Jose Camara was referred to us by a friend and realtor for some work. He is courteous and transparent with his clients. His work is clean and within reasonable time tables. He follows up on work done and makes sure clients are satisfied, would recommend!

We hired Camara Construction on a recommendation and are so happy we did! A few years ago we had some walls removed and turns out, the work was not done properly. Jose came in to asses our home. He was professional from first contact. He gave us a timely quote and answered all of our questions. When work began we knew we were in good hands - Jose communicated throughout the project, left each day clean, gave us photos of the work that was not visible, and finished ahead of schedule! Camara Construction is not only a company we will be recommending to everyone we know, they will be coming back to tackle every project we have from here on out! Nothing but great things to say about our experience.

We were referred to Jose by our realtor. She had done business with him for several projects and was highly impressed! “Completely Impressed” is a better description of Jose and his work. He responds promptly to texts/emails and is always on time, describing what he plans to accomplish that day (we needed to “personalize” our new home). We welcomed his input on the various projects, which all came out great. We had him replace our outdated/dangerous electrical panel, including removing, replacing and painting the surrounding bricks-looks great! Adding pendant lights to our kitchen, new shower system in the primary bath, new ceiling fans—too many improvements done well to include here!

I’ve been a painting contractor for 30 years and in construction since the mid 70s. In that time, I’ve worked with dozens of building contractors throughout the bay area, and I know what type of builders can manage and execute high end construction projects. For the past few years, I’ve worked along side Jose Camara of Camara Construction in Sonoma County. We’ve worked on several large construction projects where the clients were very particular about the details and relied on the general contractor to guide them through the project. Working along side Jose, I’ve watched him oversee and facilitate every phase of construction to meet the satisfaction of very critical clients. He’s recently done work for some of my personal friends, and they’ve been thrilled with the results. He’s also currently working on my house, which I know will be another outstanding job. I would absolutely recommend Camara Construction to anyone who needs the talents of an honest, knowledgeable and dedicated building contractor.

Jose built a split level deck along with installation of a panoramic door, it was a highlight of our home. He also designed and remodeled a bathroom, bedroom, and laundry room, which exceeded my expectations. I had several small to medium projects at my (older) home and no one was really getting back to me! Jose was doing / did an amazing job on my neighbors Stairs + Fencing so I asked for quotes. Not only did Jose give me reasonable quotes, showed interest in me & my home, he started up within a week! >Repaired/replaced my Retaining Wall properly (rock, dirt + french drain) & it looks great! >Installed my New Tile for shower walls & floor, repaired drain and pipes underneath. Created flooring under shower area & used top quality materials to seal, waterproof and his detailed caulking awesome - it's beautiful! >New borders around the new Luxury Vinyl Flooring - it's perfect! I highly recommend Jose Camara for ALL and ANY projects you may have at your home! He's now my new go-to guy & will be here for more projects soon!

Jose was wonderful to work with. He removed and replaced my front stairway (with Trex) and railing added a fence and replaced siding on my house.His communication was excellent, the quality of work was excellent, and the price was excellent. So many neighbors complimented me on his work that I had to get a stack of his business cards to hand out because so many people were asking for his contact info. He is currently working on my neighbor‘s house on a bathroom remodel and then he will be back to my house for a kitchen remodel and bathroom upgrade.
