If I could give zero stars I would. Joe was negligent and incompetent as soon as the project launched. He didn’t return calls, texts, or even effectively communicate what he was doing to our house during the whole time of construction. It was a horrible feeling to watch him and his team ignore instruction and communication as they built onto our house with no regard as to what we wanted. This guy is a clown and we deeply regret hiring him.

I hired JM Mento for essentially a full backyard remodel - including hardscaping, grading, and drainage for my backyard. Joe was tremendous to work with. He was the first of the companies that I reached out to to respond and came out promptly to survey the site. He walked me through his vision for the yard and I could immediately tell he was well experienced in the business. He had a quote prepared the next morning and answered all of my questions (I had SO many) in a timely manner. Joe provided multiple options in the quote to ensure I could adjust as needed to meet my budget. The entire job (large patio, stump and large rock removal, grading and significant drainage to divert water from the back to front yard) was completed in the span of 5 days. The crew that completed the work was friendly, hardworking, and respectful while always ensuring that they cleaned up properly after each day's work. I could not be more thrilled with our new backyard and patio, and feel extremely confident that our water issues are a thing of the past. I would recommend this company to ANYONE looking to have landscape design completed, and Joe and his crew will not disappoint!
