Niche & Nova Home Services, LLC

Hiring Niche & Nova has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever encountered. I contracted them to build a deck and pergola for $12,000, which I paid in full and on time. What was supposed to be a straightforward project has turned into a nightmare that has dragged on for over 12 weeks with little progress to show for it. From the start, the contractor has been disorganized, unprofessional, and deceitful. They repeatedly underestimated the project, asking for extensions and excuses about needing to take on other jobs to afford materials for mine. Despite agreeing to a refund or completion deadline, they have failed to meet it and are now demanding more money from me to finish the job — on a project that has already been grossly delayed and underdelivered. This comes after repeatedly being promised that they would honor our agreement and complete the project on-time. The pergola portion of the project is only about 25% complete, yet they’re trying to refund me far less than what is owed. They claim they’ll issue a refund within seven days but have already reduced that amount egregiously, which doesn’t even align with the work completed or the agreed terms. The pergola is left in an absolute mess. There are unpainted posts, incomplete headers, and materials thrown about my yard. They haven’t cleaned up after themselves, and the job site is a disaster zone. The lack of accountability and respect for their clients is appalling. If you’re considering working with this contractor, save yourself the time, money, and frustration — find someone else who values their customers and honors their agreements.
