Classy Flooring ATL

They installed a beautiful floor and were really easy to work with and we’re really knowledgeable and provided after sales support with information about how best to care for the floor. So all around excellent.

Ive been in construction for over 20 years and Claudiu (and his team) is the most talented ive worked with. They take a detailed and informed approach to every job, researching best practices and products when needed. Claudiu is the only sub I have that routinely attends classes and workshops around the country to stay up to date on techniques and products of his trade. We did a project recently where a large oak-paneled room had to be refinished entirely with Runbio Monocoat. No other company in Atl could have performed this job to that level of quality - it was a giant puzzle and most flooring companies don't know how to properly apply Rubio products (one of my other flooring subcontractors saw his work and hired him to do his mother-in-law's house rather than his own company!). On another project, the designer specified a product for the floor surface that Claudiu felt was the wrong option - he made his case to the designer and she agreed with him, and the results were fantastic! I only hesitate to recommend him so strongly because I worry he will get too busy to help me with future projects. If you have a special project and/or special materials (Rubio Monocoat!) that requires the best results - Classy Flooring is your best option.

Recently we had the pleasure of working with Claudio Toma and his team at Classy Flooring. He had been referred to me by my son and daughter in law who had been very pleased with the flooring work he had done in their Vinings home. Our work was due to a leaky pipe in our dishwasher which ruined the kitchen floor. Unfortunately the water leaked into the subflooring and the hardwoods were buckling before we had a chance to act. We have lived in our home 25 years and had the entire home’s floors restored in 2021. Claudio came to our house and after assessing the situation, gave us several options for the repair. I was so very pleased that he at least gave us the option to attempt a patch in the kitchen rather than having to remove all of our furniture and restore the entire floor again. He let me know ahead of time that the match might not be perfect, but he would do the best he could and would give me the option to do a full repair if I were dissatisfied with the results. He came in one day and removed all the ruined hardwoods in the kitchen. He was very careful and did an excellent job removing the damaged flooring without doing any harm to the unaffected flooring. The next day, his men came in and laced the floor with new hardwoods that blended beautifully. The work was done exceptionally well! Now on to the task of staining and sealant. I was eager to see what they could do. I knew exactly the floor color that was used in 2021, but he assured me that with the wood being 25 years old, it would possibly not match with the new wood being laced into it. Nathan, the craftsman doing the matching stain and color, began with the color stain that we had used in 2021. I was amazed that the color did not match. Nathan set to work trying to decide what he could do and he came up with a wonderful option that matched my floor beautifully. I could not have been more pleased. Everything was done so well and the finished product was more than I had hoped for. I’m so grateful to know someone like Claudio and Nathan with Classy Flooring. They were very professional as well as personable at a time when we were very concerned about the project at hand. I would highly recommend Classy Flooring for your hardwood needs in metro Atlanta and am so grateful to know them should we ever need hardwood flooring work in the future!

Claudiu and his team are incredible. They not only helped us with the preparation, but gave us comfort and confidence in having this big project done while we were out of town. They redid all of our existing hardwood floors on the main floor and matched the exact color of our new hardwood floors, done previously. They also made our original floors look brand new. They work hard to do the job perfectly. We live in Dunwoody and know they service many areas in the metro region. We highly recommend them!

We had such a wonderful experience with Classy Flooring! Of course the floors turned out beautifully, with so much attention to detail; totally modernized our home. More importantly, the company's owner, Claudiu, is extremely easy to work with; prompt, clear, and very knowledgeable about his craft. We felt confident leaving our house for them to work on while out of the country on a vacation. Communication was fantastic through the whole process, and we were thrilled to arrive home to completely refinished floors, and newly installed matching oak floor in a room. I highly recommend Classy Flooring of Atlanta! (I also cross-posted this review in Google!)

Five stars, hands down. Classy Flooring ATL is incredible to work with and delivers beautiful floors!! From the very beginning, Claudiu’s team was professional, honest, and extremely communicative. Claudiu walked me through exactly what to expect, kept me updated daily with videos of the progress, and was transparent every step of the way. At one point, he even honored a pricing mistake that worked against him, which says everything about his integrity. When I bought my home, the floors were in rough shape. The front half had heavily scuffed hardwood, and the back half was covered in worn carpet. Claudiu refinished the existing hardwood and installed new hardwood in the rest of the house, and the transformation was seamless. The floors look absolutely beautiful. Then months later, I made the mistake of letting another contractor do my kitchen floors (he was already handling the kitchen remodel, and it was a small space)… and they completely messed it up. I called Claudiu and he came out, assessed the issue, and fixed it. Even though the wrong materials had been used, he got the floors to match as closely as possible and completely saved the space. Claudiu set the bar so high that every contractor I’ve worked with since has been a disappointment. His level of communication and professionalism is exceptional. Every person who walks into my home comments on how beautiful the floors are. One guest even thought they were luxury vinyl because of how clean and uniform they look. They’re not, they’re real hardwood, and that speaks to the quality of his work. If you need flooring done, stop searching and call Claudiu. I only wish I had more floors for him to do.

We had a fantastic experience with Claudio and his team refinishing the floors in our home. When we purchased the house, the floors were a mix of original 1940s hardwoods and newer additions, three different wood species in total, so we knew it wouldn’t be a simple job. Claudio was incredible during the consultation process. I initially wanted a lighter finish, but he took the time to explain how each type of wood would absorb stain differently. Thanks to his guidance, we pivoted to a darker finish, and it was absolutely the right call. He worked closely with me to get the color just right and made sure the final result felt cohesive throughout the home. The team was efficient, detail-oriented, and clearly had our best interest in mind from start to finish. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out—and we get compliments on our floors all the time! I would absolutely use Claudio again and have already recommended him to others.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Classy Flooring multiple times since 2022, and they continue to exceed our expectations every time. Claudiu and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and professional in every aspect of their work. They have helped us with a variety of projects, including replacing and patching unfinished engineered oak floors, fully refinishing existing oak floors, and completing a full installation and finish of new hardwood flooring. Each project has been completed with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. It’s rare to find a team you can trust time and time again, but they’ve absolutely earned our loyalty. If you’re looking for high-quality flooring installation or refinishing, we highly recommend them!

We hired Classy Flooring ATL to refinish about 2,800 sq ft of our red oak floors in Sugarloaf, including the stairs, and we are very happy with the result. The project involved sanding, filling a lot of gaps in the floor, applying Duraseal Weathered Oak stain, and finishing with LOBA EasyPrime and LOBA 2K Duo. We were honestly skeptical at first because the floors had a lot of issues, and we were not sure they could turn out the way we wanted, but Claudiu explained the process clearly and gave us confidence from the beginning. One of the things we appreciated most was how calm and patient he was, especially when we were unsure about the color. He took the time to answer our questions, walk us through the options, and help us make the right choice without ever making us feel rushed. They also used a dustless sanding system, which helped keep the house much cleaner during the work. The finished floors look beautiful, the stairs match perfectly, and everything feels much more cohesive now. The team was professional, respectful of our home, and clearly cared about doing the job the right way. We would absolutely recommend Classy Flooring ATL.

I've building for 20+ years and have to say, Classy Flooring LLC has surpassed my expectations. This is the second large project that he's completed for me and looks like he will also be awarded all future contracts. Claudiu is very involved with the crew he sent out, and not to take away from the crews, but if I could describe them in one word, it would most certainly be "exceptional". Thank you Classy Flooring LLC, for a professional, clean and flawless experience. I HIGHLY recommend this group. Stefan Covenant Contractors Services LLC
