Strong Builders completed a full ground-up residential project in the Historic District of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The scope included complete site development and utility installation, as no services were available on site, with trenching and coordination for all service connections. The home features a fully adhered TPO roof system, a 24-foot multi-panel bi-fold patio door, waterproof plaster shower systems, custom tile work, premium laminate flooring, a gas fireplace, and a full fire sprinkler system. Heating and cooling are provided by a forced air HVAC system. The project also incorporated rust-finish corrugated metal panels in the portal areas for a distinctive architectural look. Strong Builders did a down-to-the-studs renovation of our kitchen and laundry room. They rolled with the punches—adobe walls, surprises—and improved our house and our lives. Next project is a 500-square-foot studio attached to the house with plumbing challenges. I have confidence in Hector Bequett and Strong Builders.

Hector and his crew completed an interior renovation including a kitchen and bathroom and exterior site work last year on my 1980’s adobe house. He is about to start on a third project for me involving some window and door rework , canale replacement, and adding an exterior portal. His crew is hardworking and they do whatever is necessary to get you the results that you want. Hector is easy to communicate with and takes his time working on weekends if needed. Most of all Hector has integrity which is rare to find in the construction industry. I highly recommend Strong Builders.

Be wary about hiring this contractor - multiple issues with quality of work, lack of professionalism, no knowledge of city ordinances and wilful excess billing. Santa Fe is a small market and there are companies like this that are looking to take advantage of people. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Hector and Strong Builders really came through for us. They built a second story on top of our existing 2 br, 1 bath adobe home, creating an amazing 3br, 2 bath home that we will spend the rest of our lives in. Hector and his crew were willing to work with us, easily reachable, polite, and timely. They worked with us and guided us from the beginning design stages all the way through to installing the final finishes. I highly recommend Strong Builders.

Hector Bequett and is company Strong Builders LLC have been my design, construction and repair contractors for over 3 years now. I found Strong Builders through another happy customer and I have been fully satisfied. First, in 2019 they did some roof maintenance and replaced some columns on my porch. Hector and the crew are responsive and keep the work areas clean. They completed work within the agreed budget and schedule. However, if weather delays are needed to make sure a process or materials is properly done, I was told promptly and work resumed on time. Next, Hector helped design a two-bedroom, full kitchen and bath guesthouse. Strong Builders completed the project during the pandemic so there was a several month delay, but the finished home is outstanding and I was able to get a long-term tenant right away. I have seen Strong Builders grow into a full-service general contracting and construction company that now has major experience with residential and commercial projects. I recently used them again in 2022 and early 2023 for some plumbing, electrical and general repairs. I am planing an addition and some garage upgrades next year and will stick with Strong Builders.

Strong Builders (owner Hector) renovated my basement. Hector and his crew were reliable, curious, honest, timely and a delight to work with. If a change in the schedule was necessary, Hector always called, relayed necessary information and always rescheduled. Hector cares about his clients and their wants and questions. We have enjoyed working with Hector and have lined up several more projects for him and his crew. Hector may be young but he knows his business and is always the gentlemen. We are lucky we found him.

Strong Builders was highly recommended by a colleague, and my wife and I are ecstatic with our small addition and interior remodel project! Hector's excellent design ideas transformed our house and made it fully functional. From beginning to end, Hector communicated issues, concerns, and scheduling details for electrical, plumbing, inspections, etc., so there were no surprises. He stayed within budget and accommodated additional requests from us via change order. Hector's crew is amazing, and they cleaned up after themselves daily by sweeping, moping, using the Shopvac, etc. They also used drop cloths throughout for additional protection to new and existing items in our home. Their job was very challenging, as our project was on a hill with no vehicle access so their work was very labor intensive. Their finish work exceeded our expectations! We hope to bring them back in the Fall to complete our Phase II Exterior Improvement Project. We highly recommend!

Strong Builders - Hector Bequett is a craftsman and a thinker. He has excellent attitude, is multi-skilled and has a trusted work force. He has high attention to detail and completed the work within our agreed upon schedule. I can't wait to do more work with him! He is trustworthy and the workarea is kept tidy and safe (this was especially important for renovation in a home where people were living). I cannot emphasize enough how easy it was to work with and communicate with Hector. Project Scope: Renovation of two bathrooms -complete demolition and rebuild within limits of existing bathrooms. High quality materials which involved structural reinforcement of walls for wall mounted items and high quality tile work on walls and floors.
