We’ve hired Fortune Stoneworks for several projects at our home. Eddie and his team are consummate professionals and skilled craftsmen who do excellent work. They aren’t the “cheapest” but they’re the firm to hire if you want it done well.

We had a very positive experience working with Fortune Stoneworks to restore and repair our flagstone steps and patio. Eddie was incredibly responsive and came to our property the same day I reached out to look at the project. He followed-up with a quote within 24 hours and was similarly responsive about any questions I had about the quote. His team did a great job on the project itself and our steps and patio look infinitely better.

We had a very specific vision of what we wanted, and we were worried that other contractors would vary from our requests. I had a large patio and front walkway redone by Fortune Stoneworks and am thrilled with the results! Eddie was prompt, professional, and followed through on every call, email and text message. His team of stone masons were wonderfully skilled and professional. They were also very conscientious about my property and left things immaculate. The original patio was concrete slabs with spaces in between for rocks or grass. It never quite worked out the way I wanted it, and Eddie suggested putting flagstones on top of the existing concrete base. I liked this idea better than the contractors who suggested removing the whole thing and putting in pavers. The stones are beautiful, with a lot of color variation. The installation went smoothly and the team was always prompt and courteous. Really can't say enough great things about my experience with Fortune Stoneworks, and would certainly highly recommend them to anyone.

Eddie Lovius and Fortune Stoneworks restored my 1000 SF flagstone patio that had been installed over 20 years ago. The patio was originally set in bluestone dust and over the years it had sunk in some places and heaved in some places due to the weather. In addition, the joints had deteriorated over the years. Fortune Stoneworks did an excellent job restoring the entire patio. The workmanship was high quality, it was performed under the estimated completion time and the price was very competitive and fair. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Fortune Stoneworks for a quote to repoint the landings to my entryways and create a new stone walkway between my back porch and detached garage. They contacted me and came for a consultation the next day. They presented multiple options and started the project in about a week. The whole process took about two weeks. We were impressed with their knowledge and craftsmanship and are very happy with the results!

Fortune did a spectacular job with both my driveway and back patio. They replaced a deteriorating asphalt drive with a lovely cement driveway and reset my flagstone patio so that it looks brand new. They assisted in design of the replacement driveway to eliminate a troublesome water ponding problem, and it worked really well. Prices were incredibly reasonable, and I could not believe how quickly they scheduled and completed the work. I’d use them again in a heartbeat and enthusiastically recommend them.
