I bought two small tables from Mitchell last winter. They are unusual and beautiful. Mitchell was willing to bring the tables to my house to try them out in the location, He was a pleasure to work with and was willing to try out several tables before I selected the one that worked best.

Very cool store just off Greenwich Ave that does amazing things with natural materials including live edge, petrified wood, sea vines, geodes, etc. Mitchell is so passionate about his work and it shows in the unique pieces produced by Cocoon. He just delivered a custom white & gray live edge acacia table to us in time for the holidays. We could not be happier with how it turned out. With the way our main floor is laid out the new table is a beautiful centerpiece for our home. Thanks!!

I absolutely love working with Mitchell from Cocoon! First, the store is incredible, carrying unique furniture, art and housewares from Thailand and the Philippines that you will find nowhere else. Second, Mitchell develops trusting relationships with his clients and provides the ultimate customer service. When I moved into a new house, Mitchell brought a trunk-load of items to my house that he and his designer placed throughout. I was able to see the items in the spaces before making decisions to purchase. I was also able to choose wood or stone slabs and Mitchell would make the perfect base to fit into the space. Months later when I wanted a custom made dining room table, Mitchell came to my house, measured the room and showed me samples of wood slabs to choose from. We created the base and he built the table, which is a showpiece. Third, there are always new and different pieces at Cocoon. Mitchell will call me when he gets something that will look great in my house and will bring it over for me to see. There is never any pressure, as I have often said no. Last, I have the most beautiful home that is decorated with numerous pieces from Cocoon and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Mitchell and Cocoon Putnam!
