DS General Services Corp.

Welhington and his team did a great job with our gut bathroom renovation project. They were respectful, communicative, and diligent in all of their work. Welhington is very trustworthy and goes the extra mile for his clients. He made sure that the project remained on track and on schedule. The bathroom turned out like we had envisioned it! The expanded shower is great and is very well designed/built. Special shoutout to the tiler - so much attention to detail. We would gladly hire Welhington and his team back for another project and would also recommend them to our friends.

DS Services undertook a major renovation project on our home. Our project involved new hardwood floors in 6 bedrooms, sanding and re-staining of our main living area and full interior painting of our home. Our newly purchased home had been neglected for close to 20 years and Wehlington and his team have made it beautiful. The project was completed on time and on budget. Wehlington is an excellent communicator and easy to deal with. I fully recommend them and will have them do more projects for us.

This was our third project with Welhington, and once again, he exceeded our expectations. The first two projects were smaller jobs, so when we decided to renovate our basement, we didn't hesitate to hire him again. From start to finish, he was very communicative and kept us updated throughout the entire project. His pricing was fair and transparent, and what we appreciated most was that there were no surprise charges at the end. The final cost was exactly what we agreed on, which is something we've unfortunately experienced with other contractors. He and his crew were always on time, showed up when they said they would, and worked incredibly hard every day. They were professional, reliable, and took pride in their work, which really showed in the finished basement. Finding a contractor you can trust isn't easy, and after working with him on three different projects, we can confidently say he's someone we highly recommend. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for future projects.

DS General Services have completed our home renovation and was wonderful to deal with Welhington during the process of work, we love how everything came up, and recommend DS General Services for anyone looking for a great quality of services. Totally worth dealing with then.

I am very happy with the results of the project they did for me. They do a very good job. Very professional and always on time.

Welhington Da Silva and DS General Services do excellent work. They are now completely an extensive home renovation including three bathrooms for me. People comment that our new master bathroom is so beautiful that they want to copy ours. Welhington and his crew work very efficiently and his plumbing and electrical subs are excellent and come on a timely basis. They are very loyal to Welhington and give his jobs priority. We are very happy with the great improvements on our Wellesley home.

DS General Services Corp did a wonderful job on our new screened in porch and deck. Only negative I can say is the project did take a bit longer then expected but that was not due to the DS crew's work, we can't get mother nature to cooperate! I would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work! They were friendly, and kept the process/yard very tidy as they went. They would keep us informed of their work schedule and supply time line and stuck too it. We are very happy with the result!

The crew at DS General Services were truly amazing. From our initial consultation to the final touches of construction, their helpfulness shone through every step of the process. As first-time remodelers tackling a complete kitchen renovation, master bath upgrade, and new flooring installation, we greatly appreciated how they managed our expectations. Their clear and consistent communication kept us informed each week, ensuring we were always aligned on the project timeline. Even with the significant undertaking of gutting our kitchen, the team maintained a remarkably clean and professional workspace throughout the entire project. I highly recommend DS General Services to anyone considering home renovations, regardless of the project size. I know I'll be calling on them for our next project. Sincerely, Chris

Smoothest GC work I ever had. No surprises, no complaints. Great work. We’re very satisfied with the outcome and with the process. Welhington and his team are great! Highly recommended

I contracted with DS General Services to redo an old bathroom and they did a fantastic job! Everyone involved from demo, plumbing, electrical and inspections were a pleasure to work with. Would definitely hire them again.

My husband and I had the carpet removed and hard wood floor installed in our master bedroom. We had previously hired Wellington to install hardwood flooring in our family room and were very pleased with his work. Project completion time exceeded our expectations. Wellington and his crew are: On time Trustworthy Honest Efficient Polite Practice good quality work and product

We just completed the addition above our garage and love it! Extremely happy with the work and dedication from DS General Services! They also: - installed new windows in the entire house - painted the entire exterior of the house - installed a new roof - installed new exterior and storm doors

We recently completed a multi month house improvement project with Welhington and his team. The project included both interior and exterior work. Welhington was respectful. professional, communicative and fair. His team are some of the hardest workers we’ve encountered. We will definitely be using them again for our next project.

Working with DS General Services is just what one looks for in a contractor. Welhington was a great communicator, he was flexible, and punctual. The cost of the project (we redid our entrance) was very fair. The finished job was beautiful. Thank you so much!

I recently replaced the kitchen tile with wood flooring as well as refinished the rest of the first floor wood flooring and it matches seamlessly. I couldn't be happier with the results. The new floor in the kitchen and the refinishing of the existing wood floors was handled with great care and attention to detail. The team managed to bring the old floors back to life, making them look brand new. From start to finish, the project was executed professionally. The team was punctual, respectful of my home, and the work speaks for itself. I highly recommend DS General Services to anyone considering any work done in their home.

Highly recommend DS General Services Corp. We recently did a major renovation including changing flooring of the entire house and paint. They did a fantastic job, very timely on responding on any questions and scheduling, and providing great suggestions.

I hired Welhington to remodel a small bathroom, which included doubling the size of a shower stall. He and his team were very trustworthy and professional. They were very approachable about answering any questions I had before or during the project. They adhered to the agreed-upon timeline, and also stuck to the agreed-upon total cost. Welhington was very patient with my specific situation, where he was able to work around several items that were (and still are) on back order. Besides some minor issues that are not even worth mentioning, I would absolutely recommend Welhington for whatever remodeling job you have.

It was wonderful working with Wehlington and his team. Great communication throughout. Excellent quality work. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a home project.

Wellington and his team are super reliable. They remodeled our bathroom in only a few short weeks, arriving early in the AM and working throughout the day to get the project finished quickly. We invited them back to replace our doors and windows in the basement and they did another great job - installing the sills, windows, and door in just one day. Highly recommend them.

Welhington and his team did a great job refinishing our maple hardwood kitchen floor. It came out beautifully! Communication was good, and they always showed up when they said they would. I would definitely hire them again.

I researched and interviewed a number of other contractors before I hired DS General Services Corp. I am very pleased with the bathroom remodeling project that Welhington and his crew have done for me. From the start to the finish, the communication, customization, and the quality of work were all excellent. I am very satisfied. Thanks guys.

I had my deck rebuilt by DS General Services, and was extremely impressed by the quality of their work and by the professionalism. I was able to communicate regularly with them and they were responsive and helpful at every stage of the project, I highly recommend DS General Services!

I have used DS General Services 3 times now for refinishing hardwood floors and interior painting. I was very pleased the first 2 times so I used them again for another floor refinishing job. There were three floors involved. Two are parkay and one was hardwood but covered in carpet so that most of the floor was not visible. At the beginning of the job, I specifically told the owner that if there were any issues to please contact me. At the conclusion of the job, I saw that the floor that had been covered in carpet had large gaps between the boards. It is a very old house so this is not a surprise. However, I was never contacted about it. When I contacted DS to ask what they would recommend to address it, they said any wood filler would fail so its best to just leave it as is. I googled the issue and saw that it was recommended to fill such gaps with a mixture of the sanding dust generated from sanding the floor and a sanding sealer. If this had been suggested prior to finishing, I would have agreed. Its obviously too late now. DS said they have encountered this in many old houses and no one has ever complained before. I find that hard to believe. So now DS is recommending I use a wood filler. Its not too late for that but they already told me that would be doomed to fail. I probably will take the original advice and leave it as is but I am in a quandary as to what to do. I am mostly disappointed that the gaps were not brought to my attention when there was time to address it with multiple options.

Found DS General Services to be professional and quality oriented. Job was completed on time as planned and final product came out great. Highly recommend this company.

Welhington and his crew are extremely professional. They work hard, they are respectful, and they do a fantastic job. Welhington is very responsive, he always replies to texts in a timely fashion and is available to answer questions at all times. What I admire the most about the DS General Services aside from their excellent work ethic is the fact that the always clean after themselves and vacuum the work area at the end of their work day which to me is a sign of respect. I strongly recommend DS General Service.

Welhington and his crew did excellent job renovating our basement. We renovated two rooms, added wet bar with a sink and a bathroom and laundry room. They communicated every step of the way, proposed some good changes to the original plan and were upfront about costs. I’d love to hire them again for another project and definitely recommend them.

Welhington and his crew from DS General Services refinished our entire first floor of hardwood flooring as well as our stairs and upstairs hallway. The work was completed by a very professional team, on time and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them and look forward to having them back to complete other projects.

We did a complete renovation of a bathroom with Welhington and his team at DS General Services. We are extremely happy with the results. Throughout the process, Welhington kept us informed and showed a commitment to quality. Everyone who came into our home to work on the project was incredibly nice and professional. The project was done on time and on budget, and Welhington was always willing to respond to concerns and make corrections along the way. We are so happy we chose them. For our project, we didn't work with a decorator, so this did mean we had to stay on top of materials to make sure the project could progress. It was a little more work for us than it would have been with some other contractors, but we got exactly what we wanted and saved quite a bit of money in the process. If you are willing to put this additional work in, DS General Services has our highest recommendation. We would definitely use them again.

I’ve had Welhington and his crew here for two jobs. Super professional, super hard workers, and the floors on both levels of my house look fantastic. He restored my hardwood on the top floor a few months ago and just yesterday installed a new floor and baseboards on the first level. Super happy with the results. His rates are very competitive, and he’s also just very nice, very calm. I highly recommend this crew.

Super dependable with impeccable communication. When it comes to taking care of your family’s biggest investment you want a top notch company who is great to work with. Every aspect of our finished basement project was seamless, accurate with proposal and timing but most importantly exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier! Thank you DS General Services Corp.
