Classy Flooring ATL specializes in premium hardwood flooring for residential projects in Atlanta and Metro Atlanta. Our core work is custom pattern installation and brass and metal inlay — herringbone and chevron fields, custom borders, and solid brass set flush into the floor — alongside hardwood floor refinishing, pine and heart pine refinishing and restoration, dustless refinishing, color matching to existing floors, engineered hardwood installation, and stair refinishing. We focus on technically demanding work: wide-plank installations, on-site fabrication of pattern fields, and high-end finish systems including Bona NordicSeal, Bona Traffic HD, and LOBA 2K Duo. Subfloor preparation is part of every installation — concrete ground flat, moisture tested and mitigated with WAKOL PU 280, and self-leveled where needed; plywood sanded flush at the seams, screwed, and primed. We color match new and refinished floors to existing hardwood, including across species — matched in the wood with stain where both floors can be sanded together, or in the finish where the existing floor stays untouched. We refinish and restore pine and heart pine floors, including old pine that has been sanded before and reclaimed heart pine. Owner Claudiu Toma has completed hands-on NWFA training in St. Louis, Missouri, including Precision Patterns: Parquet Flooring and Precision Patterns: Medallions, and sets the standard the crew works to on every custom pattern, inlay, and medallion project. We are NWFA members and approach each project with the same standard: evaluate the conditions first, plan the layout correctly, and carry that plan through every step of the work. We work with homeowners in Buckhead, Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Milton, and Braselton, plus surrounding premium metro-Atlanta communities and North Georgia, who are looking for a flooring specialist focused on technically demanding hardwood work.
