S&E Engineering was conceptualized when couple Geoffrey and Janine decided it was time to pursue their dreams of owning their own business to support their desire to travel full time. Most Engineering firms have a lot of hands on the same project. When this happens it leaves room for miscommunication, errors, and frustration. At S&E we’ve eliminated this pain point by limiting the amount of projects we take on in our small (but mighty!) operation. Services We provide sealed drawings and letters for structural design plans used to obtain building permits and advise contractors for the purpose of construction on residential, commercial, and telecommunications structures. Including but not limited to: ● New build design for single or multi family residential homes ● New designs for commercial or industrial structures ● Structural modifications and renovations for existing buildings ● Structural repairs to existing buildings due to flooding, hurricane damage, impact damage, improper design, etc. ● Structural improvements to support new typically used equipment including HVAC units, piping, canopies, carports, new roofing, etc. ● Design and analysis of earthwork structures including retaining walls and shoring ● Design and analysis of structure foundations including stem walls, piers, spread and wall footings, slabs on grade, and piles. ● Structural design, repair, and modification of structures utilizing concrete, steel, concrete masonry blocks (CMU), brick, wood, and various types of commonly used metals.
