We hired J.D. Stipa Construction for a complete bathroom remodel and are very happy with how it turned out. Everything we requested design-wise was completed just as we discussed, and the workmanship was solid. J.D. is an honest worker who delivered on what we agreed upon. His subcontractors were also great to work with—always pleasant, professional, and showed up when they said they would. It’s rare to find such reliable workers these days. The only thing we wish we had included in our contract was a clear project timeline to help keep things on schedule. Overall, we’re pleased with the work and would recommend J.D. Stipa Construction to others.

Putting an addition on to our house was an enjoyable experience. John listened to everything we wanted and got it done. There was no down time, from framing to drywall to outside work everything was timed perfectly. The project from start to finish took about five weeks. We wanted an arch between the new room and the existing house and John put in a custom arch. Looks fantastic. There was nothing we wanted that couldn't be done. John took his time with us and was on site every day. There were no hidden costs. Really can't say enough good things about the work that was done.

John did an excellent job installing a tile floor in our finished basement. He was always on time and was extremely neat and professional. He mixed the grout manually saving us money when compared with pre-mixed grout. The basement floor looks great!

John and his team came to replace several portions of my garage door wood, and then re-capped the wood to a clean and neat finish. They also replaced the porch support beams in the direct front of my home. The job was well done and we are very pleased!

We hired JD Stipa, Inc to build an "Age In Place" bathroom addition for my mother who now lives at home with my wife, kids and me. John and his crew are incredibly professional, reliable and true craftsmen. As you can imagine during any renovation it can be stressful. Throw in the fact that your mother who is in need of daily care is moving into your home, the stress level increases 10 fold. From the beginning of the project all the way through completion John and his crew were very easy to work with, adjusting their works schedules to accommodate our family needs. Lastly everything was completed within budget, which as you know is also very important. I will hire John and his team for our next renovation project.

John and his crew did a great job tiling a powder room and installing a granite hearth around the fireplace. His team was very knowledgeable and respectful. When some snags to the fireplace project arose, they provided a good solution to address those issues. While onsite, they kept the work areas clean with very little disruption to the rest of the house. I will certainly consider J.D. Stipa for future projects.

My experience with J.D. Stipa, Inc was professional and courteous from start to finish. This was the first major renovation that I completed so having someone walk me through the process and provide a very detailed explanation of the work was essential. John and his crew were respectful of both me and my home and made every effort to work with my schedule. Last but not least the workmanship was terrific. I'm looking forward to working with them again.

J. D. Stipa, Inc. created the kitchen I envisioned! They removed the wall in between my dining room and kitchen. Constructed an island, relocated cabinets and the refrig. Removed a ceiling fan, installed 4 high hats and 2 decorative lights. All of this was done with the utmost professionalism.

J. D. Stipa was hired to design and install custom woodworking in my living room. The company is highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy with a lot of integrity. All the workers were capable and responsive to our interests, as well as hardworking. The design stage was great, with a lot of communication. The contractor was willing to meet as many times as necessary to get the design just right. During construction he was willing to travel great distances to obtain items for this highly demanding customer! I do think the estimates could have been more detailed though to avoid the inevitable hiccups that pop up during renovations.
