Allie from Ampersand Studio is a fabulous interior designer whom I can not recommend highly enough. She is always professional, respectful and confident in her approach to her work. Following our initial meetings regarding ideas, Allie presented me with the most detailed plans offering me several options to make the spaces work, not just one. Allie has worked on three projects so far in my business and I will definitely ask her to work on more in the future. I am also excited about using Allie's wonderful service and skills in my own home.

My partner and I had spent several years talking about renovations, struggling to agree on a way forward. After one meeting with Allie, we had a plan! Her strengths in listening, problem-solving and creativity helped move us forward. Allie followed up promptly with a superb written summary of our meeting which has been an incredibly useful document for us to work from. I could not recommend her highly enough!

Allie was an amazing design support through our renovation. We really had no idea what we were going to do with the spaces we had. She spent time finding out what look and styles we liked and then came back to us with a range of options and ideas. She fully designed our kitchen and joinery and it is a one of a kind. Her input was invaluable and the finished product is amazing. We could not have achieved what we have without her.

Following our our initial discussions regarding the study's requirements Allie provided us with a range of unique designs tailored to our needs. The process was straightforward and Allie was flexible as the design evolved. On completion of the project Allie provided detailed professional designs which we were then able to provide our cabinet maker. Presently working thru a renovation of an early 1990’s “box room” two story farmhouse with the aim to modernise, open up, increase natural light levels as well as increase functionality. Wish I had engaged Allie earlier as she provided insights on all of these areas, as well as reducing the expensive structural changes. Given Covid and my location on the Mornington Peninsula meant that all work was undertaken remotely. Allie’s insights are clear and concise. Could not recommend Allie enough.

We wanted to bring a modern, fresh, functional look to our living area and study. Allie provided an innovative solution, it works perfectly. She took time to learn how we live day to day and matched our requirements with workable solutions.

Allie is a fantastic designer. She really takes the time to understand our style and needs of the family. She provided great advice during the build on all aspects of the fitout which included weekly early morning meetings with our builder. We receive so many complements on her work from the bathroom tiles, to kitchen handles and interior furniture and design. She always provided a number of choices and included artwork with the various designs so we could see the design in the style of the house. I highly recommend her for all facets of the build and post completion interior design and furniture selection.

Allie at Ampersand Studio has been delightful to work with. She thinks everything through carefully and comes up with unexpected and original solutions to design challenges. She brought so many original ideas to the table that we wouldn't have considered and those ideas really made a huge difference to the project. Plus her clean and modern aesthetic really appealed to us. One of the things I appreciated most about working with Allie was her ability to lay out the different options in a way we could understand and then walk us through the associated benefits and downsides of each. This really helped us make the best decisions possible. Allie's style is fresh and contemporary with just the right splash of fun and original to keep things interesting. I wholeheartedly recommend Allie from Ampersand Studio. My husband and I were very nervous about choosing items for our renovation and after a disastrous trip to a bathroom shop we hired Allie to help us. She immediately understood what we were trying to achieve and came up with various tile, vanity and paint colour for options for our bathroom which were practical and gorgeous. The process was so smooth we asked Allie to help us with the entire renovation. She worked with us room by room choosing furniture, paint colours, light fittings etc. I had never used an interior designer before but found her level of expertise in what things work together and what does not very reassuring. We were on a tight budget and did not want to make mistakes buying big ticket items that were not the right fit. Allie is also great at showing designs and options we would never have thought of ourselves which worked so beautifully is our home. We could not be happier with the renovation and what Allie did for us.
