Following the purchase of our holiday property in Sorrento, Janet successfully worked around existing furniture to style our entertainment haven. From the Master Bedroom with moody tones (encompassing the brief to make it welcoming for both husband and wife!) to the Cigar room, utilising the open fire, black cabinetry and timber floors, Janet exceeded our expectations. Purchasing an animal print rug, blue fabric lux lounge and fabulous cushions and throws bought a character to this lounge that called for a cigar and glass of red! Delivering a welcoming, statement beach house, fit for entertaining and embracing the entire family when needed on special occasions. Janet's creative ability and professionalism have been outstanding with our beach renovations project. Janet understood our vision and there was no problem she couldn't resolve to our satisfaction. During the renovations Janet re-worked the floor plans to open living which allowed for a seamless flow between kitchen, dining and family areas. To say that Janet saved not only our renovation but also our marriage might be a little dramatic, but in all seriousness, Janet was the design and project management angel that we didn’t know we needed! We stumbled across her towards the end of a long renovation project, one for which we were rapidly running out of enthusiasm and energy….. and she immediately assumed control and guided us to make the necessary decisions as well as to find and schedule the myriad of trades we needed to bring the whole project together! Janet seems to have that rare combination of strength of will needed to drive a project forward to meet a deadline as needed, but also the ability to patiently listen and understand what’s important to the client and to successfully incorporate this into the design. Janet was great at understanding what I wanted and quickly formed a vision of the spaces I engaged her for. She is not afraid of using colour and textures and doesn't give a "cookie cutter" solution that is replicated again and again. Rather she listens, collaborates to agree a look and feel and is flexible and open minded to find the right pieces within my budget. She had no problem if I didn't like a suggestion or it was too expensive - she just looked for more affordable options. I also appreciated that she used the existing pieces I had and wanted to keep and built on this. The end result is rooms that have their own look but complement each other and most importantly, feel like "me".

Recently Janet assisted us with making a decision on which building company to go with in knocking down and rebuilding our house. My husband and I were overwhelmed with options and were struggling to make a decision. Janet understood our needs as a family of 5 and helped make the decision clear for us by focusing our attention on what we wanted to achieve with our new home. Janet also made some suggestions to the floorplan which created better use of space, which we are delighted with and pleasingly, the builder can accommodate. We are so grateful for the assistance that Janet has provided our family with building our dream home! We are excited to work with Janet in the future as her professionalism, knowledge and skills are exceptional.
