Working with Sean was outstanding. From the beginning, he listened to our thoughts and desires and then made suggestions about how we could achieve what we envisioned. His designs are focused on the land and topography; with our project, he brought in the angles of the sun (in summer and winter), the perfect positioning to maximize views, and an exterior design that looked like it was a part of the land from day one. Much of the work on designing was done online (we were living in Italy through the process), and his renditions and walk-throughs were extremely informative. He was super responsive. He not only worked through the plans and design with us, he coordinated with the architectural committee to ensure the design would meet HOA requirements and pushed for variances to enable us to proceed with our dream home.

I have had the great pleasure to work with Sean over the past year in designing a home for my husband and I to retire to. My draft included some technical and architecturally challenging aspects. I required the house to "float" over the critical root zone of historic trees to protect their longevity. Incorporate both passive and active applications of solar energy. Create a seamless feeling between the inside of the home and the exterior patios by utilizing glass walls to create a cohesive union. And, I wanted an architectural style that would be timeless, a work or art, not just a house. Our lot is small with several access and setback challenges. All these aspects as well as many other custom elements I wanted to incorporate in the design proved to be a challenging project which Sean took on with full confidence. His skill with advanced design software facilitated not only expedient flexibility in design development but also enabled us to work virtually without losing the intimacy desired in a collaborative creative project. Virtual 3D tours of the home throughout the design phases allowed us to "experience" the interior spaces and refine elements where desired. Sean's attention to engineering and structural details is admirable. I can wholeheartedly recommend Sean for your home design project.
