with regards to functionality of our kitchen, we love our kitchen and the layout that she helped us to create. She also has a beautiful eye for decor and reads her clients very well. Working with her is very easy and truly takes a major level of stress off of your plate. We have just come up on one month living in our partially remodeled kitchen done by Simply Situated Interiors, and we are so happy with how it turned out both aesthetically and functionally! We are so thankful for Maureen’s help with improving our layout and providing much needed design updates. We are first time homeowners and Maureen made the remodeling process seamless. She was always willing to make adjustments with respect to our budget (not an easy task). Maureen is a great communicator, and always made herself readily available when small unanticipated design questions arose onsite at the last minute. I reached out to Maureen for help with interior design and a number of vague project ideas for our new (first) house. With her help, we were able to accomplish so much in under 3 months, including interior color selection and painting, new kitchen shelving and backsplash tile, an assortment of contractor repair work, selecting/laying out/ordering furniture, window replacement, etc. Without Maureen's help, I would still be wasting hours of time on Pinterest and Yelp instead of settling in and enjoying our home. Maureen's guidance and contractor connections have been invaluable during this whole process. She is able to work well within time constraints, respects style/budget preferences, and is very easy to communicate with by text/phone/email. She helped explore project ideas and provided information and options, but was totally fine with putting a few larger projects aside after I decided I wasn't ready to pursue them yet -- with no pressure at all.
